A nice personalized message from Pinocchio.

Another great personalized message. Mickey at Garden Grill wrote this...he had a little more time than say Mickey at the Judge's Tent.

Nothing too special about this page, but we included a picture of Goliath, even though he doesn't sign autographs. I thought it was cute that JoJo signed for him (Belle also signs for Beast).

A very unique signature, and I love that he enhanced the page with pictures too.

Donald also added some pictures. I love teasing him that he's #2. He can get very indignant!

Alyssa really liked her "book." She wanted to show it to every character, even if we had already gotten his/her autograph. I'll definitely keep making homemade books for our future trips, even though Kevin makes fun of the "collection" we have piling up (someday I'll get caught up on scrapbooking!).

This is what is wrong with my knee: Patellar subluxation

The kneecap is designed to fit in the center of this groove, and slide evenly within the groove--this is called patellar tracking. In some patients, the kneecap is pulled towards the outside of the knee.

patients who experience an unstable kneecap have a patella that does not track evenly within its groove on the femur.

So I have to have physical therapy for the next four weeks - twice in the office and then a rigorous home routine - which he said will be pretty extensive and be ongoing

He said my knee buckles b/c my muscles decide they are sick of working so hard so they just shut down. I need to be particularly careful on steps as it is common to happen on steps and he doesn't want me to fall

No knee brace yet but I told him I was going to WDW for an all-girls trip at the end of May

now for the BEST part: he is a Disney fan and promised he would have me ready to go!!!

he said if my knee doesn't seem better at my next appt we will think about a brace for the trip

and he said it isn't a problem that they treat with surgery unless nothing else works after a long period of time!!

Okay, well you know we had over 300 photopass pictures, so you can only imagine how many pictures we took! I spent Alyssa's naptime picking out a few of my favorites:

Alyssa absolutely adores Baloo. We saw him alone, standing outside AK and got to spend some quality, unrushed time with him.

Brer Bear was standing on the curb along side the Emporium in Town Square. I love that he stooped down and put Alyssa on his lap.

This picture cracks me up, because Rafiki was practically smothering Alyssa!

I know Alyssa's not always going to "fit" on a character's lap, so I love pictures like this.

It's very hard to capture a picture of Alyssa actually smiling for the camera...she's usually smiling at the characters, but not when we try to take a "posed" picture.

To all my other buddies - still feeling lousy and will be turning in early tonight. Good news on Paul's MRI - no tear in his shoulder and that means no surgery. He will continue with physical therapy. He still feels lousy too - so we're going to sleep early tonight. I would have said going to bed early tonight - but I know how you people get!!!

Amy - keep them coming - I love that you've learned a new skill! The pictures are adorable, and you are right - she won't fit in the lap of characters forever, take the pictures while you can.

More character pictures:

The evening extra magic hours at AK proved to be worth it for this picture alone...we love getting Minnie and Mickey in the same picture!

This was the Mickey who wrote the special message in Alyssa's autograph book. He also played with her JoJo's Circus figures.

Alyssa also convinced Chip to play JoJo's Circus with her!

I thought this was a very pretty Snow White. We found her in Germany in Epcot. The first time we got in line, she took a break, and Alyssa cried. We walked around a bit and made it back just in time to be first in line for her return.

Alyssa wasn't too sure of the Mad Hatter, but he was hilarious. He reminded me of Seinfeld with his comments, like, "Why is abbreviation such a long word?!!" He also gave Alyssa a handful of straws for her birthday.

I even know how to post some non-character pictures!

This was our first ride of the trip. We don't take the time to ride too many attractions (characters are much more important to us!), but we always ride every attraction in Fantasyland (except Dumbo, because the line is too long!).

Of course, this was Alyssa's favorite attraction, so we rode it 6-7 times!

What a cutie! This was at the Ohana breakfast...I can't believe she left that lei on her head, but she was distracted by grapes.

Again, I can't believe she left the crown on her head, but Perla was also gesturing "Happy Birthday," so again she was distracted!

Yummy Beaches and Cream! Obviously Alyssa's not waiting for a picture...she's ready to dig in!

Okay, that's all I cropped today. Since our DVR is taping yet another new episode of Lost tonight, it's time to get off the computer and veg in front of the TV for a while! I think we have about 20 hours of shows we're behind on!
