I am all caught up now.
I went to Emmas Parent Teacher conference yesterday. I am so proud of her; she is right where she needs to be if not ahead of the game. We are to keep a summer journal to give her chances to write. Pal Mickey will make that fun for her. Her teacher told me that Emma is the only child in the class that she will play a board game with as Emma is the only one who knows that games have rules and that you have to follow them. The best thing I heard was that is able now to solve problems with her classmates by herself. In the beginning of the year she would get easily upset and run to the teacher crying when she had a problem with a friend. Now she is telling them that I dont like it when you do that, it makes me upset and please stop That is a big accomplishment for her!
After the conference Molly and I went to my Parents for dinner. We took Molly to the park and she had her first snowball. Tonight I am going out to dinner with Eric's grandmother, Baba. My FIL flew to Boston this morning as he was able to get out of work today. My MIL works tonight so I think Baba feels sorry for me. I hate cooking and usually Eric does most of it. I will take anyone's pity if it means I don't have to cook.
