I called you Jen for a while and then I realized you always wrote Jennifer - so I made an effort to write Jennifer - but now it seems to be slipping again and everyone else writes Jennifer - so I just wanted to make sure

I didn't want to offend you!

Not at all. Like I said, I always refer to myself as Jennifer, but I really don't think anyone else does, it's always Jen. And no variation ever bothers me, except when my Chorale conductor called me Jenny from day 1. No matter how many times other people corrected him, or he saw it written out, it was just Jenny. I still have no idea why that one bothers me. My mom has papers from Kindergarten, etc when I wrote Jenny.... but she thinks I was just lazy

If it hasn't always been an aversion, I'm pretty sure Forrest Gump sealed the deal for me!

We colored our Easter eggs tonight

Nick colored one it cracked when he dropped it into the glass - I guess throw would be a better description than dropped!!

when he pulled it out he got this look of wonder and surprise on his face and said

"Ducky coming out - Ducky coming out!!!!"

Poor little guy can't figure out where the duckies are now!!

I guess I missed it by one again, like always. I knew it was coming up and tried to delay posting but once again did not delay long enough. Cause of the stupid 40 second rule.

ETA: I will always be off by one so my milestones or lack of milestones will always end in 99. Although I graduated High school in 2000. Hmmm

We colored our Easter eggs tonight

Nick colored one it cracked when he dropped it into the glass - I guess throw would be a better description than dropped!!

Julia annouced tonight that the Easter Bunny was going to put the Easter Egg hunt outside -

BUT the weather is calling for rain - so inside it is - so she might be disappointed -

she is also going to be sad b/c the Easter Bunny never found The Parent Trap - when my mom got to blockbuster - it was the old version and it was too late for me to check anywhere else!

I am just going to make her a certificate and tell her it is in the mail

I would love to have the 4 days off from work!

Me too. That doesn't work because even if I have off from one job I always seem to work at the other. I have been called 6 different times since Friday to work at my part time job, but I am already working for everytime they call this weekend. They are probably sick of me telling them no.

I just showed Chuck this picture and told him I want one of these. We didn't put a fireplace in the house because he said that they waste too much electricity but I really want a fireplace!!!! This would give us both what we want.

How does a fireplace waste electricity?? I must be slow or something. But wouldn't it reduce your electricity costs if you have a wood burning one since you wouldn't have to use the electric heat as much, unless you don't have electric heat. I know you should put a blower on the fireplace to spread the heat but that doesn't take much electricity.

Can someone please explain.

I would love one of these although an outdoor fire circle surrounded by rocks is good enough for me.

most fireplaces in new homes now are gas - and you just flip a switch and it turns on - You have to pay a lot more for a wood burning one these days! We turned ours on almost every night for the first month we lived in our house - then we got our $300 gas and electric bill. It has not been on since!!

did you hear about Sean Casey today? DH says to me - see good thing we traded him - he won't be playing - I told him that would not have happened if we still had him

and I don't know how you can say it isn't spring in Cincinnati - we have the one sure fire sign that it is spring in Cincinnati - Griff isn't playing b/c his hamstring is bothering him

I said the exact same thing to Dave today about Casey. I feel so bad for him.

How long is Griffey out for???
