"Disney officials are promising something spectacular that will almost immediately follow the conclusion of the company's year-long Happiest Celebration on Earth this September. On June 7, Disney will announce the specifics at a meeting in New York City. For now, Disney spokeswoman Vicki Johnson said the "something special" set for early October "will not be an event...[but] something special to do with our resorts and people traveling there." She then added, "I can't give away too much." The Happiest Celebration on Earth is the year-long commemoration of Disney World, Anaheim's, 50th anniversary. (MJ) "

Hi, all.

We just got home! Rees did fabulously. John and I are so proud of him.

Rees never had any pain except last night at 3am. Dr. Wulkan said we will get the pathology reports back tomorrow on the gallbladder. Rees is supposed to take it easy for a few days and then should be 100%. Please keep him your prayers that this cures all his pain. Dr. Wulkan said the next step would be to repair Rees' esophagus and repair the Fundo.

Thank you so much for the emails, calls, and, most importantly, the prayers. I will keep you all posted with any updates. Off to unpack, play with the kids, do laundry, etc.

Oh, and please send PD and prayers my way for my interview tomorrow morning at 10am.​

Thanks, everyone, for all of the birthday wishes. This is the first chance I've had to get on and post. My daughter and granddaughter were here until around 9:00, then I started to read, and then my son called. Just got off the phone with him. It was a good day, and it was wonderful to get so many well wishes from everyone on here. You're all the best!

Ooh! I'm watching a new Hallmark movie called "Where There's a Will". Guess what the old lady (Marion Ross the mother from Happy Days) of the show has on??!! She has tennis shoes with lights on the back!!! They are so wonderful. She doesn't look like she has tiny feet. I think I have to do some internet surfing now!

It looks great on you. My hair is thin, flat and straight too. I haven't had a perm in years though, and am very afraid to get one. With the humidity here in VA I'm afraid it would frizz out in the summer. But which is worse, frizz or flat?? Between the money I spend on cuts and coloring, thought, I don't know if I want to add on any more for a perm. I have Disney trips to pay for!!

My hair is flat, thin and straight too, that's why I just got a perm. I can't imagine summer without a perm. I would look horrible most of the time as I live in the pool during the summer months I'm finally getting a handle on my new hairdo. It always takes awhile to adjust and learn how to make it look it's best.
