I think what is so funny is that now I have all of you into it now too!!!!!

On May 4 I went to tell my friend at work to look at her calendar as it was 04/05/06

She thought it was cool.

Then I said - at 2 minutes and 3 seconds past 1am this morning it would have been 01:02:03 04.05.06...

she looked at me like I'd lost the plot and told me I had too much time on my hands if I was figuring out things like that!!!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

This thread needs some kind of health warning or somthing...

I just decided to make popcorn - so I put the bag in the microwave and then thought I'd read a few pages while it popped...

Yup - stayed too long and burnt the popcorn!!!

Lucky I had another bad as that was not edible :rotfl:

Kate, sorry you got wishy washy news on your knee too. And I hope Nick will feel better soon. Is he perchance allergic or bothered by something in his room causing a reaction? Does he always have the symptoms at the same time and in the same place (i.e. is in his room before he complains)? Just trying to brainstorm for you. Seems like we both are stuck in limbo-land. Pass a drink while I keep you company.
I was thinking about this last night. Could he have stuck something up his nose, or would have that shown up in the MRI/Xray?

I'm an aunt again!!!! Woohoo!!!!!! :cool1: My brother & his wife had their baby yesterday. He called me at 12:54 am and scared me to death. I don't like getting calls in the middle of the night!!!!!!

I found myself holding my breath when I asked girl or boy. Normally, it doesn't matter to me as long as the child is healthy. However, this was different. My brother is 43 years old. He is a Jr. and he is the only grandson to carry on the family last name - Dad had 12 brothers & sisters - his brothers either had no children or girls - there are 30+ grandchildren total and he is the only one to carry on the last name. When my dad died, my brother talked at the funeral about how important it was to him to have a son to carry on the name for my grandfather & father. That was more than 8 years ago. Well ...... there is now a great grandson to carry on the family name. Mom & baby are doing great. Yeah! Thank you God!!!! I lay awake for an hour saying thanks because it was so important to my brother.

Can I be Queen of Limbo-Land?
I think a more fitting title would be Princess of Stealth-Stealing Milestones. :teeth:

Chuck is feeling neglected. I've been spending too much time with Pal Mickey or the DDA. I'm off to join him in the hot tub this morning and then to take Becky to her karate test. I'll be back later to check in. Have a great day DDA!!!!

While I was searching for fonts, I found one for Paul - it was called "Bottled Farts."

I'd love to see what it looks like.

Do they have a Chevy's there? If you told me they had a Red Robin I just might tell DH yes. :rotfl: Those are the kids' 2 favorite places to eat. My mom still thinks we're crazy when she visits and we get the Royal Red Robin.(Cheeseburger with a fried egg and bacon lettuce tomato on top.)

Yum, Red Robin! All you can eat french fries!!! :teeth:

It was at the Manor House

Kate, we got married at Manor House too!

Outside at 12:30 p.m. on the hottest day of the year: July 24, 1999 (yes, a Saturday)

Since it was lunchtime, we only served champagne punch...most people were interested in ice water though! :sunny:

My step-brother and annoying SIL got married there too in 2001...and Princeton HS just had their prom there last week.

I forgot to report back to you on the pages that I got from you for my neighbor. Well, I made 5 books for her kids, and put them in waterproof bags with clipboards and Sharpie pens (different color for each child). Catherine told me later that the kids never let those books out of their hands. They had an absolute BALL looking for the characters and getting autographs! In DCA they saw Cruella DeVille, and went to stand in line. People around them were admiring their books, and Cruella was so in character; granting autographs as though it was beneath her. When the Tuckers got to the front of the line, they all had her page ready, and she grabbed the book away from Seth, held it up high over her head and announced that THIS WAS THE WAY SHE SHOULD BE TREATED. She signed all those books, posed for pictures, kissed all the boys, and made a huge fuss over them! It really made their trip!

They didn't find all the characters, but Catherine told me that on the trip home, they were already planning their next trip to find more autographs.

Thanks, Clare, for making their trip so wonderful!!!!

Off to bed. John thinks I got a mild concussion. My head has a nest egg perched on my forehead. I was really drowsy and loopy when he got home. I really am a dumb ****! That's why I haven't been on tonight.

BTW, June, you can have the damaged brain back. Don't think I was using it properly anyway. Maybe we can get a refund or exchange? :confused3

Oh no! I hope this morning finds you feeling better and your goose egg gone. I don't suppose with that crazy-busy gang of yours you can take it easy this weekend, eh?

Congraulations, Aunt Vicki! Best wishes to your brother, SIL and the newest little one. I am so glad that there is a little boy to carry on the family name.

She likes his pic with Pal Mickey too! She was just telling someone that she needed to get married, but didn't know to whom....

That is so funny. We have to get them together now. I'm still working on the weekend we had talked about. Chris thinks it may now be the Saturday game instead of Sunday, he can't get his boss to make a decision. I'll let you know ASAP.

hmm - looks like I'm all caught up... that means I have no more excuses not to write this horrid assignment

Wow, I missed quite a posting party last night! We had a great time at the wedding...we couldn't keep Alyssa off the dance floor! I'll post some pictures in a bit.

Congratulations Paul on your new job! And, I hope the early mornings aren't too tough on you Marti!

Congratulations to Jennifer (and Kyle)! Hope the ceremony isn't too terribly tedious, but The Cheesecake Factory will make up for that!

Denise, I hope your head is feeling better this morning.

Jennifer (Blue Eyes), again, I'm so sorry about your loss.

Vicki, congratulations on your new nephew! I know what you mean about a family name coming to an end. My dad and his brother only had girls...that's why I hyphenated my last name, but I can't convince Kevin to do the same for Alyssa and Matthew.

Paula, your silent auction baskets look great!

Kate, I hope Nick's head feels better this morning. Tammi posed this question last night, but has Nick gotten his 2-year-molars yet?

I hope I'm not missing anyone...I think those are the major events from last night! I hope everyone's weekend is off to a great start!

Amy :)
