night all my friend just called and she is off work so I am going to go 2 houses down and visit with her. we havent had days off together in over 2 months. so I will chat with you all tomorrow.

With Chuck being in pain and our anniversary, I forgot that the December hours were released on June 1st. I am so excited. I can now start planning our trip. It doesn't help that Kristine keeps booking these really cool grand gathering events that I want to try to attend! :lmao: They sound really cool. We are definitely doing the wishes cruise!

Today was an exhausting day. Poor Alyssa has a diaper rash, so she was rather cranky and I spent most of the day cleaning, which makes me cranky too. At 1:30 p.m. Remax called to ask if a realtor could show the house in an hour. As much as I hated saying it, I had to say no...first, Alyssa would be napping and second, I was still trying to get the house looking decent. When I told Kevin later that I said no, he wasn't too pleased, but for crying out loud, an hour's notice?!!!

So, around 5:30 p.m. I'm making dinner (the showing wasn't until 8:15 p.m. so there was plenty of time to do this) and the phone rings. Remax again...someone wants to see the house now. In fact, they are parked next door waiting for the okay! So, Kevin says fine, but please understand the animals are here, I'm making dinner, etc. The realtor was very nice and he spoke highly of the house as he walked through. They must have been out looking at other houses and decided to stop by. The man he was showing around spoke no English, and we heard the realtor speaking Spanish to him throughout their tour.

Okay, so we eat dinner, and I vacuum one more time. We lock Lucy (evil cat)up in her cage, Kevin takes Libby (dog) to the new house, and I take Alyssa to Home Depot. On my way home, I drive by at 8:35 p.m. and there's no one in the driveway. I call Kevin and tell him I'm just going to get Alyssa ready for bed. He comes home about 10 minutes later. At 8:55 p.m. the doorbell rings!!! They were very apologetic for being so late. This time it was a young woman who works at Children's Hospital. She took lots of pictures. This realtor was very nice and complimentary too. They left around 9:15 p.m. and now here I am, telling you my saga!

Though I hope the house sells ASAP, it will be nice to be all moved in to our new house and not have to worry about these showings! Whew, what a day!
:wizard: that the house sells fast. I can understand why you said no. Alyssa needs her beauty sleep.

Denise, congratulations on your new job! I never found much in the way of Disney classroom decor, but I can tell you from shopping for Alyssa's and Matthew's rooms, that Home Depot has some neat removable adhesives (princesses, Pooh, Mickey and friends, Nemo, Tinkerbell, and Cars). I also made a lot of my own Disney mini-motivational posters and laminated them.

Jennifer, I hope you are feeling better soon!

Paula, great pictures!

Amy -- It sounds like you are glad this day is over. PD to Alyssa. :wizard:

Paula -- cute pictures of you and the kids!

Jennifer -- sorry to hear about your tooth. Here's some PD that you feel better, and for the tooth extraction! :wizard:

Hey, that fannypack thread that June told us about is getting pretty heated!

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1129890&page=1&pp=15

Vicki and Clare posted on it too! :)

I couldn't resist. That woman made me  with her:
"If you start wearing those horrible fanny bags you know what's next?
matching lime green shirts, bright colored crocks, elastic waist bands, socks with sandals, mister fans and bottles hanging from your belt and flip up sunglasses.....Do you really want to go there? I mean really, life is too short to walk around like that, no matter where you are."

She really thinks she's all that and has continued her attacks so now she has made me :furious: and it's all I can do not to post again! :lmao:

Hey, I've already said that I'll stop buying after this auction ends. I really, really want this one though - more than I wanted the convertible. It is a Tigger Disney Water Baby. I'm told by another Pal Mickey fashion dresser :lmao: that the outfit fits Pal Mickey. Won't that make a cute Halloween costume for him?? Tigger is my favoritest character of all time. That's why Pal Mickey has a Tigger buddy. I bought a dalmations water baby outfit a week ago but it hasn't arrived yet. I couldn't resist as that is what my girls dressed up as when they were little. They loved the 101 dalmations.

We have 2 Mickey and one Pooh Water babies. I haven'd check to see if the outfits fit PM. I guess I might have too now.

Hi, all. Jennifer, hope you are feeling better soon and that Friday fixes you up. You're in my prayers.

Amy, sorry today was so long. Sending PD for the house.

Julia, welcome home. Loved the pics, especially the Stitch one. Your DD looks just like you!

Called the surgeon and the report isn't back yet. He'll call when it is ready. Rees is doing awesome. You would never know he even had surgery.

I'm headed to the desktop to download the pics. Be back in a minute.

Hope I didn't miss anything else. I just scanned the last few pages.

I've been told that they fit. His feet don't fit right in the feet of the costumes but they work. Let me know what you find out! I've seen pictures of a Pal in a Tigger costume and I've been told by the same lady that the Dumbo one is really cute on them. She's also got one other one but I don't remember which one.

Sorry to hear that isn't any news. How is Rees doing? How are the rest of the figs? Are you all getting some much needed R&R after the stress of the last couple of weeks?

Hey all -

I couldn't resist posting on the bag thread!!!

Jennifer - you have had a rough week - I hope all goes well Friday and you get a relaxing weekend!

Amy - I am glad to hear traffic is picking up!! I dread having to sell my house and keeping it ready to show!!!! I hope it sells soon!! The girl from the hospital sounds promising!! I think pictures is ALWAYS a good thing!!!

How do the little tees and sweatshirt fit PM? Can you post pictures sometime? I like the little bit larger shirts which will also fit the smaller build a bears but I got these to try them and see how they work. Let me know what you think.

I'm really glad they like them. I wanted to do something special for them since you were instrumental in getting Denise her PM & getting it to her before Rees had his surgery. Plus, all the designing that you do for everyone and for starting the PDF and for rushing my PM off to Julia for their trip and .... all the other things. Thanks!

Ok, Becky needs some pixiedust tomorrow. She is taking her drivers test to get her real license. She just wasn't ready before but the last couple of months has really wanted to drive and has done so every chance she could. The only thing I'm really worried about is the parallel parking. We don't have much of that here so it is hard to practice. We'll be spending a few hours practicing in the morning. I'll set some stakes up in the driveway. She spent 1/2 hour just driving down and backing up our driveway getting used to the feel of backing up. It was amazing how much she improved in just that 1/2 hour. There is a selfish side of me that hopes she won't pass but then the real mom side wants her to accomplish this!!!!!

Congratulations Denise that is awesome. :cool1: :cool1: You will have so much fun Disney theming your room.

Paula, Glad that you dropped by if even temporarily. I hope things slow down for you soon.

Are you sure parallel parking is on the exam...it was not for Jonathan..and it was not for me when I took it MANY years ago...
