She in kindergarden right? If so, I'd keep her home one more day.

There are so many germs at school.

And if she's lost her voice, she won't feel like herself either.....

Hugs to you......

well you two are loads of help

I find it so funny that I will post and find my post is either right above hers or right under... It's not planned that way.... :goodvibes :goodvibes

But even though we are "twins" , as you see, we actually do have two completely different minds.... :hyper2: :hyper2: :hyper2:

And I have a third grandchild on the way. 3 more weeks and counting down! :cool2: :cool2:

I need some of that there pixie dust. Went to get my dental crown on this morning and they decided I needed a root canal. So I am sitting here with a numb mouth. They gave me a prescription for pain medicine and told me it would be sore for the next three days. Ouch. Anyway the cost is what is so bad. I have spent out of pocket already 700.00 for this one tooth and depending on what the insurance don't pay I may have to pay more. This is an unexpected expence and is really eating into my disney money. We go in a little over four weeks. Now I still have to go back next week to get the stupid crown on. Sorry so long just needed to vent. I think I am feeling better already just being able to share my unpleasant experience today.

Delinda
Sorry to hear that. Hope it feels better soon. And that it doesn't end up costing too much. :flower:

I can't wait to meet you Kate. Then you will see why my DH rolls his eyes and says 'Stereo' when Steffy and I get together. I just wish my sister Tinker1bell's sister was able to come too. it would be like watching Deniese's kids.

Okay DDA family, I really need you!!!

My older sister's birthday is next week. What I want to give her is a trip to the World. My World. She's 65+ and has never been.... :scared1:

I am torn. If I go for the Christmas stuff (my first choice) I would have to go Nov. 30th to Dec. 5 or so. This will have to be a budget trip, but I would REALLY love to stay at the WL again.... She would love that...

If they offer the free dining again   (yes, I can dream) then I would like to go then. That would be Sept 28th to Oct 4th....

My dilema... I want to give her a tshirt for her birthday telling her she's going to Disney. Do I put for Christmas and then if they offer the free food tell her we're going earlier, or do I give her a thsirt just with a "trip to WDW" on it? I want her to know I have really planned this and we're going.....

I really want to go to Candlight Proc., see the Osborne lights, go to MVMCP. Watch the cute show at EPCOT. Look at the lights come on at the countries and watch the holiday ending for Illuminations...Sip a hot toddy in the lobby of the WL. Sit on the beach and watch the ELP and the fireworks. Take the little boat to the MK or the CR and ride the monorail. She'll just love it. Hmmmm, I really, really, really need a balcony....they have nice balconies with a peek at the castle, woods view.... And I really want the dining plan, that was so cool.... She'd love that because then she wouldn't spend all of her time looking at the price of food and freaking out.....

My AP expired. :sad1:    so I can't get the BRP. If I sell my condo in the next 4 days I'll buy DVC, but no DVC resort has a view of the castle!!!! :scratchin :scratchin

Okay, didn't mean to get so long fingered, but I really need a shirt for my sister......

Help!!!!! :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

Okay Steffy - here you go:

$2566 - Wilderness Lodge Sept.- October with Dining and 7 day park hoppers (2110 is the quote without dining which is where you price would be with free dining)

when I put in your December dates it told me there was no availability and then I tried to change the date and now the booking engine was down - but I would guess you would be looking at similar costs

If you buy DVC you could stay at the poly for 350 points for a lagoon view - I say this b/c if you bought now let's just say 200 points - I think you would get those points and then more points before your trip - so you would have 400 points you could use OR you could rent out 260 points at $10 each and have $2600 to pay for your Wildnerness Lodge view -

so that is something to think about -

I would go ahead and make her a generic shirt = from what I hear the incentives worked great this fall - and maybe they are going to be giving great incentives for this fall - I hope so!!! Then you might be able to go then

On a side note - I prefer my shirts not to have my dates on them so that I can wear them whenever!!!

Week at Pop.... $1,888 for 2 with PH and dining....

Week at WL.... $2,700 for same.....

That $900 could be spent on MVMCP tickets. Souviners.

Things that make me go hmmmmmmmm :chat: :flower3: :hyper2: :hyper2: :hyper2:

Oh my goodness Kate,

We're up at the same time!!! It took me longer to post,as I had to fix the majority of my typos.... and then edit and edit.

Thank you so much for looking into this! I am soooo untalented... if you gave me an idea for a shirt....that would be so cool.....

I going nite nite for real this time..

I was sad about the Dawgs, though - what happened??? At least they did make it a respectable game at the end - I thought I wasn't seeing right when it was 21-0!

THEy SLEPT THROUGH THE 1ST QUARTER!!!! :scared1:

I thought I was over this lose but I guess not.....anyway.....it was a good game after halftime but they just weren't into the game until halfway thru 2nd qtr and after that the damage was done. But they are still my DAWGS and they will always be my favorite.

Lynn

Good morning, Lynn. Seems like we are always some of the early birds, though I had to do a 20 minute back-up and a few other things before I could log on this morning. Drat those office opening chores...... they only help pay for my WDW addiction!

I am more of a reader than a poster but I thoroughly enjoy reading this thread daily, I think you guys are a great bunch of people and I could defiantly use some of your prayers and pixie dust this week, my 5 year old son, Blake is having his tonsils and adenoids taken out on Thursday, I know that he will be much better off in the long run but right now I am terrified of him having to be put out.

Libby
Prayers and pixie dust from me to you and Blake. I'm sure he will be thrilled with all of the ice cream he gets to eat! I am surpised...I didn't think they took out tonsils anymore. He must of had a lot of problems.

For all of you that were there for me during the Train Incident with my Dad, he had a CT Scan yesterday and everything is back to normal. He has been medically cleared.

Colby's face has healed, but he is left with a 3/4 " scar on his left cheek, actually between the cheek and mouth kind of following the laugh/smile line. Hopefully that will get better over time.
Deb, I am so happy to hear that your dad is cleared. What great news. He is one lucky man.

Over time Colby's scar should fade. Alyssa had stitches on her chin when she was 2 and you can hardly see the scar now. I don't know if any of that scar fade stuff actually works, but you might think about giving it a try.
