Just stopping by to say hi! I'm still trying to get caught up.

It seems there was a need for a lot of Pixie Dust and hugs in our absence, so here's some belated from us: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

I have a doctor's appointment today...not looking forward to getting on the scale, but I can't wait to hear Matthew's heartbeat again. :goodvibes

Hey Cincinnatians, I remember last year that the day of Alyssa's party was cold and gloomy, but the next day was beautiful and the weather from there on out truly turned into spring. Maybe the same will happen this year! :sunny:

Oh, and I was going to pretend I didn't know this, but I don't keep secrets well, so I'll tell you all that Kevin was secretly communicating with Kate and Marti behind my back about sending me on the DDA trip as a surprise. He admitted this to me in Epcot a few days ago...followed by, "but now that we're moving, we obviously can't afford this." It was such a sweet gesture, though. So, I'm definitely not going, but I couldn't drink with you all anyway! :teeth:

Okay, I really need to get back to making birthday favor bags. Talk to you soon!

Amy :)

Hi! :wave2: Thanks for stopping in, even while you're catching up. I hope that you're right about the weather and Alyssa's birthday party bringing real spring... but I hope it comes a day earlier so you have a nice day Saturday, too! :goodvibes

And yay Kevin.... what a sweet gesture!

Thanks again for looking for graduation ears... I'll just keep bugging DDAs until they put them out! :rotfl:

Nice to have you all back! :grouphug:

How many times do I have to tell you -

there is no reason to live on the west side of town

Tell that to my husband, if we didn't live within 5 miles of his parents they would disown us  !!!! He wouldn't know how to go to a different church/bank/grocery store/etc. etc. etc., since he has been going to the same places his whole life!!! My DMIL thinks that going to Northgate is going out of her way :rolleyes2 !!!

Well...our anniversary is on April 16...so getting a cruise put together is not going to happen. As much as I would like to do it...since I am going to WDW in May & Dec...I think I need a non disney thing in April (heaven forbid :scared1: )

If you say SO :rolleyes2 !!! Although I think that you could still plan a cruise, it doesn't have to be on your actual anniversary.

I'm sure that your DH says he likes Vegas, but I bet he really wants you to suprise him w/ a Disney cruise ;) , in fact I'm sure of it!!! Anyways my DH says that Vegas is a WDW for adults!!!

I would LOVE that! I really miss both Tapestry and Dreamfinder.

Here's my take on the Oct vs Dec thing.... I do love Disney in Dec but the weather can be iffy and you've got to worry about flight delays due to snow here both coming and going and what if we get a huge storm here and come home to a driveway full of snow? You've got to worry more about getting sick in Dec. You've got to bring a lot more clothes in Dec because it can be hot(I've been there in the 90's) or really cold (I've been there with 30's at night ) Also in Dec I've got more going on at home and come home a bit frantic to get all my holiday chores done. If you've never been in Oct you've just got to give it a try. LOVE the F&W fest. MNSSHP is a blast-lots of rare characters out. Go in Oct with AP's and maybe you'll find a great SW fare to sneak in a quick Dec trip too.

I really have my fingers crossed for these rumors too. I miss Dreamfinder and Terra LOVE Tapestry. She was hardly born when it ended, but watches the dvd of it all of the time. She gets a little concerned that we never watch it when we're at Epcot.

Thanks for the Oct-Dec input! It was just what I needed. The rare characters, especially the Villians, are one of the things that I am most looking forward too. Plus, Terra is all for a leisurely stroll through the countries so I should have plenty of time at F&FW.

Kyle just left to take pictures for First Communion!!! He looked SO cute, he has never had a tie on before. He was definitely not liking the tie too much. I wish I knew how to post pictures, he looked So grown-up! I am glad I have a son to do this first because it took all of 10 minutes to get him ready, I'm sure 2 years from now I will be pulling my hair out w/ Carli making hers!!!

Saturday morning Steve asked Nick what he wanted to do -

Nick looked at Steve and said "Go Buzz ride!" Steve started laughing and said "Sorry buddy, we can't do that"

Nick put on his cutest face - clasped his hands together and said "Pease Daddy go Disney World - PEASE!!!"

I was ready to go - Steve showed restraint - but he did seem to seriously consider it!!!

Terra did the same things this weekend! I asked where she wanted to go for something fun on Saturday and she looked very thoughtful and said, "Hmmm...How-dabout Didney Woyld?" I told her that we couldn't really do that right then and she said, "But I need to ride Tea Cups and Dumbo and see Donald Duck Movie (Philharmagic)." She was a little sad that it wasn't possible. Rees and his monorail, Nick and Buzz, Terra and Donald Duck Movie...I think that we're all doing something right! (Of course, try to tell that to Phil. :rotfl: )

That's what I'm hoping for this year. We've been the past 2 Decembers and I'm afraid I will go through withdrawals if I don't get my Disney Christmas fix.

Good! There will be two of us in that boat then. If the cheap fares don't come through we can lean on each other through our Disney Christmas withdrawls.

I’m on my way to take the girls to gymnastics, but had to tell you all this.

So we have had to put a baby locks on the refrigerator this past week because Bethie had been opening it.

Well I forgot last night to lock it and woke up to a clunking noise. Bethie was getting the stool out of the bathroom and on her way BACK to the freezer to get the items on the upper shelf. She had been it the freezer already and eaten the peas and was trying to get the dippers (little ice cream drops).

This morning I forgot to “baby lock” it and after loading the washing machine, I found her in it again telling me she needed some cheese.

Now this afternoon, I have had to put the kitchen stepladder outside because she has learned how to lean it up and climb it.

Good grief, I need some calgone.

See, if you do it my way ;) you get to see the Christmas stuff again, now, you get the big blow out in Feb (is that the one Phil is going too???) and then you still get to try MNSSHP and F&W AND Phil may like Feb so much that he may agree to go with you in Oct!!!!

Nothing like being an enabler :goodvibes
Kristin

I have been so tempted by this ever since you posted it! I still am. I figure until plane tickets are purchased, there's not telling what I'll decide. Yes, Feb is when Phil is going. I am holding out hope that he'll be swayed at least a little, but we'll see.

I defintely know who to come to when I need some enabling!
