I didn't even realize we were going to be there at the same time. Maybe we will bump into each other again.

I don't remember your response last time I brought it up (it wasn't a definite trip then anyway!) but I want to say you'll be either leaving very shortly after I get there, or coming in shortly before I leave. It's such a quick trip for me, that ours don't overlap much! Do you arrive on the 8th or something, if I remember correctly?

Hi everyone-
Well i just got home from a busy busy day..i went to work first and that was rough ,but im glad i went back today--i missed my kiddos! Then i came home and went right back out--My firemen uncle had a birthday today so we did dinner..then my brother and i went to his girlfriends house to w atch football--DALLAS WON!

But, the best news of the night! My cousin (from colorado) is coming to NJ!!! we talked about it for the week after christmas last month, but the airfare was ridiculous. She texted me today and asked if i still had the week off and said she was seconds away from booking..so she is coming! i think were going to go to NYC and Atlantic City--She will beh ere for her 25th birthday and new years eve! i cannot wait!

Can I have redo of today please. Nothing major just a ton of little things that have thoroughly screwed up all my plans.

First, Emma reminded me this morning that she needed cupcakes to take into school. This having 3 kids has really sucked all of my brain cells. Great, so at 7 I load them in the van and get ready to head to the store. Thankfully Gail was on her way to exercise class and offered to pick them up for me! Love her. I'd be lost without her. So I unloaded the girls back out of the van after struggling with Molly's car seat buckle for 10 minutes. It was jammed.

Then the delivery company called to confirm delivery of the fridge tomorrow. Between 4pm and 8pm. No that won't work, Emma's party is at 4. We were told that it would be in the morning, of course the helpful lady from the delivery company said "Well you were told that by Home Depot, not us" Thanks! She said well it's just a fridge it won't take long. Hello, we need to empty the old one and then restock it. Sure- let me interrupt the party and tell the guests to wait! Brilliant. The next available day would be Thursday. No, I'm not waiting another week. So it comes tomorrow.


Then the dr's office called to confirm Emma's appointment on Monday with Dr Carter. Nope that's not right- their dr is Dr Horton. I dislike Dr Carter ALOT! I specifically asked for Dr. Horton so now I'm livid. Dr. Horton is a wonderful doctor bur her office staff is completely incompetent. The only day Dr Horton is available is Tuesday. So I book the appointment even though it really won't work. I have an appointment Monday to get the girl's holiday pics taken and Eric took off to watch the boys. I figured Emma could miss the day from school and we'd get everything done. Now I've got to see if my sister can watch the boys in the afternoon and make sure that I am back so that she can pick up my niece at 3:30pm.

So much for trying to plan anything!!! Sorry for venting but Eric was driving me crazy and getting upset with me so I had to get it out somewhere. He cannot understand my sarcasm sometimes and takes it personally. You'd think after 9 years he'd catch on

Well we bought a new washer. As silly as it may sound I was almost in tears for having to spend the money right now. But what can you do, we need one. Here is what we got:

As long as the ice storm doesn't hit tomorrow, it will be delivered then. They are also going to take our old one, so at least I don't have to worry about that.

Princess and I weren't really paying much attention to staying on a schedule today, so her lunch was kind of late. Her breakfast was late because we were just putzing around, so I figured it all balanced out. Then DH called and said I have to go get DS today. I would have fed Princess earlier and put her down for nap earlier if I had known that! Now she will get maybe an hour & 20 minutes of sleep before I have to put her in the car, and she doesn't transfer and stay asleep like Brother used to. At least she will be excited to see DS, and it is Friday so we don't have to worry about homework.

Anne Marie - What a lucky man your uncle was to have a such a loving "daughter." That was a wonderful tribute to him.

Thanks Elin, He had such an interesting life..Dana & I are always saying we should write a movie about him.

I think I'm coming down with something. Ugh. I woke up at 5 AM and I swear that something had bit my arm. No mark, no nothing I felt nausous at that time, but managed to go back to sleep. Now I have a head cold with that whole head wants to explode thing. My stomach is making all sorts of weird noises and I feel weak. I plan to take it easy today as I really need to work tonight since my schedule has been cut back so much. Hopefully lots of rest a fluids will have me back on my feet by evening

Wow sounds like that persons trip needs a do-over! I felt like the people were nasty in August so maybe T-day is not for me as its more crowded!

I read the article on the CM who died at Ak...I feel terrible..very sad.

Delivery is suppose to be between 1pm - 5pm. I agree up to 8pm seems a little late for a delivery!

May tomorrow be a better day and hopefully Monday and Tuesday will go much easier than expected

I just took a nap with the boys, but it didn't seem to help. I have a throbbing pain in and above my left eye that is sinus related. I know that it is just a head cold so I will deal with it. Hopefully 4 advil will help with that before I head to work. I'm thankful that only a cold has manifested as it could have been much worse. Thanks for the pixie dust.

That stinks! Hope you can enjoy the party tomorrow anyway. I agree with you on the dr. thing. We have a practice with 7 doctors & there is one guy I just don't want. Hope that works out.

Anne Marie - We have been lucky with our August trips so far. I am sure some really rude person is lurking in my future because we haven't ever had a truly horrible experience. I think losing all the ADRs would have been my undoing. I can't handle it when circumstances require deviating from the plan. I don't cope well with that. I am also way to into TS meals to be able to deal with not having what I booked for a 10 day trip! Then to get sick on top of it... I hope they get to go back and have an enjoyable trip.

I think there are 4 peds in the office where I take DS. It is REALLY rare for us to see anyone other than "his" Dr. But I know his Dr. isn't there on Wednesdays so if DS gets sick on a Wed. we'll be seeing someone else. His Dr. is getting on in years so I expect him to retire eventually. Not sure which Dr. we will switch to then, because the one I like best of the others is a female and I don't think DS will go for that!
