Tom love the fur cuffs!

Becky have fun camping & stay warm!

I received an email for $99 a night at MGM in Vegas, anyone ever stay here? I told Gary & he wants to stay here instead of Planet Hollywood. It comes with a GC for $35 towards shopping at the Miracle Mile shops.

Bernadette, Lindsay, Debbie... anyone!

I have been waiting anxiously to buy the Kinkade print of Cinderella Castle, since we purchased the Disneyland one last year. Mouseplanet says they are now available (to the rest of us who couldn't go down in October for the release!) at the Art of Disney.

Well, I called merchandising yesterday, who said I was nuts and that there aren't extras to purchase, at least not yet. I called the Art of Disney directly, who said yes there are extras she (the CM) just bought one, but it's not there it's at Uptown Jewelers in the MK. I tried getting in touch with someone at Uptown Jewelers, but nobody could get through there by phone... just referred me to merchandising.

So, I know exactly what I want. If someone could at least go to the store and SEE if it's available, that would be a start. If it is, I could try and force someone there to get it ordered and sent to me, or whatever. I'm just trying to find out the correct answer! :sad2:

Thanks in advance! I'll be there in December (last minute solo weekend trip! :scared1: :yay: ) but I imagine these will sell out quicker than the Disneyland ones, just on my (perhaps false) assumptions that more people frequent WDW and would buy them, and that there are the same number.

John and I saw it once, we did not care for it. Actually we have yet to find a movie of Burton's that we do like.

My favorites are Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands. I enjoyed his remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Sleepy Hollow, too. And who can forget the "classic" Pee Wee's Big Adventure?!! :rotfl:

Hey!!! I resemble that remark!!!:lmao:

It was a compliment! :teeth:

I realized tonight that I'm becoming addicted to my DVR... since I'm staying in Ft. Worth I don't have it, and I'm having to watch "real time" with commercials, instead of working, then fast forwarding through the shows. I wonder if hotels will get DVRs...

Me too! Anytime someone asks, "Have you seen that commercial..." I am clueless! I haven't seen a commercial in a long time.

I think I would die without ours! I keep telling myself that by DVR'ing everything I actually spend less time watching tv but I really don't think that's true. I just DVR more stuff

Me too. However, I can watch five episodes of General Hospital in 15 minutes! :rotfl2:

Hey guys--question for you--well a favor to ask

My school is doing a program to "send smiles around the world"--basically, we are trying to get as many postcards as we can from around the world--Would anyone be willing to send a postcard? You could send them to my house and i can b riing them into work, sinice most of you have the address. you could address it to "The Goddard School" in care of me, at my address

In the postcard, can you just mentino where you are from, if theres any interesting facts from your area or anything like that?

thanks so much if you can do this..

How neat! I'll try to run to Hallmark this weekend and buy an Ohio postcard.

Again, I'm jealous! I'm sure he was out for the release of the DVD. Maybe we'll luck out in December.

I hope your doctor's appt. goes well, Deb!

And....

Happy Birthday, Hunter!!

Ditto! :)

O.K. I think I am turning into the daughter my Mother always wanted!

The Disboutiquers were talking about "fur cuffs" for outfits that they are making. Well, I got the pattern, and whipped these up!

Leighanna thinks she is a "model" and hams it up when I bring out the camera!

New listing tonight, and I already have bids! Some of the people on the "boutique thread" want "Tom originals". :rotfl:

You don't stop! What does your twin think of all this Tom?

Good morning :)

Good morning! How is Garrett feeling? I hope he gets to go to his dance.

Deb, great pictures! :goodvibes Happy birthday to Hunter!

As for Tim Burton, my jury is still out. Kyle tends to enjoy his stuff more than I do. I HATED Beetlejuice. I Strongly Disliked Sleepy Hollow. I HATED Nightmare Before Christmas (sorry Elizabeth!) and have yet to watch it again after I first did. I HATED James and the Giant Peach. I HATED Big Fish, although Kyle absolutely loved it and we now own it. I still don't like it very much.

I liked Edward Scissorhands a lot. Then, we saw the Corpse Bride in the theaters (why, after all those others??) and I actually liked it, moderately. I thought it was very cute, and fairly clever. The voice acting was brilliant as well, but I don't know how much that mattered. I really love Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as long as I keep it very separate from Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Maybe I just like Johnny Depp :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Well not if you didn't like Sleepy Hollow! ;) :teeth:

You know I'm a big JD fan too, but Ed Wood is one movie I couldn't stand.

Their latest pairing looks entertaining: Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Based on the 19th century legend of Sweeney Todd and the hit Broadway musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Sweeney Todd a.k.a Benjamin Barker returns to London after being sent away by Judge Turpin with the help of a sailor, Anthony Hope. He opens a barber shop above Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pie Shop were she sells "the worst pies in London." With the help of Mrs. Lovett, Todd tries to rid of all the people who have ever done him wrong and hopes to be reunited with his daughter, Joanna, who is now Judge Turpin's ward.

We are home. I am back on page 9623 valiantly trying to catch up on over a week's worth of posts! As I wade through all of thes, is there anything of great import I need to know right away? If so, someone please PM me as this may take a while! ;)

Oh, yeah... we had a BLAST! :)

I'd be willing to do it, Jen. Since there are so many of us in Dallas, would you rather me send it from another Texas city (I'll be in several different ones upcoming). When do you need it by?

.

Whatever is easier for you! They are apparently doing this for a few months, so wehnever! thanks!

Robyn - love the Lucy picture with Mickey!

Glynis - oh my... what a sad story about that precious little girl and Alan's entire family. I am So sorry. :(

I didn't say I was president of his fan club!

You're making me late for work.... I'll reply to your email from there.

Welcome home, Elin! :goodvibes

Huh. The girl who posted it said they got 40% off WL. I don't think she meant VWL, but who knows? So did you book for 30% off?
For a standard at AKL 30% would be just a hair under the AP discount, but at Beach Club 30% might be better than AP because AP is usually a flat rate, not a %. The last AP rate during value season was $70 off per night, but if BC is $330 for a standard then 30% off would be $99 off. I e-mailed Mary at MouseSavers because it is driving me nuts that this isn't posted anywhere!
Hmmm..I am still looking into it. Very confusing. The 1st few CM's I spoke to didn't even know about it.

Was this a "room only" booking, or did you have to buy a package for everyone?
Yep, a room only.

I didn't stay there, I was at the Monte Carlo across the street. I did walk around their "mall" & got to see the lions & from what I saw it was beautiful!!!!

Tom,
So glad all is going well for you on ebay! Those outfits are just too cute!

Deb,
Good luck with the Dr. & Happy Happy Happy Birthday to Hunter!!!!!!!!!!!

Elizabeth, tell me about it all. After all we are not going to Disney, so who cares if there are pages and pages to read. :rolleyes1

ooooooooooooohhh... that is just plain mean,
Heidi! :rotfl:
