Poor Lucy Between the 2 girls they had 1 ear infection but I have babysat lots that have had them...it's the worst.

Loving the trip report.

Wow, only 1! Molly had them every month from the time she was 6 months old til 18 months old. Then they put the tubes in her ears and I think she has only had 1 since then.

Emma had them frequently but not like Mo.

They are home, good night!

I can say that I honestly didn't take advantage of the VS deal! Although DW would have probably liked something!

Work is still busy, now they are saying that we might have to work Thanksgiving and the Friday after! Yuck! The money would be excellent, but I really want to spend the holiday with my family!

I know that I missed a bunch in my quick skim through!

Oh, I hope to get my ornament exchange out on Tuesday! I have been so busy with work lately, that I haven't had time to get to the Post Office!

I love eggnog.

DS and DH just came in from playing outside. I was brushing my teeth. DS asked me what I was doing and I told him I don't like eggnog. Turns out he doesn't like it, either! He wanted to taste it, so DH gave him some. I guess DH likes it. Blech!

Ok, I asked Chuck to see if I could be helpful. Here's his insight: If you want the kids to be distracted before you leave so they are out of your hair while you are getting ready to go, give it to them before. However, if you need them to be doing stuff, wait until you get back. Is that more helpful?

I forgot to mention this, but do you live in the SNOW belt! Geesh, the snow is pretty, but I am not ready for it yet. I still have a ton of leaves to rake!

Oh... Eggnog... I can take it or leave it! The last time DW got some, she didn't check the expiration date, apparently I didn't either! Now spoiled eggnog is not a tasty treat! I lost my taste for it since then.

I do like Eggnog flavored Ice cream though!

Good morning all..i am headedto work, then down the shore..and the big news of the day is my brother is coming home!! He has fire class tonight but he is headed to the hospital right from the airport..i know he is relieved there were no phone calls in the middle of the night

Forgot to say.... hope the meds kick in quick for Lucy! I used to get ear infections all the time as a kid. I've been so lucky with my kids-especially since Joe & Lizzy are alergic to penicillin.

We had the hardest time trying to get her to take it. I think more ended up under her neck. Molly has an intolerance to penicillin based meds. She had a horrible diaper rash from the time I started formula feeding her and her reflux went into overdrive. I finally did a ton of research and it was the ARA component in the new formulas that have a mold in them. Once I put her on unenhanced formula her bottom cleared up and her reflux got a lot better. Weird! Her dr. now was impressed I was able to figure it out. We were in between our original dr and a temp one for about 4 months til we could get into our current dr. The interim one was the worse dr I've ever seen. They thought I was a lunatic! Lucy so far has no problems with DHA/ARA formulas.

Thanks. She slept through the night so that's good! Mom and dad though are very tired. Dad is very grumpy and bitter he had to go to the dr.s

If anyone has some spare PD for Susan I would appreciate it! She is having health problems related to the horrible complications she had with her liver during her 2nd pregnancy. Her DH is being laid off 12/15 so she doesn't want to run up a bunch of medical bills having tests. It sounds to me like it has the potential to be very serious, and I am worried about her.

I hope that everything is okay. Loads of !!
