Oh, one more thing I need to share. Evidently Bob told his mom all about our trip in October...bits of information about shows, attractions and stuff. So she says to me "since you go so often have you been able to figure out how they do some of the things?" Before I had a chance to answer Bob says "It's Disney magic, Mother." He just might be 'getting it.' :goodvibes

I love it! You got him hooked for certain, now! I am glad he is looking forward to going back with you and the kids.

We're off to Ottawa to visit the inlaws for Thanksgiving. I'll probably be on some, but I never can quite predict the plans there. Usually it's pretty laid back, but if I don't pop back on have a great weekend! :goodvibes

I hope you have a nice visit. Are you going to have another reveal there?

This was almost exactly what I was going to post! You said it so well, Tammi, that I just quoted you. ;)

Looks good to me Elin :thumbsup2

I liked all the festive siggys when I got on here this a.m. too. I am working on mine as it needed to be resized a couple of times. Now my cookies have the larger size "locked-in" and I don't know if it is small enough yet or not! :confused3

Have a great day all, I need to get going!

Good morning all...

I am happy to hear that everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving and all the fun of shopping on Friday.

We had a nice day. Well most of it anyway- Emma somehow pulled Molly's elbow out of socket early Thursday morning. :sad2: So Mo and I spent a good bit of the late morning at the weekend clinic. This is the 3rd time it's happened so the dr says that her pediatrician will probably recommend seeing an ortho. The 3 times it has happened we haven't been able to see her pediatrician- weekend, night and a holiday. But once the dr. put in back in place it was fine and we continued on with our day.

Dinner was lovely and my in-laws were pretty tolerable. After dinner the girls, Eric and I headed to my aunt's on my mom's side for dessert and our Christmas present exchange. Lots of fun.

Then Joe, my cousin from Dallas, came back here for the night and we spent the time catching up and just hanging out. Molly and Emma spent the night at my in-laws, I have no idea what got into them.:rolleyes1

Not much shopping yesterday. Joe, Lucy and I headed to the mall in search of Lucy's christening gown. I did manage to get into Bath and Body works for some Wallflowers, not terribly exciting. We then had lunch and came home.

Later though Eric and I went to Home Depot to buy a new refrigerator and we managed to get a great deal completely by accident. The fridge we were looking at had a sign on it for $899. When they put the order in the price came up $1099. They gave us the lower price and we got an extra 10% off and free delivery!! I am so excited over a stupid fridge :rotfl:

Lucy and I went to my aunt' house, Joe's mom, for dinner. We had Blackberry roly poly. It is something my grandmom used to make once a year. Blackberries wrapped in dough and then boiled. Once it's done we serve it with a white sauce, milk, sugar and cinnamon. Sounds weird but it's yummy and we haven't had it for a long time.

Came home and did some laundry and went to bed. Not a whole lot accomplished but a good few days. Today though I need to reclaim my house, we have Christmas light boxes everywhere, just our outside is done. And I need to dust and just get the house in a little more order for tomorrow. I need to go shopping for the food and stuff as well. And Emma has a Girl Scout cookie booth too!

Wow, sorry that was long!!!

I closed out my browser and changed to the Holiday skin on the DIS and my little siggy looks very festive and complete! The color even matches! :goodvibes:

Robyn -- Glad Thanksgiving went relatively well and you got a chance to visit with so many relatives.

Kristin dislocated her elbow at WDW when she was 20 months old. Our pediatrician at the time said that once it happened there was an increased chance it would continue to happen until the bones were more fully developed. So, he taught me how to "reset" it so we wouldn't have to keep coming into the ER or his office. I had to do it about 3 times until she finally outgrew it. But, she has told me that sometimes it still gives her a twinge. I would ask the pediatrician if the treatment is the same before spending time and money heading to the ortho!

Nick what a wonderful design, Merry Christmas to you!

Tammi your kids are really gong to be surprised when you tell them about Bob & his dd!

Jennifer enjoy your weekend with the inlaws!
And yay for the reveal. You had me in tears as well

Elin nice to see you posting, sounds like you had a relaxing Thanksgiving :goodvibes Elin- we fixed your fried corn and it was a hit. Emma loved it especially. Thanks for sharing!!

Bernadette sounds like you had fun at Kohls!

Thanks Janet, Ditto what she said.

Also....

Jen- You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. :grouphug:

Elizabeth- Tell your DH congrats on the camera. Eric said he'll be over to play with your Wii (that sounds a little strange :rotfl:). He choose the grill over the Wii. Can you let me know when tickets for the King Tut go on sale. I do believe Emma and I will be trekking to Dallas for a weekend.

Heidi- I think you asked what grill we got. We got the Weber Spirit E310. It is a gas grill. We already have a Weber kettle charcoal grill that we love.

Thanks Elin. We have to take Lucy in for a recheck on her ears later in the week so I'll definitely ask her. I wish they would show me.

Yep, he just got here so I need to get moving.

I hope you all have a great day!

Have fun!!

I am off here for a bit. Jen - you and your family are in my thoughts this morning....
