Bob is a mutual friend of mine & Teresa's. The little girl in the picture is my daughter and the little boy is Bob's.

He is from Michigan City Indiana originally and has lived in Houghton Michigan since 1977 or 78. For those of you that might not have seen my news because you haven't been able to keep up with the thread, Teresa & I found each other again on this thread a week ago. Her DH, Bob, his wife, Chuck & I were all friends at Michigan Technological University. We met Teresa at my house in Holland MI when she started dating her DH after we all left school. We had lost touch when my kids were born and I stopped sending Christmas cards. I sent her a pm when I saw she was from Michigan and we ended up realizing that we were long lost friends.

Now that is a really cool story... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Okay my dentist takes one look at my tooth does some other test and says yes it must come out. but it iss a sideways impaction so it will not come out in one piece and as your a red head I am not sure I can get you numb enough. so he sends me to an oral surgeon. who then sechudles an appointment for 8:45 friday morn. the cough and shortness of breath has not gotten better. the stuff i am coughing up has color now. so I called in to work for tomorrow and will see my primary Dr some time tomorrow.
I am diaspointed as I was supposed to go to Port Aransas this weekend for my cousins baby shower.

Now, darling I can find you a Tigger water baby at Target if you don't win that auction!!

PS-thanks for the package......but really passing your stuff on does not mean you need less of an intervention!! :teeth:

Ooh, you did get it! I've been sitting on pins & needles wondering if you had received it yet! :lmao: What did the girls think?

What does this mean? :confused3

It means that the tooth is not straight up and down but is at an angle. Not sure why red heads are hard to get numb enough though. My old dentist always got me numb enough to do fillings.

I will be given IV sedation on friday so proabbly will not be on that day at all.

They don't have a Tigger water baby at our Target. I won't go any higher on my bid. If I get it, it would be about the same as you buying it and shipping it. We have Sesame street water babies at our target which are also adorable. They are $15. Next time you are at Target, see if they have one and let me know how much they are. If they have a Piglet, please buy it for me and I'll reimburse you. Piglet is Becky's favorite after Tinker Bell.

Jennifer,

My DH had his wisdom tooth in sideways too. They put him under & he was done within the morning. They had to take out a few but once it was done he felt so much better. Hope all goes well at the Dr & the oral surgeon.

Yea, what does that red head comment mean? Funny, my SIL is a red head & when she was in labor with my niece she felt them cutting her for the c-section. They couldn't give her enough epidural so she had to have general anesthesia. Is there something to that? Hmmmm :confused3 Well feel better!!!

I am sure you guys can appreciate this....
I was almost 2 years behind in getting my photos into an album. I have been putting it off & finally today I sat down & put in 2 years of pictures with captions into my album. It was pouring today so it was a good excuse to get this done. I can't believe I let it go that long. The photos were all over the house so organizing them was a pain but now I am up to date! While I was looking at the pictures I realized how much my kids have changed in just one year....
congrats on getting all your pics in albums.

Thanks Vicki.

Could you just imagine?! :cloud9:

It sounds like someone new will get to sleep in Cinderella Castle at WDW and a Mickey room at DL every night after getting the royal treatment during the day! Now that is absolutely awesome!

I'd love to be a winner of one of those golden fastpasses.

I'm not sure I'm lucky enough to get either. I figure I don't have luck when it comes to things like that because I have such a magical life as it is. Leave the extra magic to others. However, this would definitely be me if I did win something. :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9::cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

That's what I was asking......what does having red hair have to do with how numb you become???? That would have been my first question for the dentist. I understood the part about your tooth being at an angle. :)

Sorry. I was not feeling good when I got their that I did not think to ask him. He was also worried because I had been in the hospital over the weekend he did not want to end up with me back in.

I'm sorry that you have to go through all of this. I hope they can figure out what to do for you and get it done, so you feel better! Maybe you can get some good drugs tomorrow. :teeth:

Today was an exhausting day. Poor Alyssa has a diaper rash, so she was rather cranky and I spent most of the day cleaning, which makes me cranky too. At 1:30 p.m. Remax called to ask if a realtor could show the house in an hour. As much as I hated saying it, I had to say no...first, Alyssa would be napping and second, I was still trying to get the house looking decent. When I told Kevin later that I said no, he wasn't too pleased, but for crying out loud, an hour's notice?!!!

So, around 5:30 p.m. I'm making dinner (the showing wasn't until 8:15 p.m. so there was plenty of time to do this) and the phone rings. Remax again...someone wants to see the house now. In fact, they are parked next door waiting for the okay! So, Kevin says fine, but please understand the animals are here, I'm making dinner, etc. The realtor was very nice and he spoke highly of the house as he walked through. They must have been out looking at other houses and decided to stop by. The man he was showing around spoke no English, and we heard the realtor speaking Spanish to him throughout their tour.

Okay, so we eat dinner, and I vacuum one more time. We lock Lucy (evil cat)up in her cage, Kevin takes Libby (dog) to the new house, and I take Alyssa to Home Depot. On my way home, I drive by at 8:35 p.m. and there's no one in the driveway. I call Kevin and tell him I'm just going to get Alyssa ready for bed. He comes home about 10 minutes later. At 8:55 p.m. the doorbell rings!!! They were very apologetic for being so late. This time it was a young woman who works at Children's Hospital. She took lots of pictures. This realtor was very nice and complimentary too. They left around 9:15 p.m. and now here I am, telling you my saga!

Though I hope the house sells ASAP, it will be nice to be all moved in to our new house and not have to worry about these showings! Whew, what a day!
