I can't even begin to scratch the surface of that answer right now! :rotfl: Mostly, I feel much better on the lower doses of progesterone. I don't sleep (obviously) which sucks, I'm still sick but onlyfor small periods of time ( ), I'm losing weight like mad (which is fine for a while, but still frustrating), and I'm exhausted most of the time.

That being said, that's all great compared to the other crap going on! Prayers for this pregnancy are first and foremost in my mind. But I'm also going through some real heck at work, and questioning whether it's time to find a new job. That kills me, because my job was dropped in my lap as it could only have been appointed by God. It was absolutely PERFECT, and still has some really great qualities to it. But it effectively ruins many days, including yesterday.

And to add to that, I see my husband about 90 minutes every day for the last 8 weeks, and about the next 4. I always hate the life of a residency wife, but usually suck it up because it seems to pass so quickly with monthly rotations. But lately, they've all been back to back crap, so last night was the first night in - literally - 16 days that I was going to spend any time with Kyle. Well, after being on night float and being up since 4pm Wednesday, they called him in to clinic yesterday morning with no regards to a) the fact that he was "off" and b) the fact that he had just worked 15 hours. So he stayed up about 28 hours, but couldn't swing it any more by about 7:00 pm. So we had pizza and I ran errands and then played sudoku on my birthday evening that we had been anticipating so long! (To be fair, Amy offered to take me out, but I refused to take her up on the offer.... poor Kyle already was trying to hard to make it "right" :sad1: ) That all also makes it awfully hard for us to be excited (and, if I may be honest... haha ... it makes him very hard to be supportive when I freak out about things) and is putting a strain, albeit a small one, on the little bit of time we DO see one another.

So, there you have (some of) it! :rotfl: My life effectively has enough little crap going on that I would be (and maybe am) going out of my mind, but I just try and eat a little bit and hope that a heartbeat or two on ultrasound will put it all into perspective in a few days.... and just try to hold it together until then.

I'm QUITE sure you didn't want that kind of answer, but it felt nice to vent! :sad1:

I'm so sorry that things with your job are not going the way you had anticipated! I know you were so excited about it at first. Hopefully things will smooth out for you.

I have so much respect for wives of residents! What you all have to put up with is incredible! My cousin went through his residency a few years ago, and it was murder on his wife. She had to deal with living in a new place, with no family around, 3 small boys, and pregnant with baby number 4. Doug was on a rotation when she went into labor with Liberty, and the only way he found out was when the ER doctor paged him to let him know his wife had come in to the ER with the baby halfway delivered!

How much longer does Kyle have on his residency? Just remember to try to keep calm. You really need to treat yourself well for the next little while. I'm praying for you every day!

Thanks for all the compliments on the photos/TR. I've uploaded day 2 photos so I'll try to post that day later today.

Work is still busy, now they are saying that we might have to work Thanksgiving and the Friday after! Yuck! The money would be excellent, but I really want to spend the holiday with my family!
:wizard: Hope you get some family time!

We had the hardest time trying to get her to take it. I think more ended up under her neck. Molly has an intolerance to penicillin based meds. She had a horrible diaper rash from the time I started formula feeding her and her reflux went into overdrive. I finally did a ton of research and it was the ARA component in the new formulas that have a mold in them. Once I put her on unenhanced formula her bottom cleared up and her reflux got a lot better. Weird! Her dr. now was impressed I was able to figure it out. We were in between our original dr and a temp one for about 4 months til we could get into our current dr. The interim one was the worse dr I've ever seen. They thought I was a lunatic! Lucy so far has no problems with DHA/ARA formulas.
We had both Joe & Lizzy skin tested. A penicillin alergy is NOT heriditary. They are actually alergic to different components. Joe's reaction was so severe they suggested a medic alert bracelet for him but I'm thinking he's more likely to hurt himself with that then he is to be administered penicillin without our knowledge. Maybe when he's older he should get one.

Emma has only had penicillin 1 time and got a nasty diaper rash from it. That was Lizzy's first reaction too. It was the 2nd time Lizzy had it that she had the more serious reaction so I'm thinking the jury is still out on Emma. Lizzy had to have a substitute one time and my copayment on that was something like $50. Lucky for us between the 3 kids they've only had 5 incidents when they've needed something. I'm pretty sure Emma has had a few minor ear infections but only for a night or 2. I haven't brought her to the doctor because I could NEVER administer the antibiotic and I'm afraid the infection would just get worse if we only got to take a little bit of it. We've done everything we can think of to get her to take but even when we sucessfully get it down her throat she vomits it right back out. She can be a bit stuborn-wonder where she gets that trait from.;)

:wizard: Good luck gettin Lucy to take her meds. Hope she find relief soon!!!

IDH just called and said Sam's has some weird plan to have him work Wednesday night after they close, but then he won't have to go in at all Friday morning. So he'll have to work 2 shifts Wed. but he'll be off Thur, Fri, and Sat!
That is great!

Beautiful but you can keep it for now!

Not Heidi, but you may gladly have some of my snow. I could post similar pictures. It is still snowing here, it had stopped but is definitely snowing again.

I am off to clean off my car and head to work. I am happy I don't have to drive to Allentown today.:thumbsup2

Have a great day everyone.
Glad you've got a short commute today!

Well, it is raining here. The worst thing is that it is just above freezing - 35 degrees. Not good! That means there will be lots of accidents today when the sun goes down and it starts to freeze.
:scared1: Drive carefully! It was snowing on my way to work but it was 39 here so no driving hazards.

Anyone with a digital picture frame....

What size do you have? Do you like that size? What is the minimum you would get?

Also, what size memory card is good?

We're looking at one for my grandma and wanted to see what everyone else thought of theirs.

Thanks!!

I'd like to know, too. Also, are there any features that are good to have? I think that I want to buy one for my parents this Christmas.

Most definitely.

I knew that you would feel this way, Heidi! I swear, we are twins just born to different families!

By the way, I'm making pecan pie this week. Shall I take a picture for you?;)

Here is my response from JetBlue. I would really like to hear from the MCO manager. I don't know if it worth pursuing any more though.

Dear Bernadette,

Thank you for contacting us about your recent JetBlue Airways experience at the Orlando Airport. We regret the circumstances that prompted your letter to us, but appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.

Your feedback is most important, as we realize that our customers are our most valued resource. When we are not meeting your expectations, it is critical that we know which areas we are falling short in, and make the necessary changes to ensure our customers continued support.

It is our goal to always extend extraordinary customer service, and we regret that on this occasion your needs and your expectations were not met. For this, we sincerely apologize. We have forwarded a copy of your letter to the General Manager in MCO so that your concerns may be reviewed and addressed with these MCO crewmembers. As you know from past experience, this is not typical of the level of service we strive to maintain.

We are happy to hear that your concerns were addressed quickly and appropriately when you called and spoke to our reservations supervisor over the phone, and that she was able to get your vouchers issued to you at that time.

Bernadette, we want you to know how much we appreciate your support, and know that without you and our many other valued customers, we would not be the airline we are today. We realize that this experience has not left you with the most positive feeling about JetBlue, and we look forward to providing you with a renewed and positive JetBlue experience when you fly with us again in January.

Sincerely,
Krist

Bernadette - Hmm. I don't quite know what to make of that letter.:confused3 Hopefully the employees at MCO will get in trouble. I doubt you will hear anything else unless you really hound them, and even then, it would probably be basically the same letter from the MCO Mgr. Good luck!

We are finished with all of our errands and I fed Princess some lunch. She is SUPPOSED to be napping, but it is "party in the crib" time instead. The housekeeper will be here any minute, and then it will be too noisy for her to sleep so she better quit fooling around. She was falling asleep in the car between stops but now she seems to have her second wind!

Susan called me earlier and said she is feeling fine. She was out running errands. She was curious how the birthday party went yesterday. They were invited but they didn't end up attending and she knew I was planning to go.

We're supposed to be 73 today and 39 by Thursday. Craziness!

(Heidi - Can I have some of your snow?!?!)

Sounds like weird weather everywhere! But, Heidi (and Becky)... you can KEEP all that white stuff!! :rotfl:

I don't have one, but I just bought 2 of them (6 inch) for my siblings and their families for Christmas. I also purchased 1 GB cards to put all the photos from our October WDW trip on. Hopefully I will find the time to do it now!!

We got our DVC contracts today. Unfortunately, they have the wrong middle initial for Chuck so we can't sign them. We have to wait for another set. However, we have reviewed everything and can sign them as soon as they get here.

Bummer, hope your new contracts arrive soon!

For those that have stayed at the Polynesian, do they sell 1/2 gallons of milk in their shops? I was going to place an order with Garden Grocer for milk, water, soda, ect., but Staples has free shipping through Dec. 26th. So I think I will order the water through them again. I just need to figure out how to get the milk. I am thinking I can ship Gary's soda(he is a Mt. Dew man)with our Christmas stuff :confused3

::yes:: to both.

My sister said she is making one. We shall see.

I knew that you would feel this way, Heidi! I swear, we are twins just born to different families!

Hi, DDA!

Lots of :wizard: :yay: :grouphug:  all around!

Denise - so glad Rees is home!

Jen -  for you and your family. I ditto what everyone else has said. I'm so sorry that it's happening this time of year, though - it makes it especially hard.

Bernadette - great pics and start to the TR!

Robyn - hope Lucy is feeling better!

Elizabeth - hope you kick the cold! I don't think our zany weather is going to help matters much this week. I feel like I have one just about to come on, but seem to be keeping it away with all the random medications I keep throwing in my body!

Heidi and Becky - be careful in that snow! I do love your pics, Heidi, but then again, snow is such a novelty to us, even in north Texas, that I love the thought of it. Of course, snow in these parts usually means that the world shuts down, so I also equate it with not having to go to work! :rotfl: I would likely feel differently if I had to go about "normal" life in it, I'm sure.

Janet - I'm fairly certain that you can get small bottles of milk at the Poly. I've never looked specifically, but I would bet it's upstairs in the store near the monorail entrance, across from the Kona Cafe (Samoa Snacks might be the name?). Have you checked Tiki Man's site? He might have something about it. Or, I bet you could call the resort, and ask the front desk. It seems like all deluxes have this sort of thing somewhere on the resort grounds.

ETA: just looked at his site. Go to the "Shopping" tab, and scroll down to the description of Samoa Snacks. There aren't exact pictures or a mention, but I would guess they carry milk.

Thank you Lindsay! I did not even think to check his site :thumbsup2

Vicki - did I hear you mention DVC?? WELCOME HOME! Which resort will you be calling home?

I've started my trip report and will be making a concerted effort to finish this one! :rotfl:

I'll try and stop by again soon - but right now my bed is calling me... my last day in my current job tomorrow so it could be an emotional day!

Was it Muppets 4D? I thought it was 3D :confused3

Hmm, one of those questions just doesn't seem right to me - I'm going to have to check on it. Also seems quite outdated, since it talks of E-Ride Nights (I remember those fondly!).

I got 11/20. There were a few that I changed my mind on, and my initial thought was correct.

Jen,

I just wanted to say that you and your family will be in my prayers as you go through this very trying time. Lots of hugs :grouphug: :grouphug:

Debbie
