Well, it's official. I need to stop cursing. The Donald Duck in me uses a few choice words during moments of frustration (break out the hot sauce Glynis!) and tonight, when Alyssa couldn't fit the crayons back in the box, well, she used one of those words...about six times before I realized what she was saying. Actually, Kevin picked up on it first, and since he swears once every two years, you know who got the blame.

Please, can I still swear here? ;)

Amy :)

Do you still have the website you went to to find out which Disney character you were. If you are Donald Duck then I would love to find out who I am.....probably Mary Poppins :rotfl2:

Since we are still on the topic of "disciplining" children...

Did anyone else's parents have a set of a HUGE wooden spoon and fork hanging in their orange and yellow 70's kitchen?

...and you guys are NO HELP with hotel picking!!! But I looked at more pictures of Pop Century and have decided that I'm staying with Pop. Of course, I can still modify my reservation up until departure day, based on availability.
I've told myself that since the difference in the hotel is what is also on my Kohls charge, I'm only allowed to upgrade once my Kohls is paid off.

...and there is my P3. I'm gonna get back to my Tivo'd season finales. Still have to watch ER and Bones.

ummmm.... I AM the parents who had those :rotfl2:

I LOVED that kitchen. Not so much the fork and spoon though. DH bought those!

Just popping in to say Hello and Good Night.

6:00pm - picked Austin up at swim team practice and went home to change
6:30pm - helped Alex get his baseball stuff together & left for the field
6:50pm - dropped Alex off & baseball and went and picked up Sub's to eat
7:30pm - back at the ball field just to sit and wait early game in xtra innings

10:30pm - our game is over we win 8 to 7
10:50pm - home and getting kids in the bed

I am so tired and we have to be at church in the morning at 9am for childrens choir/drama dress rehearsel. OHHHHH to sleep late.

I stayed at POP two times and really liked it...It was only two of us in a room each time and i will probably be staying there again next may..

We really had a great time at Pop. Even as all adults (well, 1 teenager), it was not 'over the top' for our tastes... we thought it was cute!

I can't say anything about the busses, etc as we had our own car -- but we had zero complaints about the hotel! :goodvibes

HEY!

I posted a while back that the Imagineering Field Guide to Epcot is coming out in June.

Well, unlike the MK version which was MONTHS late, this one is out already -- ahead of schedule! Just thought I'd let you all know... we're going to B&N tomorrow to get it! :goodvibes

I didn't have the large spoon and fork but I do have the ugly hunter green and country yellow floor to match my kitchen. But I did have a spoon for those who did misbehave. Had to use it a few times and broke a little off once.

Chanon,

Just remember how long you are in the room. The food court was busy but we were able to get thru with no real lag in time.

Hi everyone! Wow it has been a long day, glad I can relax a little now :) Garrett played an awesome game tonight, they won 11-1! I am so proud of him & his team. He played the best I have ever seen tonight :goodvibes Both boys have a game tomorrow night & it is picture day.

Hope everyone had a good day, I am going to go back & catch up :sunny:

Mmmmm, you gotta have one, you just don't realize what you are missing!

Good Morning Everyone :wave2:

I hope everyone is doing well. It's Friday and I am soooooo glad. I don't think after today I have the mental capacity to review another mortgage loan application. My DH works at Home Depot and he comes home physically exhausted. I sit at a desk all day looking at a computer and analyzing papers and I come home mentally exhausted. Either way after dinner we practically crash and burn. I will have some laundry to get caught up on over the weekend.

So that means you were hitting the bar when you were a child :teeth:

actually yes I was :lmao:

My dad is/was an alcoholic so I do know my way around a few bars from a child. Could be why I haven't been in a bar in eons!!

I sell Tastefully Simple so the blueberry coffee cake is using one of their products. It will literally take me about 10 minutes from start to finish, not including the baking. Same thing with the Key lime cheesecake.

But I do have a Blueberry coffee cake and blueberry pound cake recipes that are in my opinion worth every ounce of effort. I will dig those out and pm them to you. But it probably won't be until Sunday.

I love mini cheesecakes and how can you go wrong with an Oreo version. What is in the moonbeam cookies? They sound intriguing (sp?)

I have never heard of Tastefully Simple....tell me more please!! :teeth:
