Hope you all are ok! we're supposed to get bad stuff tonight. Why does it always hit here when the kids are asleep?

:wizard: :wizard: I hope the storms miss everyone. Seems like a bad weather week for everyone.

I will try to scan in some pictures of my boys as they've grown between our Disney trips. I'm getting dinner made now as we have to be a school at 6 pm for Poetry night.

By the way, I have made incredible progress on my house cleaning.

Kristin, love the new designs. I might have to do the boy/girl version for me and DH and put the kids in the individual ones. Might be really cute. Can you PM those 2 to me, please?

Kristine, from where your DS is applying, he must be one bright young man. WTG, mom! and I love the Crocs pic.

Clare, hope you're feeling better now.

Jo, glad everything is looking up for you.

Hugs and hi to the rest of the DDA!

Speaking of TGM - I used him last trip and thought his advise was fantastic [apart from the Dumbo incident...] I'm thinking of signing up again this year but wanted to check - has he added Soarin and EE into proper touring plans yet?

Yes, Soarin is included. EE is coming once it opens regularly and he can see how the patterns work. I'd say that for a Nov trip it will be all there.

Hi, Deb. How's Colby feeling? I've been in a cleaning mood today too. It's so nice to see a sparkling house!

Today at the EE Grand Opening they announced that Nemo the Musical will replace Tarzan Rocks - the are looking for a Fall 2006 opening - not sure when that exactly means!!

Now that's a good reason to go in December. We'd love to see that. And I can't wait to ride EE. It was on the front page of our Living Section in the Atlanta Journal Wednesday.

Ok, sorry. Double post. I just finished changing sheets on 5 beds, doing 2 loads of laundry, ironing all our clothes, and giving the kids a bath. Hope they sleep through the night and go to bed early 'cause I get a free night with DH!

Man you are good! What I wouldn't give for a washing machine.

It's supposed to start for us after midnight, too, and rain all day tomorrow. I guess that means soccer will be cancelled.

Colby is fine. He just had it before bedtime last night and woke up just as happy this morning. He is sitting on my lap now telling me that he is starving to death. Good thing as dinner is about to be served :thumbsup2

OK..just one more AP question, I promise! :teeth: ..does anyone know if if there is ever an AP rate for a concierge level stay?

Kristine-I'm still behind so I don't know if you got any answer to this question but I have received AP discount on concierge but they are limited. I always book with AAA so that I know I've got something. Last year I was in the period of time that had no AP so I was happy to have booked with AAA. Since AAA is a % and AP is now a flat $ off the AP rate isn't all that much more. The AP rate would be the $ off that all deluxe rooms are. I think the current discount is $100 off.

Seriously? You don't have one? I would have NEVER survived them as babies. We did 2-3 loads PER DAY!!!!!! We still have at least 6-7 loads per week between the 5 of us, sheets, towels, etc. Do you go to the laundromat?

Of course as soon as I inhale the nasty orange stuff, the sirens start going off! But since this was the only day this week that Kevin came home before 5 p.m., I braved the weather and drove to the clinic. The rain actually held off in Sharonville until my drive home. We haven't had the wind/hail that they are reporting elsewhere, but the temperature sure has dropped!

It's a good thing my friend postponed her annual Easter Egg hunt from tonight until Sunday! Of course, our church is supposed to start serving the first of several Friday community dinners at 5 p.m. We'll probably still go, since the church is less than 1/4 mile away and I didn't thaw anything for dinner.

I'm impressed with how motivated some of you are to clean! That's something I should definitely be doing, but I've just been too tired this week.

Tammi, I loved your Easter pictures...can't wait to see next week's pic!

I'll be back later!
Amy :)

How do your 10 and 5 year olds get along? There will be 5 years between Christopher and this baby and I worry all of the time that I've waited too long :(.

I have two boys, 10 & 5.5 yo. and a 16 month girl. I didn't plan it this way, and I'd always wanted my kids to be close of age, but for medical and financial reasons, that's how it came out. But now I'm really happy of how it turned out. I feel that I was able to give each and everyone of my kids enough quality time for most of their infant years.
As far as the two boys, they both get along very well and also fight each other very well, as close siblings do, and they like to do things together too. That wasn't so until about a year ago, when they were like 4 & 9. Before that, the little one was just too small to do the things that the big one liked to do. Sometimes DS10 complains that the only thing he doesn't like is that DS5 is no challenge for him when they play together and sometimes he gets bored. But he has also taught him new games and stuff so that they can play together. Another thing is that the small one is doing many things that the big one wasn't doing at that age. And also I've had to let him do things that maybe the big one wasn't allowed until much older. Like, for example, DS10 saw Harry Potter for the first time at age 6 or 7, while DS5 has already seen the movie (except for the last movie which we tought it was much more aggressive). So, all I can say is that siblings will always be siblings, and you're going to enjoy your baby just as if he was the first, or maybe even more because now you have mom experience, not like first time moms.
