We have meets on Wednesdays. This is our first year doing it. Christopher LOVES it!!lmartin2711 said:I didn't know ya'll also did swim team!!! Do you have swim meets on Thursday nights??
My vote still goes for Caroline Elizabeth![]()

We're trying to find a balance between individual and team sports too. I like swim team because they can race for their personal best and they can race for the team in the relays. We're seriously considering putting him in year round swimming.lmartin2711 said:Congrats on the 1st place ribbon. My boys really enjoy swim team. They enjoy team sports but I like it when they can excel in individual sports also. Alex's favorite are the rainbow ribbons. He gets them after a swim meet if he beats his own personal best time. Those he really loves!!

I am sure you got some good answers, but my DH got me a Kodak easy share and I love it. since I have a son who can do a lot of things with a computer, he can scan the pictures I want and print them. If not, I would have gotten a printer as well.
legalslave said:Hi Everyone. I have caught up. I had quite a few pages to read as I've been working late the past couple of nights. I can't possibly remember everyone individually, so I am going to post a collectiveto everyone who needs one, and
to everyone who needs congrats, and
to all.
The brief I've been working overtime on will finally be going out the door to the printer's tomorrow, so then I'll have my own reason for celebrating.
I came home tonight after working late and walked into a house that had just been vacuumed, the kitchen floor had been mopped, the litter box emptied and the trash taken out! I wasn't looking forward to having to any of that, so it was a great surprise (oh, and the lawn was mowed). It was Melanie and her friend Debbie. Melanie cleaned while Debbie cut the grass. So I had a chance to catch up with all of you.

Tonight there was a deer in our backyard - and my kids got so excited that Bambi was actually in our yard - I asked him if they wanted him for a pet - and they said no
so at bedtime I told them if they didn't stay in bed - I was going to get Bambi to come stay with them in their rooms - Julia took it with a grain of salt but ran back up - Nick took off back upstairs as quick as I have ever seen him run
about 10 minutes later - Julia got out of bed and Nick got HYSTERICAL - "no - Mommy will get Bambi" Julia yells down - Mommy you can't get Bambi - he has a Mommy and Daddy waiting for him somewhere - I promised her I would not get Bambi
well I have traumatized Nick - he is in bed - has not moved and even after I told him that deers would be a horrible pet and that I would never bring a deer in our house
So I guess when Nick is an adult and has an unnatural fear of deer it will be all my fault!!! I thought they would think it was funny at the idea of having a deer for their pet/nanny - Julia actually did but poor little Nick is afraid Bambi will eat him!!!
) Nick and I can be therapy buddies....I have an unnatural dislike of deer too......I had a fawn chew at my panties while I was feeding it's sibling at a sanctuary. I can't watch Bambi....scares the bejeebers out of me. Though I did like Bambi II.

my3princes said:With all the sad news last night I forgot to post about Hunter's last game of the season. He plays Rec league so the games are more like scrimages, but to him it was a huge game. In the first inning he was playing second base. With one out he caugt a pop fly and tagged second base to make a double play. He was so proud of himself. Because of his great outfielding the couches picked him to be up first. He had a good hit and made it to second base. He scored the first run for his team. 2nd inning he had a nice play at short stop. They reversed the batting order so he was up last. Another nice hit and he drove in a run. Third inning. His best friend was at bat and he hit a line drive to Hunter at third base. He fielded it and tagged 3rd base to get the last out of the inning. He was up first again and made it to second, then scored another run. We don't really keep score, but I know that Hunter's team killed the other team. Hunter's team batted through their order all 3 innings and the other team got 3 outs before batting through their batting order.![]()
My parents were both there and Chris's Mom, boyfriend and aunt came too. He was so happy, a very nice ending to a short season. He was floating on
Next year they will play against neighboring towns, although we may put him in lacrosse instead.

Good job Hunter. It sounds like a great game.Wow cool We got married Dec. 6. I wanted a Christmas wedding but this was as close to Christmas as we could get and keep peace. (Both families had issues with dates I was choosing) We still did Christmas colors deep burgundy red and a slightly dark emerald green. I'll never forget the week before all the baking. I decided to leave christmas cookie baskets in all the rooms for the guests and I underestimated how hard it would be to bake for over a hundred versus a family.julia & nicks mom said:My anniversary is in December of 2007 too!!! What day did you get married?
I always feel so bad for you up posting alone late at night!!! I know to you it isn't late but we are all usually in bed by then!!
I think POR is really pretty!!!
I made gingersnaps, chocolate shortbread, sugar, mexican cinnamon, and peanut butter with hershey kisses and then peppermint fudge. Wouldn't you know all night I was writing down the recipe for that fudge.
Still I love Christmas weddings and would do it all over again. When was your date?

Yesterday its Katie has passed and today its mil SIL (the one in MI who has cervical cancer) has been given two weeks to two years. *** is going on!!!!
I know God has a plan and we have no clue what it is, but honestly! This is a bit much for two days. I had decided this morning that I would put my tears aside for Katie and make the day the best we could because you should live everyday to the fullest and then we get another crappy phone call. Thats it!!!! I am not answering the phone again today or tomorrow!!! Maybe I should just have the stupid thing disconnected, ok thats not reality but wow am I done with sad news.
So here some my feelings as of now

Thank you for reading this and letting me vent.
Prayers for peace and understanding. I am so sorry that you are having such a trying couple of days.I like the metal ones especially given the theme of your shower.mommy2emmersNmo said:So remember the baby shower you all were helping me with a few weeks ago, well I gave my girlfriend the task of coming up with the wording for the invites and this is it:
Because one daughter was so much fun,
Dana and Kevin thought theyd have another one!
New baby girl K**** is on the way
So we thought wed help prepare for the big day;
Its a Pamper party to start the fun
Diapers are requested for the little one
Please bring a pack of diapers, any size from 1 4
Because the thing with diapers is that youll always need more.
Or if diapers as a gift just isnt your thing
Something to pamper mom is what you could bring;
Come celebrate the arrival of baby number two
On this day we will have lots of fun, we hope to see you.
Isn't that awesome! She said she looked at some of the invitation websites and kind of pulled it all together and she didn;t think it was all that good. Then we were talking about favors and I starting looking around the web and found these:
![]()
They are Diaper Pails and what makes it cool is that the favor from her 1st shower was a candle one as well to light when the baby was born. Now the question is do I do the metal one or pink ones, they are the same price?

A little back ground. MY brother and his ex girl friend have a son together. she also had a son when she started dating my Brother. they broke up and she moved out in Dec. My mom watches the boys from 1:30 p.m. til my brother gets off work at arounf 5 p.m.
Well Monday night he stayed late at our parents house working on his truck. so my mom took him home to shower and then drove him over to her place so he could put the kids to bed. THe ex had to stay late at work because they were coming to wax the floor at the store and they had to do it after the store closed. so she got home around 2 am. My brother then walked the mile to his house. and went to bed. When my Dad went to pick him up yesterday morn. Their was a note taped to his door. It said for him to stay away from R**** and the kids or else.Well last night my mom took him by his house to turn on the AC before she took him to R's house with the boys. She gets home and he walks home. their is a note on his door again this one saying DO you know what I am going to do to you?About an hour later one of his friends called and he walked outside to talk on his cell phone to her because he does not get good reception in his house and their is another note taped to his door. This one said BOOM YOUR DEAD. after this one he finally called the cops. He told R**** about the first note and she said she would tell one of her cop friends about it. but he was off duty.
I am really worried about my brother. I am so hoping the cops find this person before he does. The cops said that these are considered terroistic threats.
I sincerely hope the cops can get this straightened out.
Prayers for your brother and his safety.my3princes said:Hunter just got home from school. The first thing he asked me was "Do you really think I did a good job last night". My answer was to read my post to him and all of your responses. This is Hunter now(minus a couple of teeth
) Thanks for helping make his day special.
Nick came home from school with a note today. My reaction was on no as school is out tomorrow, it must be bad right? Wrong. It was a note that he wrote to me thanking me for all I do for him. I absolutely didn't expect it. What a nice boy. So this is me(I have all my teeth
)
