I need to do some laundry. I need to put the fabric for DS's science project near the washer because it needs to start accruing "washes". I am going to mark on each piece with a Sharpie so I can track how many times each piece has been laundered. The specifications say the flame-resistance should be good for 50 washes. I don't think I am going to manage to wash any of the pieces 50 times.

That cover idea was a crafty coworker's idea. She's not married and has no kids. She's welcome to make some covers if she wants. Actually I think the cards will work better in a coupon sorter than with a ring.

My new washer that takes so much longer than the dryer is throwing off my laundry groove. It does a great job cleaning the clothes but it takes so long.

OK...really off to go pack or make those last 2 T's.

Good luck with the flame-resistance washing. I'll see if I can remember next week to ask the public education folks about flame-resistance fabrics next week.

We are having a big celebratory lunch on Monday for the Red Sox win. Should be fun!

Just popping in for a quick minute. High School Musical on Ice was much better than I was anticipating. The girls loved it. I got some great shots and will try to post some later.

I need to head back out to pick up Emma and Molly from my mom's. Emma and I are headed to a play tonight- You're a good man Charlie Brown. We are going with Gail, her nephew is playing Schroeder. Should be fun but a late night.

Glad to see that Rees is doing well.

DH and DS went out to the lake for awhile. They better come back soon or they won't have enough time to shower before we go to dinner. We're meeting our friends at Buca di Beppo. We've never eaten there before but it is literally within walking distance for us. We got a $10 promo gift card in the mail so we decided to give it a try. I've reminded the guys that DS doesn't know about Disney next month. I told them they can tell DS THEY are going, they just can't tell him HE is going. I think it will be a nice evening. I still haven't heard about their trip to Spain.

Deb, please thank Hunter for DS's ornaments!! (And thank you for helping! ) I'll have to post a pic later. He already put the pin in his pin book. The snowman and Goofy are so cute! I think he will put the snowman on his bedroom door.

For AP holders - the new Mickey Monitor is up on the Passholder site. I haven't gotten one in the mail yet.

We had a great time at the Pow-Wow. Stephanie, I did try the fry bread. It was good, but man is it heavy. Sat in my stomach like a lead balloon. We got a lot of pictures. I'll post some later. Then we did some errands and got the poster board for his project.

Lindsay, If your BIL and SIL are having money problems, then it is definitely better they not go this trip.

I am sorry your brother is still on his quest to move to Florida, with no plan other then he wants to become a tattoo artist.

Yes, it is. Unfortunately, they've had a lot of time to correct some things, but we're all beginning to think my SIL has some serious shopping/spending issues, and my BIL won't do anything about it. They're just about drowning in debt at this point. Something additional happened last week that we're hoping has woken my BIL up, but it remains to be seen. It is not a good situation. It's not even my life, but the thought of it breaks me out into a cold sweat!

Thanks for the kind words for my brother. We'll just have to see what happens.

I'm trying, and hope that I will. My nieces called me last night, and are getting very excited. I made them a countdown chain, so they know exactly how many days they have to go. My DN4 though was asking me out of the blue if the witch from Snow White was going to be anywhere - "she's so mean - she POISONED Snow White", so I think we'll definitely be steering clear of Snow White's Scary Adventures, and I'll have to warn her during Fantasmic.

We are off to the zoo a little later today. Terra is SO excited about her Daddy coming with us. She's been talking about the possibility for months and now he actually is! She gets the biggest grin on her face whenever it is mentioned. She also gets to make something at Build-A-Bear at the zoo so it's even better. I'm thinking so Ted Drewes on the way home to top it all off will make it just perfect. (Wouldn't you agree, Jennifer. )

For now, though, I'm off to get some breakfast and read a little before Terra gets up.

Jen - I haven't made it to Wal-Mart yet today, but I did stop by JC Penney's (based on Elizabeth's comments), and Dick's Sporting Goods. The fleece they had at Penney's was $60 ; they also had a woven throw on sale for either $24 or $29 - I can't remember. Dick's didn't have any blankets (although they had just about everything else). There's also an "official Dallas Cowboy's store" near me, but I would wager anything they have is going to be the expensive stuff, but I can check if you want me to. I'll try to swing by Wal-Mart when I go out again shortly.

I just got out of bed. I have two more loads of laundry to do to catch up from my trip.

As soon as my DD gets back with the kids, we are going to work on the grocery list. I have all of the ingredients for my game day jambalya. And what a game!

I'll be thinking of you Jen. No trash talk from me. We're in last place and both of our coach's kids are in jail.

I hope you're getting everything accomplished, Stephanie! If nothing else, the "to do" lists take the pressure off my brain to remember everything rattling around in it! The one I made last night is over 5 typed pages, but it is EXHAUSTIVE, with stuff to do immediately, stuff to do before the trip, stuff to do before the end of the year, and then longer range stuff.

I feel really sorry for Andy Reed. That's just sad.

I still haven't made a reservation yet. I think I'll call this weekend. I'm thinking of May 3rd to May 10th. I haven't even thought of ADR's. I don't think I'll make too many as Emma is so picky. I'll have to do something for my birthday though on 5/6.

We're scheduled right now for 5/1-5 at the Poly. I didn't make a ton of arrangements - just a meal each day (some old favorites, a couple of new things), and I made arrangements for us to do the Segway tour. Figured it would be fun to do during the F&GF.

And Texas wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We scored 21 points in the 4th quarter to win with a last-minute field goal. We always get down to this team (particularly when we're playing at their home), but I didn't think we had the talent to come back this year.

Are you sure she should go? I wasn't so sure about Emma but she wouldn't go to the potty so I told her she'd have to go back to the resort with DH. I suppose you'll have enough adults that someone could leave with her if you had to.

Cool! I love the Poly. I'm sure we'll be at Pop though Emma does ask to go back to the resort with the beach (the Poly). Maybe we could meet up? I did the Segway last May during the F&GF and it was great.

Epcot T's are made. My checked bag is nearly packed. Just need to find my Croc flip flops. There is even a little bit of room so I can stuff our jackets in the checked bag once we get to the airport.

Now I need to work on the carryon.

I did loads and loads of laundry today. Did the kids' comforter covers and got the comforters back in them-not an easy task. Did the kids winter coats. And the huge pile from the week. I still have a few more loads to do but have hope that I will finish it this weekend.

Our lights have been flickering with the storm so hopefully we won't loose electricity so I can finish the laundry.

OH...and I finished the hat I was knitting Joe. It came out really cute. It is a bit too big but not so big that it is in his eyes. He loves it.

Off to tackle more laundry and my carry on packing.

Dinner was good! And our friends played it off just like I asked. They talked about going to MVMCP, asked what the weather was like when we went last year, never once acted like DS was going to be there. It was great!

They said Spain was beautiful and they had great weather, but the people were very rude. One of my friends is from Puerto Rico so he is fluent in Spanish, but apparently that didn't help! They met up with another friend of theirs who is from the UK, but he lives in Germany. He might be fluent in Spanish too, because he is a teacher. They had a terrible time getting service in the restaurants, and they had a hard time at the airport, too. They asked someone (an employee) where they needed to go to check in for their flight (the taxis were striking so they had to take the train and they were late). The guy said "Not here." Which made me laugh when they told the stoary but if an airline employee said that to me I would be furious. They ended up missing that flight, they had to pay a huge chunk of money to get on another flight, not a good situation all around.

Bernadette - I am impressed that you got Joe's hat finished!

Lindsay - DS makes a point to never be impressed by anything. I don't know if he will be impressed by being picked up from school and taken to WDW to meet up with his favorite uncles or not. I guess we'll see in 39 days!
