Deb - Nick's package for Nicholas came today. He hasn't opened it yet though. I don't know if I will let him open it now or wait awhile. What does everyone think? Open them as we get them or wait until a certain time?
I would think open as they arrive but if my kids were doing it (I just couldn't commit to that this year....) I might wait so they could open them together.

Can you book it and just pay the deposit. If you get the money that you are hoping for keep the reservation, if not cancel and get your money back?
Great mind must think alike!

Here's a few pics...

had a nice night. The kids got tons of candy.

Christoper had a great birthday. We got him the Wi & Guitar Hero for the Wi...I have never seen a more surprised & happy kid.

He looks happy! What a great shot!

Kristine - great pictures.

I promise I will post some tomorrow!

Oh, I agree!! When and where??
I'm thinking before we get too busy with the holidays. I have my kids this weekend but next weekend might be good. I'll check with her. I'm open to suggestions for where.

Tia because I know Jim and Phil are very similar-

Jim, who hasn't EVER wanted a supervisory position, had his half year review last Friday and was told that next year there will be a couple of supervisor positions opening up and he came home excited. The fact that he thinks he'll be there next year AND wants to move up in the company made me me do the happy :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: dance.

Before I forget...the meeting with my boss and the head of SPRC is at 10 my time tomorrow...not 8....you should have seen his face when I went in to double check the time:lmao:

Lane Bryant has an absolutely beautiful skirt that will be on sale this weekend....and I had to go down another size:cool1: I will be going on Saturday to JcPenney and back to Lane Bryant.

Will be thinking about you tomorrow :goodvibes

:cool1: on the smaller size

Robyn, loved the pics of the girls! Lucy's hair is getting long!
So is that how you get Lucy to sleep? Liquor her up!

Yep!! ;) Gotta start 'em young. I think she just liked the fact that she could see it and it was cold.

Everyone's pictures are wonderful.

Now that you all are on a sugar high I hope you don't go on a posting frenzy. I need to get to sleep. Have a good night everyone!

Cool. I got an email tonight that DH's bike it ready for pickup. I need to call REI to see if it is really ready-that is that it is actually assembled.

Where are you going to hide an assembled bike??

I am right behind you. My eyes just can't take it any longer.

Here are my shots from tonight...

Waiting to head out..

So cute!

I'm glad that it arrived, I just hope that nothing broke. Maybe hold Nicholas's until Alyssa gets hers?
Great minds again? OR maybe just mind sharing. I know I could use someone elses mind this week.

Good luck:wizard: and congratulations!:woohoo:

Good for you! :thumbsup2

Wow, it's nice to see so many people posting at once. I can't remember the last time that happened.

Robyn - the kids looked great tonight! I got a chuckle out of your little Yoda too! How is Eric doing today?

Bernadette - Yay for a better discount!!:cool1: Did you have to pay rack rate for the weekend or was it discounted?
Bringing beach towels is TOTALLY different.:rotfl2: Beach towels are a personal preference. I wanted to have my own towels if we went to the water park. Which we didn't. So we'll have to try again next year.
DS would be insulted if I asked him to sleep on an air mattress. I did get him to agree to sleep on a pull-out couch if we decide to try a studio.

How fun! Great job on the pumpkins :thumbsup2

Beth, your pumpkins are awesome!:thumbsup2

Pretty Kitties :goodvibes

Love the kitties! And the boys looked great!

Anne Marie - the kids and pumpkins look so cute!

Daniel is the best Harry Potter!:goodvibes All the kids look great!

All six we bought this trip had blue lids, Elizabeth. Mattered not of they had silver, or blue or black handles.

Thanks for confirming.:) At WL they keep the mugs in a cabinet behind the register. The guy gave me the 3 with different handles but for some reason I didn't remember the lids all being the same.

Theresa, congrats on 10,000 post. :cool1:

Congrats, Theresa! And the band pics are very cool! Your girls' costumes are cute!

If you don't have Alyssa's yet you might wait for it before you let Nick open his. I still haven't boxed up DS's ornament so I can send it. I need to do that!

I've got you beat. We have a great big plastic bowl that sits on top of our fridge. It's the "candy bowl." I had to through out some chocolate eggs and 1/2 of a chocolate rabbit that was still in there from Easter, to make way for our halloween candy. And when Valentine's Day rolls around I will be purging the remaining halloween candy to make way for chocolate hearts. It's a never-ending cycle.

Our candy bowl has "strata", too! We were watching some special on the origins of chocolate so we pulled out the bowl. It has a chocolate frog from this summer, Valentine M&Ms, Christmas M&Ms, some candy from the P&P party, some Christmas Andes that I got on clearance. It's pretty gross. There is also gum for Disney trips and some Jolly Ranchers that DS isn't supposed to have with his braces.

Very nice, Janet! I assume that is "Boy George" with JackOLantern Man and the guys?!?!? :rotfl:

I was thinking "transvestite pimp" but maybe that's just me.:rolleyes1

We stayed home. I still haven't heard from ExMomboss. We ate dinner and then DS & I played Disney Scene It. After that I made some popcorn and we watched TV. DH is off tomorrow but he went to bed about 7:30 anyway. I told DS to put his costume on and I would post his pic for the DDA but he didn't want to.

Next weekend is the Downtown Retail Merchants' Open House so I am tied up on Sunday all day and into the evening. But Saturday could work. Let me know!

Becky - Loved your photos! The farmhouse looks neat!

Robyn - Wow! Emma's costume turned out GREAT! They all look terrific! Note to self: Robyn has margaritas on Halloween - be sure to stop by next year.;)
