Thanks for the tips! May I ask how many you got from one batch of batter. I know I used way to much batter but they weren't "puffing up"

yesterday I got about 15 from one batch. I didn't use bisquick yesterday, though. I used a boxed pancake mix that you just add water to. They seemed heavier than the bisquick ones, but my kids still ate them. DH, too, once he got home from work.

I sell Tastefully Simple so the blueberry coffee cake is using one of their products. It will literally take me about 10 minutes from start to finish, not including the baking. Same thing with the Key lime cheesecake.

But I do have a Blueberry coffee cake and blueberry pound cake recipes that are in my opinion worth every ounce of effort. I will dig those out and pm them to you. But it probably won't be until Sunday.

I love mini cheesecakes and how can you go wrong with an Oreo version. What is in the moonbeam cookies? They sound intriguing (sp?)

I would love the recipes if it's not too much trouble.

The moonbeam cookies are a simple sugar cookie dough mixed with some coconut. Before baking you depress them with a thumbprint and fill with lemon curd. Bake them, then drizzle with white sugar and some sugar crystals for sparkle. I think I'll use some edible glitter on them.

They sounded really good, but then, I love anything with lemon. I'll let you know how they turn out.

I love the oreo cheesecakes since they are easy and taste like you spent hours on them. Love that.

hi everyone!
hope you all had a good friday!
We have a teacher at work that has been there ac ouple months and shes driving me nuts--leaving kids alone in the room, leaving me with too many (over ratio) just obnoxious..today, the parents started noticing so im going to have to talk to our boss next week..i hate that, but its ridiculous!!
Now, im home and being a bum :)
hope you all enjoy your weekend!

I am lucky, one time the kids would act up and DH would say never again. I too hope they grow out of it, for their own sake. :grouphug:

I would like the recipe for these, please. When you have the time. Thank you. :)

Sure. Let me make them tonight and we'll see if they are any good or not! I'm going to do some with lemon curd and some with lime curd. Wish me luck!

Um..... did you really mean 2004? I don't think we were there at the same time ;)

LOL!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

The sad thing is I distinctly remember typing 2005 this morning and changing it to 2004. So, I was a decade off!!!

I graduated in December 1994

And, I honestly can't remember what year I finished my masters. I'm thinking it was the same summer we got married: 1999.

Just you wait until you have pregnancy brain!!! ;)

Well, it's official. I need to stop cursing. The Donald Duck in me uses a few choice words during moments of frustration (break out the hot sauce Glynis!) and tonight, when Alyssa couldn't fit the crayons back in the box, well, she used one of those words...about six times before I realized what she was saying. Actually, Kevin picked up on it first, and since he swears once every two years, you know who got the blame.

Please, can I still swear here? ;)

Amy :)

Jennifer, you better get to work! You have until Sunday night to post 515 times to pass Kate! :teeth:

No hot sauce, here! Just another mother who has been there, done that! It's quite a shocking thing to hear it come from your angel's mouth, huh?

Yeah, that's worse than I thought ;)

I do try and be sort of nice, to avoid the repayment someday! :teeth:

Yes, my immediate reaction was to giggle like a teenager. That didn't please Kevin either. ;)

Well, I'm just lucky you missed the fact I typed 2004 AGAIN. Notice I had to edit my post. :teeth:

Amy
Good luck with the house.

Glynis
I can only say.
My house my rules.

This is a drive by post.

The girls and I went to Marine World today w/ Ellie's preschool and it was fun but your rain folks some how sent the rain back to the west coast. I have no idea how you did that, but it went from 90 to 70 in ONE day. :guilty:

DH is home for two nights and will be back to school on Sunday for four more days. :Pinkbounc

The he should be home for at least a few weeks to a month before he is gone again.

I have to work all day tomorrow so I wont get to post much, I hope I have access to read all the posts I have yet to read, the military doesn't care for us reading and posting on boards like this. (party poopers)pirate:

If anyone hears from Denise will you let he know I am looking to talk with her. I pm'd her, but she has not read it yet. Anyone with my home email can give her that also if you want. Thank you for this help.

I wish you all a good weekend!!!!:cool1:
