Well, a former English teacher (although not my own) has given me an assignment. So here it is -- my long-awaited (humor me) review of The Outsiders .
I must admit first that it's been several years since I read the novel, so not QUITE the strong response you saw from Pride and Prejudice
It was very good, although we decided that Tom Cruise looked a bit funny before he became so attractive (which, in turn, was before he became so kooky). Matt Dillon was definitely a cutie, and I was given ample time to be ready for a scene in which he "almost loses his towel". Don't worry, it was a really quick scene -- we didn't see much
I think had I seen this movie first, I would not have been as fond as Emilio Estevez
I don't think he's a good thug
Um... other than that, I unfortunately don't have the attention span at the moment to write about the social aspects, etc -- but I will say the cinematography was very beautiful!
{I think that my grade would be EXTREMELY sub-par, based on the above content}
The company I kept, however, was excellent!
{And since I'm really not getting graded (as far as I know), that's NOT sucking up!}
