This is so sweet! I'm thinking about going down to DL in March (26th Anniversary) - but I know absolutely nothing about DL- can you give me some hints. We like staying onsite, but if you can give some really nice close offsite places we might be interested in that as well. What else is there to do around DL?? I need the scoop Glynis! Please!??!?? Any websites?

I just sent you a PM. I'd be happy to help you with a plan. You might want to ask Tinkaroo first if I was any help or if I just confused her. I could walk you around both parks blindfolded, but I'm not much help with other things to do.

We are relieved. And not only that, but it was so amazing that we both just felt so at peace with it right away! That was definitely a first. That's why I say it MIGHT even rank above Cincy, although I'm not sure.... we've had our hearts set on this program since the beginning. We'll have to see how the actual interview goes. Even though Kyle knows the program from being here, it will still be nice to go and hear the same sort of presentation to compare it more easily.

We need details my friend! then... we can start planning. What's your budget and how long? Would you like to meet DH and I for dinner one night???

Meeting you for dinner would be out of this world fun! I've got to pin DH down on a budget, so as soon as I do, I'll start screaming for help! Right now, I'm simply compiling a list of what everyone likes to do and where people like to stay, etc. so I've got something for him to look at. Then we can go from there. The best thing is that it's no kids! Don't get me wrong! I love my kids, but DH and I like to do things alone, too. I don't know, yet, how I'll feel about turning 40, but I think it might be best if the kids aren't around in case I have a melt-down. That's entirely possible, since DH likes to spend my birthday reminding me that I'm 15 months older than he is. Pretty sad, huh? Oh well.

I think gloves would be preferable for 5 year olds, but mittens or gloves - either is fine with me. I'm hoping for something unisex and hopefully the stretchy kind. I need about 20 pair.

I went to Hancock Fabrics today and picked up a brochure they had at the counter that showed fleece mittens (no pattern though). I wonder how difficult it would be to make them out of fleece if I can't find "real" ones. I understand how to make the shape, just not sure how they would stay on since fleece doesn't really stretch. Elastic maybe

Yes - The Day in the Life of Fairport. We hadn't been here all that long and there was almost a full page picture of Matt and I. We caught a boat load of sh** for a while after that. "We've been here for sixteen years and nothing, you arrive and have pictures and an article..." Matt was the cool kid in school that week

We can plan more then 1 event if everyone would like- maybe if we're really fast we could do an illuminations cruise and split the cost- or something ilke that. I'd be in for any get togethers...

I talked to someone today about renting points for Beach Club Villas for the marathon weekend and following week. I could have chosen between any of the DVC resorts, she apparently owns tons of points and rents them out (listed on ebay) and I can get the points I want at about $11.50 per point. Do any of you DVC'ers know anything about renting points? I have read about it on the disboards, and checked the concept out, but noone is renting points for that far out as far as I can tell, and this woman has really good feedback on ebay. I am early enough that she can call at 11 months out and hopefully get me what I want.

Any thoughts or other ideas for me?
