Maybe after a day or 2...I found with the caymans and the clog w/out the holes..they felt pretty good right away. Let's cross our fingers...

did Tammi & Marti order these? If so, what color...we will look interesting all wearing the same shoes

Thanks for all the good wishes on DH's new job....it is only temporary but it pays better than anything else and is a M-F job.....so for the first time in a bunch of years he will have a set schedule AND have the weekends off.

I got the Niles in lt. blue and have not been wearing them much. But after reading about yours and Amy's, I beginning to think I better.

Okay, DDA. I need more costume help, please. Has anyone seen a Beaver costume or Narnia costumes? My DS10 is Mr. Beaver in his third grade play and I've had no luck finding a costume, or even a pattern. (I'm not sure why my kids always get the difficult costumes -- no bunnies, lions, tigers etc. for us. Maybe I outdid myself with the bear costume Deb ((Yeah Deb!! ))loaned me for Jake, so he just thought I could pull something out of a hat??? ) The only ones I have found were for a toddler, or school mascot ($1,000). I have no talent in this area -- my limit is sewing on buttons, patches, fixing seams etc. I definitely can't look at something and then go make it, so I'd much rather buy something if possible. I tried google at lunch, and didn't come up with anything.

Any ideas or advice would be really appreciated! I think the drama teacher said I have until April 24th to get the costume. HELP!!!

Yeah - I got the black Athens flip flops and have already returned them. I didn't like the way they fit - they were too big. I may go back and get the white with the orange instep, but I don't know. I never wear anything to the parks except sneakers because I need good arch support. So I doubt these would make an appearance at the world anyway!

You could do brown pants and a shirt. Get some brown felt or fleece for a tail. Here's a link to make a beaver mask.
