I hope you don't mind if I share this with you all, but it was a nice "mommy moment" after a long day at work.

Let me set it up: Nicholas showers in our bathroom, since he can do it himself now, while Alyssa is bathed in their bathroom. The other day they got those tub crayons and paints, and have been being little artists during bathtime. So, I didn't get home until around 8:30 tonight, as I had to do some errands after work. As I walk into my bathroom, I am looking right at my shower, and this is what I see:

Tammi, that's too sweet! Thanks for sharing :)

And that is a perfect example of why it is wonderful to be a Mommy.
I agree. I just had to take a picture of it so I could save it forever.

That is so nice of you. You really didn't have to do that!. You are spreading more pixie dust. The DDA sure has a bunch of giving people.

Deb

Can you tell I'm excited about this??!! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: I'm working on the spreadsheet right now. I'm trying to make sure I got everyone that has posted they are interested before sharing.

Does anyone subscribe to the Family Fun emails and Magazine? They have some really good ideas for Easter. Here's their Easter home page.
http://familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts/season/minisite/easter-main-ms/

This one is a video on how to make an Easter Egg Family.

This is a different site, but they mail out a free magazine every other month. It's a nice magazine with coupons and recipes with foods you actually have in your fridge and pantry. Compliments of Kraft Foods!

I think I have every magazine from the past two years. I use these more than my cookbooks. Especially for ideas because they are so simple.

I get both of these :rotfl2: . They both have lots of great ideas.

I get Family Fun and will get it until like 2009 or 2010, maybe till then I will have kids of my own to use the ideas. I got a free subscription for two years, it was great when I worked as a preschool teacher. When the Disney Magazine went out of business you could chose that or Disney Adventures. I chose the Family Fun. But I really wanted to be able to keep getting the Disney Magazine. So I will keep getting it for a few years more.

I haven't returned them yet -- gently used -- size 8! Never hit the pavement, only worn in the house. FOR SALE!

Hmmm... how much are you selling them for? Has anyone else dibsed them? If not, I'd be interested.

ETA: I see Vicki beat me to it. Oh well, I'll hit my Payless in the next couple of days and see what I can find.

Hey Delinda - I answered you on the croc thread - but in case you didn't see it: The Dicks store by us has Croc straps that attached to the Croc and you can get them in different colors. I think it was somewhere between $5 and $7.99. Let me know if you want me to get you some. If you look on Croc.com you will see what they look like.

Goodnight everyone. It's past my bedtime. See you tomorrow.

Vickie has already expressed an interest; but if something doesn't work out - the store by me had two pair of size 7 when I bought these last week. Let me know if that will work for you and I'll go down tomorrow to buy them for you. They are $14.99 plus tax and shipping... Let me know if you want me to go and see if they have an 8 or not.

My bedtime too. Bob's asleep on the couch, so it'll take at least 15 minutes to get him to bed. Main office meeting tomorrow, so 45 minute freeway driving here I come! (Oh boy. I'm excited about that.)

and a pink shirt with Thumper on that says Tickled Pink, all the parents and kids got a kick out of it.

I love these! They are so adorable! Thumper is my favorite Bambi character. He is just sooooo cute.

Are these real Crocs? And they are only $14.99? If they have khaki beaches in 8's let me know! :teeth: Cheapest I can get them around here is $24.99.

I was thinking exactly the same thing!!! I mean if I can try to make Pal Mickey some matching ones, so can she.

You are so sweet to offer! I'll check out the stores near me first and then I'll let you know. If yours can't go to me, then I'm glad that Vicki will get them.

Kristin -

What kind of Maclaren did you get for Kyle? What weight is it rated to? I saw one in someone's sig picture and her son was definitely bigger than Terra. She said it was a Triumph and was rated to 55 pounds, but everything I can find online says 40 for the Triumph and nothing for the Quest or Techno. AlbeeBaby has one color Triumph on sale for $110 that has me tempted, but probably not if it is for up to 40 pounds. Terra is currently 35 and 37-38". Since I replaced the wheel on our Pliko P3 is doesn't seem to push as well as it used too. I think we veer too easily, something that was already starting to happen more. I'm not sure what the deal is.

Also, does the Maclaren TRULY fold one handed? I can't fold my Pliko without using both pointer fingers, then one hand, then my foot and the help of the ground. An easier fold and load on the bus wouldn't be bad.

We have the triumph and it is rated to 55 lbs. Hunter was 47" tall and 47 lbs last trip and we bought it for him due to his feet issues. He fit in it fine and it pushed easily, even one handed. And yes, I can fold it with one hand. I wish I had bought a MAC as the first stroller I ever bought. I've owned at least 6 strollers and this one is hands down the best.
