Today is our end of year inventory at work. So I will be going in around 7pm tonight. Last year this is when we had our 1st big snow storm & I had a heck of a time getting in our drive way. Guess what, we have a winter storm watch out lol It is not suppose to start till tomorrow morning, so I hope this holds true. We are suppose to have freezing rain, I better put a brick or something behind my tires. I don't want my truck rolling into the street again

I will not have to work tomorrow because we have to get all the paperwork done tonight. Hope everyone makes it in to work tomorrow, I don't plan on budging once I get home

Hi everyone-
Well i just got home from a busy busy day..i went to work first and that was rough ,but im glad i went back today--i missed my kiddos! Then i came home and went right back out--My firemen uncle had a birthday today so we did dinner..then my brother and i went to his girlfriends house to w atch football--DALLAS WON!

But, the best news of the night! My cousin (from colorado) is coming to NJ!!! we talked about it for the week after christmas last month, but the airfare was ridiculous. She texted me today and asked if i still had the week off and said she was seconds away from booking..so she is coming! i think were going to go to NYC and Atlantic City--She will beh ere for her 25th birthday and new years eve! i cannot wait!

Sounds like a wonderful surprise for you. You need something to look forward to

So tonight is the sleepover and Nicholas' 'party'. We are only having 2 boys, so that is good for me! He is so excited for it.

2 boys is the perfect size. Have fun and remember the earplugs

I think I'm coming down with something. Ugh. I woke up at 5 AM and I swear that something had bit my arm. No mark, no nothing I felt nausous at that time, but managed to go back to sleep. Now I have a head cold with that whole head wants to explode thing. My stomach is making all sorts of weird noises and I feel weak. I plan to take it easy today as I really need to work tonight since my schedule has been cut back so much. Hopefully lots of rest a fluids will have me back on my feet by evening

Marci - Hopefully the weather will cooperate for all the sports! 3 games in one day is not my idea of fun. 3 games in the cold rain would be torture. But they are saying we'll be near 70 tomorrow, so if it rains it won't be brutal cold, just icky cold.

Deb - You might want to look at historical MVMCP dates. It looks like they don't run MVMCP at all during the week of Thanksgiving. They have one on Friday the week before, then not again until the Sunday or Monday after. This year was Nov. 16 and 25, and as near as I can tell last year was Nov. 17 and 27.

Marci-I think you've got a great plan for staying over before the soccer games. If the marching band has to play both Friday AND Saturday morning for state next year we are so staying up there!! The 4:30 call time about killed me this year. Good luck for great games!!

I know we are in for crowds during Christmas, but I do get nervous with some of these reports. The boys & I will be fine, it is Gary I worry about. He is not to keen on crowds(I picked the best time to go, didn't I ). I know he will enjoy the resort, so the worst that can happen is he will spend a lot of time there. How is Tambu Lounge Kristine, is it a casual atmosphere or people all dressed up?

Janet - Yikes for your SIL! You can hang things up to dry if you HAVE to, but the heater isn't something you can do without!

Kristine - I remember your juggling to get out of town last year, now that I think about it. I hope Christopher feels better soon!

Deb - I think they turn the castle light on before the park closes, regardless of whether it is MVMCP. If your goal is lights then your dates could still work. If your goal is MVMCP you might have to change dates.

Sorry...I never made it there. We stayed in concierge and I could hardly keep up with the food & liquor there...in passing by, I do not recall people being too dressed up though
