Hi all! Last night went well. I waited until right before dinner to give them out, got made fun of for making Thanksgiving Cards , and then they were all thrilled. My mom shrieked "TWO?!" so loud that nobody else could finish reading their cards without a bit of confusion, but all in all it went well My little sister was tearing up, which says a lot for her!

I didn't realize your kids did not know about the trip, they are going to be so excited! that xdh2b is not a bonehead about it.

Sometime today I'm going to tell the kids we are going to WDW in 2 weeks. I just don't know how to do it. Since I didn't put a lot of planning into it there won't be much fanfare. Then tonight when their dad picks them up I need to remind him about it. We haven't spoken of it for months so I'm sure he's forgotten. I hope he doesn't give me any grief. If you wouldn't mind, I could use any extra pd that might be laying around.

We got back from shopping around 10:30. We bought most of the things that we wanted and can certainly do without the rest. Overall the crowds were managable. I think that I really need to start wrapping soon. I plan to take a nap now then I'll work on doing some decorations while the house is still dust free TTYL

So how did the kids react?

The kids just left with their dad. I reminded him about the trip. I got the rolled eyes, but no grief. YAY! So now it seems really real. I don't have to worry anymore about him canceling my AKLV ressie, and the kids now know. 16 MORE DAYS!!!!

I did stop at Walgreen's this morning. I bought six 22-oz candles for $16!

We went to WalMart this afternoon, it was busy but not so bad that you couldn't get around. They do however need more cashiers.

Great game yesterday! i mean, it was a boring game to watch since we won by so much , but i was happy with the result!

Mom and I went out shopping today. Mom got most of her Christmas shopping finished. I bought some fleece pj pants for the girls for Christmas. I used my Shopko birthday gift card to buy the most beautiful purple jogging suit. It was 50% off. I absolutely love it and it will work out nicely for Disney. The pants have pockets and the jacket would make a nice fall jacket. I just have to find a nice light purple shirt to go with it. I think they have just the thing at Michael's.

Well, if DH goes to WDW and comes home separately then it won't be a problem because we won't have all of the luggage in the car at once. If he is joining us on either flight we'll have a problem.

It is PAINFULLY obvious that they are NOT bidding for vacation on Monday. They haven't even distributed seniority lists yet. DH says the girl who is in charge now isn't the same person who did bids the Monday after Thanksgiving. Last year they didn't bid until 12/11, and I thought it was because they were in the process of swithcing a bunch of drivers around and it was a big mess. DH says that apparently this girl prefers to run the bids later in December. I hope bids are done before we go to WDW so IF they are still offering Bounce Back I can try to book that.

Jennifer glad your family liked your cards I thought they were great.

Virginia and I went to best buy at 6am and got to MP3 players then to sears for digital tire gauges. To Jcpennys but no luck on the houseshoes to small for Olivia. Met Jeff at Chicfila to pick up Olivia off to the disney store got Olivia some house shoes and some more ornaments for the tree. CVS for a couple of things and then home.

We left the house by 5:30 and were home a little before 11....we then slept and slept and woke up to see CU finish whomping Nebraska .

We got:

the sewing machine
Abi's Christmas outfit
assorted DVD's

and I think I like Best Buy's new ticketing system. If items that needed tickets weren't bought by ticket holders they opened it up to the general public and I got an MP3 player!!

The biggest line was the Disney Store....and that was a whopping 10 minutes. their black Friday stuff was awesome!!! We've never been on BF.

We hit 7 stores (Best Buy twice) in less than 5 hours...I like the lousy ads...makes for less crowds!!

Abi received her box from Leslie today!!

She says Thank you!! She loves the goodies and is excited because the scent seems not to make her sneeze.

I will post pics later. Abi loves the ornament and jelly bracelet!!
