Here is a message that DS wanted me to post

Thanks! You have a new signature picture too, I like it!
Well, I started off with "do you remember when I asked you if you wanted a lot of presents for Christmas and no WDW or a few presents and a trip to WDW". Nicholas said he still wanted a few presents and WDW, and Alyssa said a lot of presents. So I told Alyssa she could stay home with Daddy and that Nicholas and I were going to WDW.....IN 2 WEEKS!!! She quickly decided that she wanted to come too. They were thrilled, and then I started showing them pictures of AKL, and they remembered it from when we were there for dinner at Boma. We had been early and had time to walk around the pool area and all the overlooks. Then I showed them the Color Coded Matrix of FunSo how did the kids react?
Ok just in case I missed anybody, I like all the new Christmas siggys.
We're watching that too. Of course the boys don't remember seeing it before![]()
Jen called a bit ago. Her Dad called her and her Mom earlier this afternoon and her Grandfather had taken a turn for the worst. He was having a lot of difficulty breathing. They are all at the hospital where they will remain until he passes. They started him on a morphine drip earlier this evening and said it was only a matter of hours now. She sounded really good and didn't want anyone wondering where she was. The family is at peace with the fact that the time has come since he has been clearly suffering for days.
I like your sig Chris. Did you do that or did you have some help?Me too. My favorite Christmas show.![]()
Very nice, Deb. That looks like a lot of work. I'm glad you had some help.My evening project

Colby was so excited to be putting up the village. The first box had the skating rink in it. He helped me carry things up from the basement and helped me empty the boxes. Then he talked about how he was going to teach Daddy the Christmas spirit and made him help too. It was too cute.
We also watched Grid Iron Gang tonight on DVD. It was actually a touching story and had me in tears during parts. Who would of thought that a movie starring the Rock would bring me to tears![]()
Very nice, Nick. I see we have another DISigner in our midst. Here is a message that DS wanted me to post

Hope Dana was feeling better for the holiday.Dana went to bed, the poor guy is sick. He never has a minute to rest so I insisted ne try to get to bed early.
Oh I forgot to say..Sophie was picked to be the lead angel at out Christmas pageant at church. She is soooo excited, she gets to sing.
Wow! I agree with whoever (can't remember now who) said he should be appologizing to you too!PS: My FIL apologized to DH
So did you survive today?Hey strangers...
Hope everyone is enjoying their thanksgiving. I know we are as we have many things to be thankfull for this year. Specifically the one sleaping on the living room floor right now.
However I'm not sure how thankfull I am for tomorrow... I turn 40 and that is a real Black Friday!
Congrats on the Wii. Tell DH I'm expecting to see some great photos when you get home! Just not too great cause then I'll want a dSLR too.DH got his dSLR camera. It's a 10 mp Olympus. We think it dropped another $100 overnight. DH and I both thought it was $600 yesterday, and today it was $500.Works for me. He is trying to get it out of the package now. I want him to practice with it so he is comfortable using it at WDW in 19 days!

So while we were waiting for DH to go grab a cart we stumbled across a big display of Wii bundles. The same thing I was looking at online yesterday. So we bought that, too. DS says he understands he will not be allowed to play with it until Christmas morning. We stopped by Toys R Us but their sale on Wii games is over. Please post if anyone sees them on sale between now and Christmas.![]()
Have a great trip! Stay healthy!!!Happy Thanksgiving (a day late), and Happy Black Friday, DDA!
The last 48 hours have been an absolute whirlwind, but this time tomorrow, I will be on a plane, just 1 hour away from Orlando, if all goes according to plan!
Glad that wasn't as bad as you had feared it could be. The kids must be so excited! The kids just left with their dad. I reminded him about the trip. I got the rolled eyes, but no grief. YAY! So now it seems really real. I don't have to worry anymore about him canceling my AKLV ressie, and the kids now know. 16 MORE DAYS!!!!
I'm guessing she doesn't have to bid?It is PAINFULLY obvious that they are NOT bidding for vacation on Monday. They haven't even distributed seniority lists yet. DH says the girl who is in charge now isn't the same person who did bids the Monday after Thanksgiving. Last year they didn't bid until 12/11, and I thought it was because they were in the process of swithcing a bunch of drivers around and it was a big mess. DH says that apparently this girl prefers to run the bids later in December.
I hope bids are done before we go to WDW so IF they are still offering Bounce Back I can try to book that.
How nice!Jenn -- my SIL found a Cowboys blanket on an endcap at Wal-Mart today.
Awesome!My evening project

Very nice, Nick. I see we have another DISigner in our midst.
I just got home from seeing Beauty and the Beast at our Dinner Theater. The show was outstanding. Bob' mom really enjoyed it as well. She loves the theater. She will be going home tomorrow and Bob and I will head out to do some shopping. I still have to buy for my parents and I have no idea what to get them. So I best get to sleep because I know he will be here at the buttcrack of dawn.
Good night.
If he remembers, when he intercepted the original confirmation from DVC, Bob and Bethany's name was on the ressie, so he should know. He says the kids always talk about Bob and how much they like having him around, and when he says it I can't help but hear an underlying tone about the fact that I have moved on with my life. Like you said, he is the one that left, so I really don't care what he thinks, as long as it doesn't interfere with my life.Tammi I'm glad that x2b took the trip well. How will he take the news that Bob and his daughter joined you? I'm sure he will hear it from the kids eventually. I really hope that he isn't a jerk, he walked out after all, but I could see him making an issue of it.![]()
I went to Circuit City this morning and it was CRAZY!!!!! I just wanted a few Nintendo DS games and I was going to get my friend the SD card for her nephew who she bought a camera for and a camera case for $2.99. They only had something like 3 cashiers. I stood in line for at least 20 minutes and it didn't move and they didn't even have all the games I wanted so I gave up. There were 3 police cruisers in the parking lot and the cops were speaking to someone.Vicki, circuit city has a 2GB sd card for $6.99 after rebate online today.![]()
Congrats on your finds! You must be a lot of fun to be with on Black Friday! I imagine you're a lot of fun to be with anyday!!!!!What a great Black Friday shopping adventure!!!![]()

We left the house by 5:30 and were home a little before 11....we then slept and slept and woke up to see CU finish whomping Nebraska.
We got:
the sewing machine
Abi's Christmas outfit
assorted DVD's
and I think I like Best Buy's new ticketing system. If items that needed tickets weren't bought by ticket holders they opened it up to the general public and I got an MP3 player!!![]()
The biggest line was the Disney Store....and that was a whopping 10 minutes. their black Friday stuff was awesome!!! We've never been on BF.
We hit 7 stores (Best Buy twice) in less than 5 hours...I like the lousy ads...makes for less crowds!!![]()
