OK, WHY am I the only one stuck in the vortex of Science Fair hell? Why is that? I truly hate everything about Science Fair and none of you can even commiserate with me because you don't have to participate! NOT FAIR!
Give me a few months and I'll be commiserating with you. This will be the first year that it is mandatory for Nicholas to participate.

I got an email from Kathrin today that she had heard back from the company in Boston that she really was interested in. However, they are not interested in her right now. :( I know she has to be so disappointed. :sad1:
I'm sorry, Elin. The right thing will come along. The path to find it, though, may be long and disappointing. :guilty:

HAPPY
HALLOWEEN

Emma just fell asleep on the couch. I guess we should go upstairs. I need my rest if I'm going to iron in the morning!:rotfl:

I guess Terra was just waiting for me. I went in, sat in the chair, she crawled on my lap and was out cold before I could respond to her request for something to eat.

ummmmmm....

wellll.............

truthfully, it was not my cup of tea. I am not a big cirque fan....but I think I may one of the few people in the world who didn't like it. :)

I like Cirque - sort of. I really didn't like La Nouba at all. I think sitting in the second row did it for me. My neck hurt terribly after that show. But I loved Love in Vegas. It was wonderful! We were further back, could see everything, and the music put it over the edge for me.

Morning DDA!

I found out I have very little fall/winter like clothes. I'm also down to mainly two/almost three pairs of work pants thanks to bleach/black ink. I really hate shopping sometimes. Especially when fall/winter stuff is regular priced. Maybe I'll head over to Gabriel Brothers after work tonight and see what I can find there.

Off to work! Have a great Halloween everyone!

In 2nd grade the teachers really eased us into it. They gave a little presentation for the parents and it was all very laid back. They didn't follow "big kid" rules so it wasn't that hard.
Back in the Dark Ages (1982) we had to BUILD the backboard for the display and that was a nightmare. We had to go buy plywood, hinge it together, and paint it. I think it weighed more than I did. I had to TYPE my stuff on a typewriter. I don't even think we owned a computer. For the heading we had to use stick-on letter like you put on your mailbox, and we had to buy a BUNCH of packages because there was only one of each letter per pack. We used a staple gun to attach the papers because that plywood was so tough. At least with DS they have those "regulation" tri-fold cardboard displays and we can print it all out on the computer and stick it to the board with roll-on adhesive.

I am off today but I am WIDE awake. DH is cooking breakfast. I still haven't heard anything from ExMomboss about going over there tonight. I guess I need to e-mail her to see if she remembers that she asked us to come over.:rotfl2: DS tried on his pirate costume and it still fits fine so that's one less thing to worry about. It says 6x-8 but the pants are still kind of long on him.

Good morning, DDA! Apparently I went to bed too late last night (or got up too early ;) ) since less than a page was posted since I last was on.

Oh yeah, and why or why is my lovely daughter up already. And please can she remain that lovely (or take a nap) all day!

That must be the way with pirate costumes. When I bought Terra a bunch of costumes for Christmas one year the site selling the pirate one wasn't clear that they were infant/toddler sizes. I was trying to buy big and ended up with a size 1-2 (she was 3-4T at the time). It fit then and she could still wear it for almost 2 years. :confused3

Hope things work out to go to exbosses house tonight. Enjoy your breakfast and your wonderful day off.

Becky thank you, this is perfect! I swear I did not see this the other day. Hopefully these will be in stock for a while. My money is a little tied up right now :rolleyes1

I will keep my eyes peeled for one. Although Disneyshopping.com has a scarf, glove and hat set.

Great pictures Robyn!

Hope dh is getting around better today :wizard:

Hi all... Just wanted to pop in and say hi. And to share some pics from today. Molly had her Halloween parade/show at school. They sang the songs they learned in music. It amazes me that they can get her to sit so still and actually listen:rotfl:

Oh....one more thing before I go to bed....I bought a microphone for my ipod today. Should be fun to record "stuff" at WDW.:thumbsup2 I wanted to be able to record the birthday message for Joe if they do it at Pop.

Very cool. I'm anxious to hear how it works out for you.

Would you mind posting the site?

Yeah. I had been seeing a couple of them on some other posts and thought it was neat. So I set out to see what was available. Through the animator site, I could include 10 different bars. I found one site with tons of Disney choices and had a hard time picking my 10. I like that it can hold so many favorites in not too much of my limited signature space.
