I am very curious to see how we like it...even if it is spectacular..I am not so sure the cost could be justified....so I am really going to try & live it up!! :teeth:
And have a few drinks. :drinking1 to help the cost seem worth it. :teeth:

I have a new update on the firemen..and this is a better update! I just checked his carepage (where a family member puts updates everyday) and they said today he seemed to be VERY responsive! He opened up his eyes and tried to look at people when they walked in. He was squeezing hands harder..He even attempted to pucker up his lips to kiss people. He is not considered out of the woods yet, of course-He received a pint of blood today but his hemoglobin level is okay.
This is some of the best news that we have gotten so far and we are just hoping and praying the news coninues to get better...I will be going to the hospital tomorrow or tuesday and will let you guys know how that goes, but wnated to share some "better" news for a change!

Good news Jen!!

The BAB Mickey and Minnie - are those in the regular BAB stores now? Seems like I had read that they were only going to be in Orlando, and at the one in DTD in California. Can I get my own here?!?!?

If so, I know what I'm doing tomorrow after work! :goodvibes

BTW - the Disney Store is having a huge clearance sale right now. We are purchasing tons of small gifts to send our nieces and nephew in the months leading up to our 2007 family holiday trip, and I was able to get them all baseball hats for about $2.99, my nieces some bracelets for $0.47, and I got me a really cute boat bag for our cruise for a little over $7.00!

Heidi - I'm so sorry about your mom! She will continue to be in my prayers!

Jen - Thanks for updating us on your fireman friend. Hopefully, the updates will continue to be good news!

Lindsay - Welcome back! It's nice to have you around. I hope things will settle down at work for you! I'm so glad you got to go to Hawaii for a break. You deserve it!

Marti - IT'S GREAT TO SEE YOU, AGAIN!!! I've really missed you! I hope all is well with Paul's new job. How's Matthew doing?

Heidi - prayers for your mom!! I hope she is feeling better soon!!!!!

Glynis – I loved your pictures – I took a wilton class when Julia was born – it is so fun to decorate cakes but WAY too messy!!! I loved the picture of your whole family – you must be so proud of your dad!!! And I hope you are prepared to lock your girls up!!! They are GORGEOUS!!

Denise – enjoy your kid free week!!!!

Missy Mouse – Hi!! Jump on in!! We love meeting new people!!!

Lindsay – I loved your Hawaii pictures!! Did you go on the Napali Coast tour? I love Hawaii – Steve and I wanted to go on a Hawaiian Cruise for our 10th anniversary but since we are doing a Disney cruise the same year – I think that we will wait a couple of years – when the kids are a little older!!! So are you not using points for your September trip so you can have the free dining?

Jen – so glad to hear a good update!!!

Becky – awesome firework pics! I don’t think mine will turn out that well!!

Steffy – I love your Mickeys!!! We NEED the BAB Mickey and Minnie!!!

Thanks I think I'll swing by our Disney store tomorrow. :thumbsup2
The BAB Mickey and Minnie's are only at DL and orlando BABW. But, I am picking up the skins for anyone who wants and shipping them and they can stuff them at their own BAB. Or some are having me stuff them that don't have a local BAB. Either way if you want me to pick you up a pair you can PM me I will be leaving Sat. for DL.
The offer stands for anyone who wants a set or a specific one. :goodvibes

Hopefully there won't be any people around from this thread taking pictures as I stumble out of the concierge lounge and fall into the pool!! :rotfl2:

Thanks. I think we all turned out pretty good! I wish that I had taken a picture of all the little kids. They are the beauties! I have some darling nieces and nephews! Just wasn't thinking, though. Hopefully we'll get another chance.

Mickey and Minnie BAB are only available in Florida and California at one location maybe two in Florida). Pooh bear is supposed to be available at all locations sometime soon.

Ohh, now I have to go to the Disney Store tomorrow and McDonald's.

My parents best friends throw a HUGE 4th of July party every year that ends with a HUGE 1/2 hour fireworks display!! This year they had a bounce house - the kids loved that they could spend as much time as they wanted in there!! There we 150 there this year!!!

Nick wouldn't stay outside for the fireworks! They really scared him and he had to stay with me until he fell asleep tonight!! Poor little guy - this is going to be such a long week!!

Now you are making me jealous! All our Disney stores closed over the last couple of years.

I think there will be plenty of DISers there to get a picture!!

You might want to be careful before the wedding and cruise - because a picture of you falling into the lagoon would be PRICELESS!! :teeth:

Poor Nick! Fireworks used to do that to all my kids as well. Thankfully they all grew into them and are now pyromaniacs! I really have to watch them carefully, or they will try to light all our fireworks by themselves.

I'm kind of excited for the 4th! This is the first year in about 8 years that Alan doesn't have to work (the station had him covering fires on his vacation last week, so they're making it up to him), so we are going to take the kids to the Grand Parade in Provo. It's a really big parade and the kids are so excited! They all have new 4th of July clothes, and, of course, Crocs!!! They will be stylin' and comfortable as well.

After the parade, we are driving to some friends house for an afternoon barbeque and Dutch oven meal! I've been asked to make dessert, so I'm going to make a Banana crumble. Yummy! I can make it sugar free so I can have a taste! Exciting.

After our afternoon, we'll drive home for some "driveway fire" time and then to our "secret spot" to watch the town fireworks. It should be a really fun day!

Hi, gang!

Long time, no talk - I have missed everyone, but my life is still pretty crazy right now. I do have some good news though - I'm about half way through my summer from heck, I finally got up my pics from our travels with Andy on the PM thread...and take a look at my tickers below! :cheer2: DH didn't bat an eye when I told him late last Sunday that I wanted to book us a quick trip w/ free dining for my b-day, and then just smiled when I said "oh, and btw, I've got a villa booked for us in Dec.!" He has yet to outright admit it, but he misses WDW as much as I do!!!

How is everyone? I've actually had the chance to take a bit of a breather this weekend, although I do have to work tomorrow. DH is in Marianna, FL for a family reunion that wasn't until late today, so thus, I couldn't go. ( :p ) I spent some time doing stuff around the house, dreaming of my Disney trips, hanging out with friends, and then I also went and saw Cars this afternoon. I can't quite decide what I thought of it - the animation was downright amazing, but I just didn't find it nearly as clever and endearing as the majority of the other Pixar fimls.

I'll try to go back a few pages, but there is no way I can go all the way back to catch up - I don't even remember where I left off! Know that I've been thinking of all of you, and hope to be around a bit more often!

Welcome back.

Deb

Mom is back in the hospital. Its a bacterial infection, they say its either from her port or the lining of her heart.

Poor little dear. :grouphug: Zack used to be terrified of the noise. This year at DL he didn't get as upset so I think he's growing out of it. We'll find out on the 4th. :confused3 Otherwise it sounds like a lovely party. :wizard: for the rest of the week with all the FW.
