DDA COMMUNITY SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT​

I had to go online somewhere with Dial up and although I have heard this complaint - I didn't realize how bad it was

our thread is very difficult to read on dial up - b/c we are VERY visual and like to have cool designs, share photos and have complicated signatures

I don't think we should do away with that but I think one thing we can do to help dial up readers is to not quote pictures

it is a little thing but I think will really help

so when you want to quote to comment on a photo - you can delete the photo out and then it might help our dial up friends!!

My back is doing a little bit better. I didn't go to work today, and I have been icing/heating my back as directed and it is finally feeling a little better.

I may be able to do Saturday, as my friend that was supposed to come for dinner may now have to go out of town for work. So more than likely I will be free on Sat. What time of day were you thinking?

Everything's good! My blood pressure was fine and my glucose blood test results were completely normal, but I'm not going to share my weight with you!

Can you believe I'm on two-week appointments now?!! I also have another ultrasound on May 10th to determine if my placenta moved up.

I already owned it on VHS, but had to buy the DVD the first day it was released. It is so worth the money. It's been restored, so the color is wonderful, and the extras last longer than the movie, so it's like two movies in one!

There's info about when Walt lived in Merceline, MO, old Disney TV show segments, all the old storyboards, etc, etc.

You must get it!!!

Besides, if you can have multiple copies of Sound of Music, you can have multiple copies of L&T.

I have a question about boys:

Cause I just don't understand them!!! Julia was never a physical child - she likes to run around and dance

but Nick - wants to fight and play star wars and jump off things and turns ANYTHING into a sword - he likes to hit - you know like Karate and stuff

He's not being malicious - that is just how he plays -

is this normal and if so how long is it going to last?

It is normal, boys are different and it lasts forever!!!

That's really cool, Kate. I love that every signature is unique! You could just put a similar animation with each character, but you really go all out to make each one special. Thank you so much for all of the wonderful designs and signatures.

Okay, I just have to say that I LOVE Illuminations. More so, I love that Terra does to. I love that we can sit here and "reinact" the music and fireworks as we watch. It's just such a nice way to end the night together. Just like we do at Disney, we watched the DVD of Illuminations suggled up together and then she drifted off to sleep. What's not to love about a night like that!

Hey all

I am glad you all like your new signatures!!

I got bad news today - I had a follow up with my doctor this afternoon - he said my knee muscles are strengthening but my knee is not responding as it should and he immediately stopped PT - I am going for an MRI in about 20 minutes and he is HOPING that he might be able to surgically correct it -

I don't know what it will mean if he can't

I am walking out the door now and won't know anything until I see him again next Wed. - I could really use some

Thank you everyone, I am waiting for the Dr. to call (they have up to an hour to return the call), the girls are in the bath (it’s not far from me) and Elizabeth just said she would like to have a popsicle, so I will be giving her on one f those in a few minutes.



Kate – I asked for Denise and Jennifer because I remembered they are RN’s and I am so sorry that I just didn’t ask you all straight out. I should know better. This group is full of knowledge and experience.

When I was prego I wouldn't share my weight either, but I would tell how much I'd gained. Except I made the mistake of telling my mother the first time around, and then I got the "we weren't allowed to gain more than 25 lbs the whole time" speach. I learned my lesson after that.
