We will get up and go to church to 9:30 mass, usually we find our baskets before we go to church but I'm trying to talk the kids into waiting until we get home. They are not really digging that idea toomuch, it is just so rushed in the morning and then they don't want to leave so that they can check all of their loot out. We'll see who wins!!! I was going to try to send them on a scavenger hunt for their baskets in the morning and give them clues as to where they are, but I'm not feeling very creative tonight, maybe next year.
After mass we go over to our church's convocation center for brunch w/ some of my MIL and FIL's friends and their family's. Everybody brings something, it is a lot of fun!!! They have been doing this forever, since Dave was a kid. First they would go to each others houses then they outgrew that, we then used to go to a restaurant but we outgrew that and needed something bigger since their is now about 65-70 people that go, so now we go to the convocation center which is very convenient and the kids have tons of room to run around. We have an egg hunt there for kids.
We will then come back here so that the kids can hang out and play w/ their stuff. We stop at my parents for a little bit (we already celebrated w/ them last weekend). Then we head over to Dave's Aunt's house for dinner, unfortunately this is the small year at her house and there will only be about 25 people there. It is SO much more fun when everybody is there. At my in-laws house for Thanksgiving it is now up to about 55 people and still growing, I love these traditions because growing up I had such a small family and they weren't very big on traditions.
I'm SO tired I feel like I have been running all day long, which I have been. I left the house at 8 A.M. and I have been pretty much going ever since....
I hope everybody has a wonderful Easter, and that the Easter Bunny is good to everyone of you!!!!
Or your turtles!!!!

weluvdisney said:Whew I am SO relieved!!! I bought a new scale today at Target, when I weighed my self it was up by 5lbs from when I went to the Dr. on Thursday. I was kind of depressed about it because I was super motivated after going to the Dr. and seeing my progress. I just went in and looked at the scale again and realized that it was actually starting on 10lbs instead of 0. So I adjusted it and now it looks like I lost another 3 lbs!!!!!![]()

I feel So good just to finally be losing weight, I was in a rut for a while and could not get motivated. I also bought 2 new dresses today. I really liked both of them a lot. I was trying them on again when I got home. I thought that the one was a little snug, but decided to keep it anyway because it was SO cute. I thought it was a 14, that's what size I am currently in, I thought that I checked it for sure. But when I looked at the tag when I got home it was actually a size 10![]()
!!!
Sorry to ramble I am just really psyched!!!!

I absolutely LOVE peeps, it is my absolute favorite Easter candy!! Tonight Kyle was making up a song about the 12 days of Easter (like the 12 days of Christmas) and I was helping him think of things to say for the days. For the sixth day I said 6 purple peeps, a couple of minutes later he started gagging. I asked him if he felt sick and he said no I just don't like peeps and just the thought of them is making me gag!!! I can't believe he is my son and doesn't like peeps!!! Although Dave only likes them if they sit out and get stale and hard, I thought it was weird when he told me this but they are really good this way!!! Although I don't think that Kyle felt good at all tonight but didn't want to tell us that because of it being Easter tomorrow!!! Hope he's better in the morning!!!

I just saw the animation in your sig and thought - ahh he's cute...triplefigs said:Thank you so much!

julia & nicks mom said:Okay - I found two sites that have these quotes about M&M
Quote:
According to Walt Disney, Mickey and Minnie Mouse have never been married on screen. But, in 1933, during an interview with Film Pictorial, Walt said, "In private life, Mickey is married to Minnie... What it really amounts to is that Minnie is, for screen purposes, his leading lady." Two years later in 1935, he told Louise Morgan in the News Chronicle "There's no marriage in the land of make-believe. Mickey and Minnie must live happily ever after." The discussion of Mickey and Minnie's wedding has been fueled by the 1932 film Mickey's Nightmare in which Mickey falls asleep in the armchair instead of meeting Minnie at the local dance. Mickey dreams of being married to Minnie and is surrounded by numerous little Mickey mice. Then in 1935, a cover for for the sheet music "The Wedding Of Mister Mickey Mouse" shows a picture of a beaming Mickey, dressing in a tux, leading Minnie, dressed in a veil, from the church to the happy cheering of Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow. This music was a Novelty Fox-trot with music by Franz Vienna and words by Edward Pola with special permission by Walt Disney.
Quote:
Officially, Walt stated about Mickey and Minnie, when he once wrote in the Film Pictorial (1933), "In private life, Mickey is married to Minnie. A lot of people have written to him asking this question, because sometimes he appears to be married to her in his films and other times still courting her. What it really amounts to is that Minnie is, for screen purposes, his leading lady. If the story calls for a romantic courtship, then Minnie is the girl; but when the story requires a married couple, then they appear as man and wife. In the studio we have decided that they are married, really." In 1997 Russi Taylor, the current voice of Minnie married Wayne Allwine, the current voice of Mickey after a five year courtship. Russi's theory about Mickey and Minnie's public image, "The characters aren't going to get married, because children relate to Mickey and Minnie at their own levels. They don't know how old Mickey and Minnie are; but if they were to get married, they would become adults, and it would spoil the illusion."
