Good Evening Everyone,
I just wanted to stop by and say hello, well the
reception has come and gone, it turned out very nice and was a lot of work but I'm glad we did it, she deserved some recognition for all her hard work.
I'll post a few more pics later but here's one of my DD and grandson the night of the reception, as you can see I've been playing with the border idea from the other thread.

Debbie

Great pictures! Both my girls have blue eyes and only my MIL has blue eyes.
Funny all 4 of my boys have blue eyes but DH and I have hazel and for a wile DH was starting to wonder than he met my grandpa who has pale blue eyes and we figured out where they came from. It's just weird how all 4 got them from their great-grandpa.

We're close to a milestone, so tonight's discussion is: Let's all share the public places where your child has vomited!

Tonight, Alyssa threw up as soon as we walked into CVS Pharmacy and yes, their flooring is carpeted. I think she was just car sick, since we went after dinner, and she's had a clear runny nose for a couple days, so that probably didn't help her tummy. Boy, what a mess!

I cleaned up most of it, but I am happy to report that the female teenage employee who got stuck helping me was very gracious. :thumbsup2

Amy
Poor Alyssa. :grouphug: I hope she is doing better.

Love to see pics, we have had a cat5 and cat 6 on the Magic, love the veiw but just never spent enought time on the balcony to warrant it as I would rather cruise more often.
If you change the skin of this board to Disney Cruise Line, you'll see a link at the top for staterooms (or just visit www.wdwinfo.com and search for it that way). This shows you the difference between the Navigators and the "regular" balconies.

Kate - I see your siggie change...getting swamped or is it your summer vacation? :teeth:

Update on my knee surgery. My physical therapist said everything looked great today. I have good movement and if all continues I should be back to walking normally within a few weeks.
:cheer2: Glad everything is healing correctly. :wizard: that it continues improving.

My mother is driving home from Las Vegas today! Her new winter home is there (after two years the paperwork finally went through!!!) and now she's coming back to her summer home in Geneva on the Lake aka camper. She's currently in Grants NM and calling me for hotel information ALL THE TIME!

Okay a quick update,
Olivia was feeling better on Sunday so we decided not to take her to the Dr. Instead I ended up going to the Doctor myself. I woke up at 7 with a severe headache. I took my migraine medicine
An hour later it had not gone away and when I took my temp it was 101.3. So I arrive at my appointment. The Dr sees me he asks me if this is the worse Headache I have ever had I said yes my migraines compared to this one is a 7 out of 10 on pain scale this one was a 10. So they give me 50 mg of Demerol and 25 mg of Phenergan. No change in HA. Then they sent me to the ER for evaluation.

So I arrive at the ER at 11am they admit me start an IV give me 5 mg morphine and waiting for a CT Scan. The first dose of Morphine did not touch the HA so on comes the second dose of 5mg of Morphine. Drops it down to a 8 on the pain scale. Chest x-ray done. Lumbar puncture done.
Since I still have HA I am given Dilaudid and phenergan. Eased the HA to a 6on pain scale. The ER Dr. decides to admit me this is about 4 pm. The admitting Dr finally gets their to see me around 8pm at 6pm I was given more Dilaudid because the HA was back to a 9. Finally get to a room at 11pm. Then down to MRI for an MRI and MRA of the Brain and an MRI of the neck. I have swollen tonsils strep. test negative. Lumbar puncture negative. Chest x-ray negative. MRI’s and MRA are all negative. HA was down to a 3 this AM. They gave me some Advil 600mg and I got to eat and have a COKE. The Dr. finally saw me at 1pm we finally got out of the hospital at 3:30pm went to my mom’s to get Olivia.
This was the first time Olivia had stayed the night with anyone. She sleeps in bed with Jeff and I, I am trying to figure out how to break her of it. SO I was really concerned about her but she and my mom slept on an air matress in their living room.
Okay well that’s it for tonight. Going to take my antibiotic and go to bed so Jeff can have the computer
:grouphug: :wizard: hopefully you're better now.

Everything is printed for Wednesday night, I just gotta gather everything together. I'll do that tomorrow night after my meeting.

But I could use pixie dust for no rain as they are calling for a 40% chance of rain on Wednesday night and this is supposed to be outside in a park and the place we would have to have it inside is really crummy.
Sending lots of :sunny: .

I'm still around...Kevin and I were discussing furniture arrangements for the new house. He has all these graph paper "rooms" and furniture cut out to scale. Very impressive, but very overwhelming.
:rotfl: Does he happen to be a perfectionist? I've never heard of that idea before.

Great news about Rees, hope all stays well and he won't need any more surgery. :wizard:

:wizard: :wizard: For your interview tomorrow.

Hi, all.

We just got home! Rees did fabulously. John and I are so proud of him.

Rees never had any pain except last night at 3am. Dr. Wulkan said we will get the pathology reports back tomorrow on the gallbladder. Rees is supposed to take it easy for a few days and then should be 100%. Please keep him your prayers that this cures all his pain. Dr. Wulkan said the next step would be to repair Rees' esophagus and repair the Fundo.

Thank you so much for the emails, calls, and, most importantly, the prayers. I will keep you all posted with any updates. Off to unpack, play with the kids, do laundry, etc.

Oh, and please send PD and prayers my way for my interview tomorrow morning at 10am.

Baloo good to see you. Hope things continue to go better with your mom.
Hopefully your son dosen't get too bored waiting for his step brother to come and play.

Still not caught up reading all the posts...Hope everyone is doing well.

Daniel's first trip to a Mets game went great...Mets didn't win (score was 7-6 SF Giants in 12 innings) but what a good game! He was so excited watching the game. When Jose Reyes came up to bat, he went crazy. When he saw David Wright for the first time he was jumping up & down. Daniel just had the best time..the game ran over 4 hours & he watched every at bat with excitement. Didn't want to leave & wasn't happy the Mets lost.
Thanks for all his birthday wishes..he got a kick out of seeing all the posts for him here on the DDA. :)
