at least the turkey sub craving is healthier for you then the chickfila cravings you were having.KMH1 said:Oh, I forgot to mention that Kevin was discussing this with a coworker today and she told him she had this sensation when she was pregnant with her boy. That got him all excited.
I also have already been having cravings. Never had cravings with Alyssa. Now all I want is a turkey sub from Subway. Kevin claims he's not "taking care" of these cravings until March.![]()

Preheat oven to 375.
Season fish with salt and pepper. Place in a baking dish and squeeze juice of 2 limes over fish fillets. Sprinkle 2/3 C. chopped onion over fish and bake for 20 minutes or until fish flakes early.
In a saucepan, melt 2 2/3 Tbs. butter. Add 2 Tbs. flour and then gradually add 1 1/3 C. milk. Stir constantly over med-low heat till sauce begins to thicken; salt and pepper to taste. Add 1-2 Tbs. lime juice or to taste. Add 1/3 C. chicken broth and continue simmering till sauce has thickened to your liking. Place fish on plates and ladle sauce over the top; garnish with a wedge of lime and serve.
Those came out very nice!ellenbenny said:Here are some Christmas sweatshirts I made for myself, my DSis and my DMom
I used the dark transfer paper from Ebay on sweatshirts I got from AC Moore.
I could have probably used light transfer paper, but had the dark left so I went ahead and used it.
The shirts have washed nicely.

Sometimes meds can cause that. Are you on any antibiotics or other medication?KMH1 said:I'm hoping the second trimester will be better, because I've been really nauseous morning, noon, and night these past six weeks or so. Anything and everything causes me to have gagging spells, but luckily I haven't actually lost my lunch (or dinner) too often. I also caught some bug about three weeks ago that I just can't kick completely and my nasal drainage is causing more queasiness. Hope that's not TMI!![]()
The newest thing though, is I've had a nasty metallic taste in my mouth for three days. Anybody else ever experience that?

Sometimes, switching the meds ie. different antibiotics helps. Hope you feel better soon.
I had hyperemisis gravidarium with my pregnancies and they put me on Reglan so I would keep things down. It might help with the nausea if you ask your dr. They told me it was completely safe. Ginger capsules can also help.Hi Cindy. Welcome!WeLoveTheMouse said:I loved lurking on the old thread but this one its way better now! EllenBenny, I love the sweatshirt!!! Could the original desginer please PM me the red ornament? I would love to use it for this years Christmas trip.
Amy, how are you feeling? My second trimester was my "sick" time when I was pregnant with Kyle.
Good luck to all of you who are dieting this year!! I did Atkins to lose the baby weight- I gained 60 and lost 70 in 6 months!
Anyway, I am glad there is a new thread to keep the good times rolling!!!!
