OMG -- the radio station I listen to said that the Lost tonight was the last new one until May.....but the preview for the next show, shows new things and they said it is next Wednesday. Woo Hoo! We don't have to wait so long for more info!!!

Did you just watch it? I'm so confused about the ending!

Did you notice that Henry Gail was the name of Dorothy's Uncle in the Wizard of Oz, and the Wizard got to Oz in a Hot Air Balloon? I think thats interesting. Don't know if it has anything to do with wat is going to happen, but we shall see.

I only saw pieces of the show -- it was bath time for the boys....but the end did throw us a little bit of a curve. I won't mention it, since some people are taping to watch it later, but it definitely left me wanting more. I did not notice what you were talking about -- walking in and out I miss a lot like that. I end up listening to the recap on the radio, and it's amazing all the things that listeners catch....

I even know how to post some non-character pictures! :teeth:

This was our first ride of the trip. We don't take the time to ride too many attractions (characters are much more important to us!), but we always ride every attraction in Fantasyland (except Dumbo, because the line is too long!).

horsiefordis.jpg

Of course, this was Alyssa's favorite attraction, so we rode it 6-7 times!

ohanafordis.jpg

What a cutie! This was at the Ohana breakfast...I can't believe she left that lei on her head, but she was distracted by grapes.

cupcakefordis.jpg

Again, I can't believe she left the crown on her head, but Perla was also gesturing "Happy Birthday," so again she was distracted!

icecreamfordis.jpg

Yummy Beaches and Cream! Obviously Alyssa's not waiting for a picture...she's ready to dig in!

Okay, that's all I cropped today. Since our DVR is taping yet another new episode of Lost tonight, it's time to get off the computer and veg in front of the TV for a while! I think we have about 20 hours of shows we're behind on!

Amy :)
Adorable pictures and you always have a great smile :)

I wont spoil any more than this, but Lost....after tonight I just don't know what to think anymore. I need some time to process it.

I have been thinking about the Henry Gail thing since he first appeared a couple of months ago...I'm a big Wizard of Oz fan. I keep meaning to call the Wake Up With the Wolf show to mention it but never have!

This shows endings always leave me wanting more!

Vicki,

On our trip in Jan to DL there was a group of people waiting for Mickey (kind of the crowding around him thing going on). A young man (20ish) was waiting for a picture and signature himself. He let my DD’s go and that is when I figured out that he was waiting his turn but felt bad because all the kids. Well After Mickey signed our books, I asked the man for his book and said “Mickey this nice man wants your signature and autograph, he has been waiting and letting all the kids go in front of him”. Well Mickey stood up and took a few moments with the young man (again I think he was in his 20’s). It was then that I figured it’s not just kids who want pics and signatures, (That’s the Duh factor!) From that point on I ensured that if and adult was waiting and keeps letting kids go, I made a point to let the character know the adult is waiting for them.
And you know I might bring my own book next time.

Which brings me to my castle story...

The first time I went to CRT for breakfast, I saw Mickey walking towards the front of the castle. I didn't know where he was going, only that there was Mickey Mouse! And I started running after him, waving my arms like a windmill.

Mickey! Mickey! I'm screaming. He's walking, not even turning around to wave. I have tunnel vision. All I see is Mickey! I finally caught up with him when he stopped in front of the castle. I ran in front of him. Mickey Mickey! I love you Mickey!! Can I get a picture? (Obviously, this was my first time seeing Mickey) He put his arm around me and we took a picture. I thanked him and started walking away. Then I saw the line......

And I put my hand to my mouth and apologized to the first person in the line. And he said, don 't worry about it. Just seeing your joy, was worth waiting an extra 30 seconds for our turn...

Some people just "get it" :smickey: :smickey:

Thanks everyone, for the congratulations! It's so nice to come here... you all are as excited as my family! :teeth: It was a very quick response, which was nice :) They are sending the written offer letter tomorrow, so when I get it we can move forward with the house-hunting!!!! That's what I'm most excited about

So, I guess the most important question is: who are you going to live by; the Queen or Amy or Julie?

I remember reading a story on here about someone knocking kids over when the Epcot bus pulled in. That wasn't about you, was it? I seem to remember someone saying the story wasn't true.

I guess that makes me old... :rotfl2:

We had milk delivery for almost my entire "growing up" life. Local dairies delivered to the little boxes on the doorsteps in the neighborhoods. We also had a postman who whistled like nobody's business; I can still hear him :rolleyes1

We had grocery delivery service (for FREE) and my telephone number when I was growing up had two digits and a letter. And I never think of myself as being that old. I am sure the young'ins on here will disagree :goodvibes

I need to fill out that DDA questionairre.... :surfweb:

I had milk delivery and the same kind of telephone number.. We must be close in age.......

My goodness, we were adults before HBO!!!

I love to see adults get excited like this. I agree with the first person in line. It would have been worth it. Disney is definitely about love:love: and magic:smickey:.

I've been fluttering with Flylady for about a 1 1/2 years. I just don't seem to stick to the routines very well. I love your idea about the music and cards. I've been looking for a way to get Christopher more involved in the chores and I'm going to use your card idea. He can't read yet, but I can print pictures on them. Thanks for the idea!

You bet! Anything that makes housework fun is a plus in my book. It took me a while to get my routines down, and I still have days where I don't use them, but for the most part I get things done. I do the email reminders, and try to spend 15 minute de-cluttering one room in my house until it is done. It's been harder lately, since I'm back at school, but I do my best. I just keep reminding myself that I can do anything for 15 minutes.

The hardest was decluttering all my craft stuff. Finally I just decided to throw away anything that had been sitting unfinished for at least 2 years. That was huge! I felt so much better afterwards, though. I'd been feeling so guilty that these projects were sitting around, and now I don't have to worry about them anymore. I just kept things that I absolutely love!

Flylady won't work for everyone, and I don't follow her system exactly, but it gave me a jumping off point to where I could tweak it to suit me.

I saw the bus and started running towards it. I will always stand by the truth that no one was in my way. I swear on Tink

Hello DDA!!

First important things - the drinking arm is just fine - and if not - there are always straws!!!

Amy - your pictures are adorable!!! You are so lucky Alyssa loves the characters!! Between 18 months and 3 both of my kids cried when they came near them - hopefully Nick will be over that at DL - Julia definately is - although since his "lyssa" did it - I am sure Nick will be very brave!! ;)

I can pretty much guarantee Jennifer will not live near Julie - only b/c it is WAAAAAAAY across town!! :lmao: At least that is what my in-laws tell me every chance they have to drive to our house! and Amy's neck of the woods has no new homes in it - which leaves my area as the only possibility - but they might go further east - although if the new hospital is really going to happen - real estate in my part of town will skyrocket and getting in now could be a very good investment!! (I keep hoping!!) :thumbsup2

I hope everyone is feeling better. I hope all of you who have free dining booked, enjoy it. It was great last year. I still feel kind of sick, but am surviving. It was snowing and blowing like crazy here today. Crazy weather for April. I have gotten the Assitant Manager position and I am still working both jobs.

Sending :wizard: and :grouphug: to all of you. If I missed something important I apologize. I should send individual posts to boost my count but this is easier. :rotfl2: I am still back on page 1091.

Amy- The party looked great and tons of fun. The cookies looked great as always. BTW-You do not look fat, you look great.
Kristine- Did someone forget to tell that you are not suprised to dye the shirt when you wearing it. :lmao: It looks great anyways.
Denise- I hope you, Brantley-Kate, and Reese are feeling better and that Davis and John do not get sick.
Kevin-Amy is one lucky girl to have you and you are a great guy.
Kate- Great designs as always. Sending you :wizard: that you have a good report from the doctor. As for the laptop, you could always plug the keyboard from the desktop into the laptop.
Clare-I hope you are feeling better.
Marti, Paul and Matthew- Feel better Paul. Marti and Matthew don't catch it, also Matthew congrats oon the debut.
KC10family- Sending hugs to you and your entire family.
Tinkaroo- Take some time to breathe and relax. Spend some time with your DH. I know it will be hard, but you can get through it. Try as hard as possible to go on that vacation you will need it and appreciate it even more.
Elin-Congratulations on the weight loss, way to go.
Linzybrooke-Welcome to the DDA, if I missed welcoming you earlier I am sorry.
Julie-Nice to see you in Amy's pictures and I hope all of these tricks, help Carli decipher the b and the d.
tink2020-Sounds like the interview went well. Sending :wizard: that you get the job.
June-Enjoy your trip with your granddaughter. I am sure you will have a blast.
Theresa-Good luck in getting rid of the stuff you don't need anymore.
Glynis- I am glad to hear that you are doing well and that nothing happened. Imagineers do so much more than what you think of in the normal realm. It is one of my dream jobs.
Vicki-Congrats on the weight loss and getting your life in order.

If I missed anyone I am sorry. Sending :wizard: and :grouphug: to everyone. I am off to bed.

Becky

Oh, I got the sisters mixed up on this one. I believe that you didn't see anyone in your way because you only had eyes for the characters! :rotfl:

It is so neat that you have each other to share your love of Disney with. My sister would think I was nuts if I went sprinting across to see the characters (and I would do it too).
