I know that feeling of never being caught up on this thread. I'm still here just working on assembling things. These are two of the many projects I have been working on.

Award Flower pots with Girls names on them. I have to reattach the patches to the sticks as they were all falling off.

Good morning DDA!

I didn't sleep well last night. We had a very loud storm last night. Thunder & lightning most of the night. I felt bad for Chuck because he put out ant killer last night and I'm sure it all washed away and he'll have to redo it.

We had to take our cat Charlie to the vet this week... on Sunday morning he peed on our floor length curtains and I had a fit! Then later on he peed on a pair of socks that I'd dropped after doing laundry... I thought he was being naughty... Then on Tuesday night he just wondered round the room crying and squatting down on anything on the floor... like the newspaper, or some papers I bought home from work... we had to keep grabbing him and running him up to the litter tray... poor thing. We took him to the vets on Wed am and he has cystitus (sp) apparently it's common in male cats after something stressful happens (probably the arrival of our new sofas!!) So he's on meds and is back to his old self! Apparently once he gets it once it's likely to recur, and we have to watch him because if he ever can't pee it's life threatening and we have to take him to the vets immediately even if its the middle of the night!!!

Phew! Tuesday was a stressful evening and made me think of how on earth you all manage with sick kiddos!
Clare I hope charlie gets well soon.

Kind of.... except I don't WANT any more this size!! :rotfl: Not to mention the fact that I'll have to be more selective, which equals more money (I'm assuming). I'd rather spend the money on something fun DURING the trip!
I so understand about not wanting to buy any more of a certain size.

Jennifer.......from one nurse to another........if you haven't taken your NCLEX yet don't stress too much. It's really not that bad.
I send you lots of pixiedust: in the hopes you will do well & also that you have a wonderful cruise (and that you find your bathing suits :lmao: ).
Jennifer I agree. When I took my NCLEX i had one of Nclex books I just did the questions in it. I had 135 questions and passed. some of my friends had more some less. we all passed. just rember to read all of the question and all of the answer before you choose. Try to get a good nights sleep before your test and rember to eat a good meal before you test.

You will do great!!!

Becky-

Those are wonderful pots!!

Deb-

Sorry your work last night was so pooey. I have had a rough couple days both at work and home and can so understand the feeling of being the scape goat. Good for you for standing up to your boss!!

For those who cleaned yesterday: I was doing that too yesterday!! We will do some today and tomorrow and then we will start the flylady 15.

We went and saw Over the Hedge....wasn't my cup of tea but the kids liked it.(but I also didn't feel so good) We then stayed for MI 3 and it was pretty good. Lots of bad words...couldn't believe it was just PG13. The bad part was the car next to us was talking the entire time and I believe they were smoking something other than cigarettes but I can't be 100% sure. I do believe our drive in is staying put though!! and hopefully with the full lots we saw last night means there will be more family friendly. :cheer2:

:wave2: Hi All! I think I'm still recovering from my trip! It was wonderful but exhausting.

I just finished reading about 150 pages that I missed. :grouphug: and :wizard: to all.

Paula-LOVED your photos! WOW!!!

Amy-congrats on you new home and continued :wizard: for selling your old one. I think your DDA friends are CRAZY. Have they seen the photos of you? You couldn't have 2 babies in there!

Janet-prayers for you, your DS and the coach's family.

I've got lots of other catching up to do. I'm still working on uploading photos. Now that I'm caught up here, I'll work on a trip report.

We will be in WDW Aug 20-26th. I think Anne Marie will be there in August too, not sure of the dates. Do you think that would qualify for pillowcases if we planned a get together! :goodvibes

I was going to say that I'll be there. I still haven't book air yet but it looks like 8/23 to 8/30. SO I think we would have qualified but now I see you had to change your dates. Anne Marie - is there a 3rd? I see that June will be there 8/30 but we'll be leaving that day.

June's post that her firm decided to take off July 3rd brings up a debate I've been having with myself. I want to close our office that day, but was wondering how many other corporate businesses would be off that day. I know retail has to be open on the 3rd, but who else will be getting July 3rd as an extra holiday this year?

My company (a non profit) has given us the day off too.

Tell him to call me if they have anyone bail out at the last minute! I can be at the ballpark in about an hour! ;)

When I first read that I thought you were offering to bail him out if he got in trouble and I wondered what you thought the kitchensinkguy might be doing but then I read it right.

Deb-hope he had a great time at the game. Sounds like he must have had a better night than you. BTW...your boys are very handsome!

Your pictures are GREAT! My friend just got back too and she said that she NEVER saw a Photo Pass person...and I've also heard people say that you can't personalize the CD's anymore...but looks like they were wrong! (Unless I skimmed Kates post too fast...)

Chanon-I was told when I asked Fri 5/19 that they had stopped doing the extras (signatures, park logos....) on Wed 5/17 that it was taking too much time. I asked at Epcot and again when I purchased the CD on Tue 5/23 in Toon Town.

I was going to tell you that for me it would have been worth the money to upgrade to POR. I really enjoyed POP but there are lots of people everywhere and POFQ was just so relaxing so for a 7 or 8 night trip I would enjoy a moderate BUT...now with fuller discloser on your part the financial analyst in me must now tell that the extra $450 of so MUST go to paying off your CC. You can certainly have a GREAT trip staying at POP. The room was clean, the food court was fine (LOVED the frozen coke as part of the refillable mug-that alone is almost worth the stay), the busses were fine (but always crowded) and the staff was always friendly. I will definately stay there again.

The photopass was NOWHERE to be found.

I too had a photopass problem. When we went to Character connection at Epcot we saw Mickey, Pluto and Minnie. The adult in front of us at Chip & Dale spent forever with them. I don’t have a problem with adults (I saw Mickey on my adult trip) but she spent over ½ an hour with them. The photographer asked me for my card and I told him I had already given it to him. He insisted I hadn't and gave us a new card. I went right to the photoshop in Epcot and they did find our missing card and sure enough on that pass there was Lizzie with Mickey, Pluto, and Minnie (and photos from my adult trip) and one of the adult with Chip & Dale and that same girl with Goofy. The person at the photoshop said it would take about 3 hours to transfer my photos to the new card. I checked the next night and they were on my new card. After that I took a photo of my photopass card with my digital camera so I'd have the number. And after having a bit of difficulty finding our car at AK I took a photo of the parking lot row number at Epcot.

Also, the crowds in general just walking around didn't seem too bad either, IMO.

I must have gone to the wrong parks because I thought it was relatively crowded-especially compared to early May.

I will work on a trip report. Sorry I missed you guys. My friend had come to visit Saturday with her DD and they wanted to try EE but then her DD chickened out at the last minute. Lizzie LOVED it! We did go to Epcot Sat night but you guys were already heading for MK. Lizzie & I went back to AK on Sun to ride EE 2 more times. We kept an eye out for Paul & Matt but didn’t see them.

Kate- :grouphug: hope some of stressers settle down.

Well, my Joe is having a meltdown so I better go see what's going on with him.
