Hello DDA!

I just read over 50 pages. Congrats and pixie dust to all who need them. Great pics too! Now I forget, is it Kate we're supposed to send our address to for the DDA list?

We're back from Vegas. Didn't get to go to the outlet store. Had a good time with friends though. Dummy me just packed my dress shoes and my sandals. I figured I didn't want to wear tennis shoes and socks in 100 degree weather, but didn't figure on all the walking we did. Craig forgot his black dress pants so he went to the wedding in shorts. Anyway, we had fun. Now back to the real world where it's raining .

Glad you had fun inspite of forgeting a few things.

Hope everyone had a good day - we've been to the seaside It's a place called Weston Super Mare - but is known by the locals as Weston Super Mud... because usually the sea is so far out you can only see mud

It was very windy! We walked along the sea front and then played miniature golf {DH beat me AGAIN... I will beat him one day } then we had chips from the fish and chip shop - which are the tastiest chips

We were supposed to go to the movies tonight to see Xmen 3 but after all the fresh air I crashed out when we got home and slept for a couple of hours instead! - so we're watching the repeat of the AI final and playing a board game.

Here's Weston's answer to the tea cups! And you can see the pier in the background (which is full of fruit machines and other games like car racing games)

Yes, it is Kate that you send any contact info you feel comfortable sending. I sent her my address and phone number. That way she has the info if we need to check on someone.

hmm yes I found this out in 2003 when I remembered a row number that doesn't actually exist at the AK! I asked the guy at the back of the tram and he looked it up for me

That was the same week we went to the AK and DH locked his keys in the trunk! We were putting ponchos on and he put the keys down and then closed the trunk... oops! Luckily we hadn't locked the doors and I crawled through and rescued them

Now that's something I want a picture of. Clare crawling through to the trunk to rescue the keys.

Hi DDA! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. We are getting ready to go next door for a cookout/swim. I just finished making linguini salad and brownies. The kids are out back on the slip-n-slide. The weather here is in the 80's. I'll check in later.

Hmm Last trip our car had a release inside the boot for if you got locked in the trunk... I felt safe knowing if I got kidnapped and bundled in the trunk I could escape That's what I call attention to detail!

Clare -- thanks for sharing the pictures! Someday we'll get to the UK... it's way up towards the top of our list! Your hair looks good, too! I don't remember it being that red from your wedding, right? I'm not crazy? I love the color and cut, though!

I was kind of coming down with something but I think the heat is just making me feel even worse! And it isn't even summer yet! I hardly even touched my food at lunch, so hopefully it will make for good leftovers

Congrats! I'm here checking in off & on all day. We just finished dinner - grilled chicken, grilled corn on the cob, with ranch & bacon salad. Yum!!!! We are now going to watch Brother Bear. We've never seen it.

I was going to say that I'll be there. I still haven't book air yet but it looks like 8/23 to 8/30. SO I think we would have qualified but now I see you had to change your dates. Anne Marie - is there a 3rd? I see that June will be there 8/30 but we'll be leaving that day.

We're there August 12-26.
