I'm here!!!! :santa:

The family should be here in another few minutes. It is very foggy. Was raining. I'm so excited. I have a really nice surprise planned for Sunday.:dance3:

My computer is really slow. Might be because I only have 12 minutes left on the battery.

Hope everybody has a wonderful weekend. I'll try to check in.

Stephanie,

I truly know everyone will be surprised on Sunday. Cannot wait to hear how it goes:goodvibes

I couldn't watch it, say's I am missing a plug-in :confused3

Enjoy your evening!

Here's the link to the story that ran this morning on our kids and their guests.

Abi and I are on our own for supper...have to see what she wants to eat and then at 8 our time we are going to watch the Parade of Lights on TV and I think she will be sleeping with me tonight. :goodvibes

Have a great evening all, I need to get ready for work!

hmmmm...worked fine for me earlier and just now.
:confused3

The same site is streaming the parade live. I am such a proud band mama!!:cloud9:

who knows if it will work for me..I may start twitching and have to revert to my old ways:rotfl2:

We really enjoy what you are considering. It is why Chuck wants to go back again. There are so many things that you can do and that you can look forward to. We try to do only our favorite things on every trip. That way it never gets old.

Me too. Chris needs it interveniously, but I can't stand it :rotfl:

Wow. I'm really surprised at all the DDA non-coffee drinkers. Chuck & I also don't drink coffee. I love the smell of it but can't stand the taste. I am a pepsiholic though. I have a pepsi within 5 feet of me within 10 minutes of getting up in the morning and within 10 minutes before I go to bed.

I would love this but I lose keys and keychains so fast I would be bankrupt in about a month:lmao:

That is a neat thing, but probably not very practical for me. I have never lost my keys but I drop them constantly! The wonderful thing about my car being keyless is that I can leave the remote in my purse so it doesn't hit the ground every time I drop the house keys. The remotes to my old car were looking pretty rough when we turned them in.

Robyn - I'm so sorry you had a stressful day. Don't apologize for venting here. That's what friends are for. :goodvibes: Emma's artwork is terrific!

Janet - I hope you like your new washer, even though it was hard to part with the money. Trust me, I know the feeling.

Well, the boys are here and playing quietly. Pizza is on it's way. Bob took Alyssa to ballet for me, and his dd is with them. He will stop and pick up the cake on the way home. Bethany will be here to keep Alyssa entertained. :thumbsup2

:wave2: Stephanie! I can't wait to hear what the surprise is! :goodvibes

Sounds like the evening is off to a terrific start!!:goodvibes

Have a grand time Stephanie!!!

Definitely!!:)

TELL US the surprise, Terry! We won't tell Stephanie's family! I promise!

Have a great evening all, I need to get ready for work!

I hope inventory goes well!

So, Janet & Kristine, guess where my bosses are flying in the morning with Princess? Chicago! I really hope the weather isn't too horrible! They are coming home Sunday, unless they get stuck. Well, Dadboss is staying until Thursday on business, Momboss and Princess are coming home Sunday.

I called our Mortgage officer this morning. Rates have dropped over the last couple of weeks and I wanted to see where we were at rate wise. I have been watching the rates for months and we are finally seeing a nice change. I am so on the fence. The rate now is a tiny bit lower than our current soon to be variable rate and it is a fixed rate :cool1: We can also cut 2 years off our mortgage for about $20 more a month which is a no brainer. For an extra $150 per month we can cut 7 years off the mortgage. There are so many things to consider and I'm such a bargain hunter I hate to lock in when there is potential for another drop. I would love a rate under 6 %. Any advice out there? Clare are you reading? Aren't you a mortgage person now? HELP

Chuck & I pay extra every month on our mortgage. We made sure it was set at something that we knew we could handle if something happened to us for a short time (like on of us losing our job). Then we pay extra to cut off the length of time on the loan. That way we can still pay it off sooner but we are in a better situation if an emergency arises.

we are under a winter storm watch...predicting 1-3 inches...bad part is that they are also predicting ice...it's about 25 degrees here now.

Here is some of Emma's artwork. I think this website is so cool!

That's about our weather too.

It feels colder though....hopefully Jim and Cassidy stay warm.

That sounds very unpleasant. I was just on AccuWeather and they make it sound like it isn't going to be that bad. They said by Sunday it will get up to 45 and rain will end in the morning. BUT whether that actually happens is another thing!

Of course the days leading up to our trip will be BEAUTIFUL in Orlando, highs near 80! The day we arrive the temps plummet to highs in the 60's and stay there.:sad2: I really am a weenie about cold. I hate cold. I'll be packing my long johns for MVMCP because it will be in the 40's. I hope an unexpected heatwave blows in!

I will cross my fingers that accuweather is correct...I am not ready for this yet. I still haven't bought boots for the children

Mine is like Kristine's, it is to old to bother repairing :sad2:

I didn't think of re-spinning them, I will give that a try. Maybe I can make it work a little while longer lol

That is amazing! That just started happening to my washing machine last week-end. It doesn't happen every time but 2 loads out of 8 came out dripping wet and I had to respin. I only had to respin each load once so I am hoping it lasts through the new year anyway.
