Janet - Sorry about the washer. Hopefully nothing else will go wrong for a long time!

Princess and I weren't really paying much attention to staying on a schedule today, so her lunch was kind of late. Her breakfast was late because we were just putzing around, so I figured it all balanced out. Then DH called and said I have to go get DS today. I would have fed Princess earlier and put her down for nap earlier if I had known that! Now she will get maybe an hour & 20 minutes of sleep before I have to put her in the car, and she doesn't transfer and stay asleep like Brother used to. At least she will be excited to see DS, and it is Friday so we don't have to worry about homework.

Seems your out of sorts as well! I hate those days my schedule gets all off.

Robyn, don't apologize for venting! I hate days like that, where everything (large or small) just keeps getting thrown at you! I hope things calm down quickly, or that your weekend is at least somewhat relaxing!

Delivery is suppose to be between 1pm - 5pm. I agree up to 8pm seems a little late for a delivery!

Robyn - Horrible moms don't have parties for their children complete with homemade cupcakes. I can tell you stories about REALLY horrible moms if it will make you feel better.

I just took a nap with the boys, but it didn't seem to help. I have a throbbing pain in and above my left eye that is sinus related. I know that it is just a head cold so I will deal with it. Hopefully 4 advil will help with that before I head to work. I'm thankful that only a cold has manifested as it could have been much worse. Thanks for the pixie dust.

That stinks! Hope you can enjoy the party tomorrow anyway. I agree with you on the dr. thing. We have a practice with 7 doctors & there is one guy I just don't want. Hope that works out.

I think there are 4 peds in the office where I take DS. It is REALLY rare for us to see anyone other than "his" Dr. But I know his Dr. isn't there on Wednesdays so if DS gets sick on a Wed. we'll be seeing someone else. His Dr. is getting on in years so I expect him to retire eventually. Not sure which Dr. we will switch to then, because the one I like best of the others is a female and I don't think DS will go for that!

Dr. Horton is wonderful and things have been a little hairy since March when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. So I've been riding it out but she has finisher her treatment as she has been cleared. Which is obviously great! Lucy has seen Dr. Carter a time or 2 but she is just there basically to fill a spot. She doesn't want to be there it seems. And she is not proactive at all. Dr. Horton stresses out about things and you can feel her concern for the kids. I like knowing that it worries her sometimes. I can tell she cares! The office staff has had a ton of change in the last year. I don't know what to attribute it to. But it's like banging your head against the wall. We had an issue last week with the staff and Dr. Horton called Eric and apologized.
