I found out this morning that my grandmother passed away at midnight.

Rees update...

Rees slept until 11:30am. He did great with his feeds last night, and he has eaten solid food! For dinner he had really creamy mac-n-cheese, applesauce, and 2 mini cupcakes. Today he's had milk and one of those giant chocolate choc chip muffins. It's all soft, but it's way better than ice cream 24-7~ At dinner he did vomit a little of the mac-n-cheese tonight, but it has been the best day he's had in a long time!!!

It's wonderful to be home, and I'm going back to work next Tuesday. John's going to stay home with him on Tues/Fri until he goes back to school. I'm ready for some "normalcy".

I'm off for the night, as far as I know. I finally tried to start "decorating" yesterday, although all I accomplished was pulling all of the (many!) boxes up from the basement. Today, I thought I'd finish. Well, I have, um, emptied the boxes!

Our mantle looks about right, and I have a few things put out that were easy to do (read: I remember where the heck they went, or at least found a comparable spot!)

Oh, I am on pins and needles for you!!!!!

With all of our pregnancies there has been the possibility of multiple births. In fact, Katie could have been triplets, and Jacob could have been quads. However, we dodged that bullet, so when we went in for the first u/s with our 3rd pregnancy, we weren't prepared. The technician took one look, took the wand off my stomach, and said, "there's a reason we have women lying down during the ultraound....so when we tell them they are having twins they don't fall down." It was such a shock!!! I think it took Alan several minutes to deal with it. I had figured something was different, since I was only 9 weeks along and my pants were already feeling tight.

I will be crossing my fingers for you until I hear!!! Take care of yourself tonight!!!

Thank you Jennifer for my pirate ornaments. I love them. Sorry I was difficult to find things for. I am thinking about now doing a pirate tree for my desk. Maybe instead I should do a Caribbean themed tree with my ornaments I got on my cruise. I still have to get a tree for my desk. I had a small one but somehow I think it got thrown out. That or it is out gallivanting with Elin's tree somewhere. I hope they're not doing the tree tango somewhere.

We ended up with about 6 inches of snow. But most other areas around here had about 1-2 inches. I tend to get more, it might be because we live near Blue Marsh lake, but I can't imagine it is big enough to make a real difference.
