I just wanted to say thank you to the DIS and the DDA for fueling my Disney addiction, my Diet Coke addiction, allowing me to have a place to celebrate and cry without being judged, and giving me a home away from home. This is a wonderful group of women and men, and I'm proud to be a DDA! I love you all very much.

Now, on to 10,000!
WOOHOO Denise!!! You rock, girl! :grouphug: :Pinkbounc

Wow everyone has been chatty, it took me forever to catch up.
Amy I loved the autograph pages, very cute. And Alyssa looks good too. :teeth: You guys must really love characters, my DS Zachary does too. He just loved getting his autograph book signed at DL last Dec. I may have to try and make our own for our free dining trip this fall. I hope your diabetes test goes OK. :wizard: I had to do that one and then the 6 hr one. Never did like the taste of that stuff.
Becky I hope you feel better soon and congratulations on the job. :sunny:
Jennifer good luck with the house hunting. :wizard:
Denise :wizard: for those kids to feel better and for Reese's surgeries. Sorry spring break didn't go well. Have a nice time celebrating your anniversary.
Deb I hope Colby is all better. :)
Mommykds hope you and your DS feel better quick :wizard:
Paula more :wizard: for SIL and the all the family
Kate :thumbsup2 nice perm and good idea, it would be a shame for Julia to straighten tose beautiful curls. I hope your knee is feeling better.
Dawn  Happy Anniversary to you too. As far as the permanent birth control, I had thought about it. But, couldn't I know it's crazy but I'm just not ready to close that door forever. :confused3
Kristin  nice car! I love the designs.

Yeah!! Denise!! That is a lot of chatting and I loved what you said!!

Hope I caught everyone. :wizard: for anyone I missed
Thanks for the 80s detour. wonderful times, I graduated in 91 from HS and yes I was a Varsity cheerleader for football as well as basketball. I absolutely loved Dirty dancing and Goonies(I had a crush on Sean Astin). I wasn't in to sci-fi until I married DH(huge star trek/star wars fan) I remember waiting on the grass in front of the theatre with Blake,(our first DS) who was a baby, for a couple hours to see the midnight, first, showing of the 4th Star Wars movie when it was released. The difference between 1 and 4 if DH asked me to do that now I'd look like this  :lmao: :sad2:
And noone mentioned Madonna. :confused3 I loved her songs when I was in junior high. Of course now as a parent, the idea of a 13 YO girl singing Like a Virgin
And Denise DH and I wouldn't consider it Christmas without A christmas story
You'll shoot your eye out. and the lamp, the first time my DH was like I don't get what's wrong with the lamp. He does not pick out the decor of the house. :teeth:
:wave2: Everyone have a good weekend.

Julie -

I sent you a pm but in case you miss it-

DH and I have decided that I should just not worry about the Delta ticket and book on Airtran for the outgoing flight - there is one that leaves at 8:00 am out of Dayton and is non-stop!!! If Delta strikes - I can get that ticket refunded - if not then I am out $50 change fee and can just have a Delta credit for the ticket

My only hitch is if my MIL will take the kids all day - and if you could go that early -

PM me!!!

BENGALBELLE
Thanks for the kind words.

Turns out we all have strep throat..I have never had it before & boy it hurts..didn't realize what my kids felt all these years when they got it. Feeling better today though, thanks!

Kristine, from where your DS is applying, he must be one bright young man. WTG, mom! and I love the Crocs pic.

Kristine - I just realized you must have gotten your package -

I have the sage Nile Crocs too - we will probably match all weekend!!!

yep..thanks for sending them. I think they run slightly smaller that the crocs?...my left toes seem to hit the top. I'll have to try and break them in.

Kristine, I can relate to that because my DS who is majoring in Computer Engineering has his laptop, his desktop, and enough parts to build a couple more I think. I can't believe how much stuff he crams into a little room. But he doesn't seem to care if he doesn't have room to move. And I certainly don't know anything, so there would be no reason for him to listen to me!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I was so shocked by the size of the dorm rooms...<mouth hanging open> I am sure I must have looked crazy...I just could not believe that 2 stinky guys can live in such close proximity of one another. The whole dorm building smelled of feet!!! :scared1: :crazy2: :scared: :faint:

That happened with mine too - put them in your dryer for about 3 minutes and then put them on your feet immediately - mine are great now - stretch the strap a little while they are still hot too!!!

I'll have to try that....

What time would your flight get in Kate, if you get on that early one?

great picture Denise!

Thanks to everyone for the comment on my pic. John says it is the absolute best picture of me he's ever seen! He said I was so happy cause I was at Disney and had the biggest Diet Coke on the planet. He actually has that picture framed on his desk.

We talked tonight about my "addiction". I told him I wanted to start taking the kids for a few days each Spring Break or summer by myself (he doesn't get that much vacation time), and did he think that was ok. He said it was great 'cause they love Disney as much as me. So, I think I may upgrade our tickets to APs when we go in December. That way I could go back at the end of school for a couple of days and possibly squeeze in another trip in the fall/Christmas.

Alyssa had her two year doctor's visit today...our baby is 33 inches tall and 25 pounds. I can't believe she's getting so big!

We always get a picture of her sitting in Minnie's chair when we're in Toontown (I know Kate does this too! :goodvibes ).

Hopefully Matthew will get to go as often as Alyssa has in his first two years of life! :teeth:

Amy :)

Just precious, Amy!
