Well if you need WC advice - I have never lived anywhere else! I can tell you which elementary schools you want to live in and traffic patterns

I think it's great that there are so many of you who live close enough to see one another regularly. I wish that I could find a DDA who lived close to me, but oh well. I'll just have to pray that I get to meet you all someday. The half marathon will be one place, and I do plan on coming to a WDW meet sometime. Just have to save some money as DH says he doesn't like to feed my addiction.

Well.... I live by the Queen now (and grew up in this town or a nearby one). I'm pretty sure I won't be living by Julie (sorry Julie, but you should just move East ). I like Amy's area, but I don't think there is anything available there from what we've been looking at.

So I guess that's the probability, but who knows ... I'm just excited that I can finally start looking at houses and then actually TALKING to people about them! Well, after we do the financing junk

I did go to CHCA (graduated in 2001), and I'm pretty sure I'll send my kids there. I don't think I'll need too much other advice, as WC was always my other home. I grew up in Mason (after living in Loveland the first few years) but went to church in WC so all my friends went to Lakota. But I'll definitely know who to come to if I need it.... I'll actually probably have more homebuilder questions, though!

Jennifer- Congratulations on the job!!!! Wow that was fast, I'm glad you didn't have to wait long!!! Good luck on the house hunt (even if the West Side isn't on your list )!!!

Amy/Kevin- Whoever you are , great pictures!!! Alyssa looks so happy!!! Carli never went through a time of not liking characters, the first character she ever met was Sully from Monster's Inc. not a good one to introduce her to!!! We thought she would never recover, but she ended up warming up to all of the other characters she met that trip!!! Until she met the hyena's during MNSSHP parade, of course that is the only character interaction we got during the parade !!!

Kate-I'm glad that your Dr. appt went well, if I go on the DDA trip I will bring my knee brace just in case so that we can match!!! Speaking of which Dave is warming up to the idea!!!! He did mention that that is the festival weekend tonight when we were talking about it, but I told him he would just have to figure things out!!!! It only took 2 1/2 days of guilt trips and moping to get him to this point!!!! I still need to talk to my babysitting kids parents to see if this will work out for them but I should know something soon!!! Keep your fingers crossed!!!!

KC 10 Family-Your SIL and your family are in my prayers!!! I am continually bowled over by the genuine concern and caring feelings that comes from the people of the DDA!!! I have never seen or heard of anything like it!!!! We are all very lucky and blessed!!!

We might actually! We actually are looking first through homebuilders, but were advised to still get a realtor. I'm not sure if this is the case if we're buying a market home, but I'll let you know The other problem is, if we don't buy new, then I have a family friend who is a realtor... but I LOVE all the houses he has listed -- and we were also advised to get a realtor OTHER than the listing one (so that they don't have loyalty to the seller as well). But seriously, every book or website I've ever looked at.... if I like the house, I can BET Kevin is the one listing it

We might actually! We actually are looking first through homebuilders, but were advised to still get a realtor. I'm not sure if this is the case if we're buying a market home, but I'll let you know The other problem is, if we don't buy new, then I have a family friend who is a realtor... but I LOVE all the houses he has listed -- and we were also advised to get a realtor OTHER than the listing one (so that they don't have loyalty to the seller as well). But seriously, every book or website I've ever looked at.... if I like the house, I can BET Kevin is the one listing it
