I just went to check out UNT's website....it's cheaper to go there even for out of state kids than where Jim and I graduated from 12 years ago (Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT).

My only fear is Cassidy is very,very talented musician...she just doesn't practice the way she should so there won't be as many scholarships available to her.

I bought this set from Terry & I am keeping them. I just can't trade my pins lol

I do like the Dwarves, but not enought to keep them. I bought 5 sets to trade, plus the set of 6 that they discounted for me since 2 pins got stolen.
They sold through all of the Snow White pins pretty quickly, but they got re-shipped. Hopefully they will have some when my coupon starts on 11/1.

I read on the "Codes & Rates" board that there is a bounce back running right now that is a % discount on resort rooms. Did any of you hear about that? I need to know how long it will be available for booking and what dates you can book for. Did anybody hear about this??
I called Chanon and she doesn't have any info on it.

There are a BAZILLION scholarships out there. I got one from the grocery co. where DH used to work. DS will be able to apply for Frito Lay scholarships. I don't even know how you start to weed through, but it seems like all sorts of civic clubs, businesses, on and on and on offer scholarships. The financial aid office at the community college always had a bunch posted. There must be a searchable database that you can put in the info about the student and it will match you with ones you can apply for.

I have never seen it either

well Virginia's jaundice level is still up but not as bad as yesterday. Her weight is still dropping. Luckily I feel like my milk is in this morning. If she does not start eating better the dr wants me to give her an ounce of formula after breastfeeding. hoping the feedings start getting better.

Not much better I guess I will be calling the Dr. tomorrow. He is bummed, there is a dance at school tomorrow night. If he stays home he won't be able to attend the dance.

Not sure if i told you guys--but when we got my painting for my parents anniversary, there was a black line across my teeth--we have been goinig back and forth trying to get it resolved and they finally gave us three choices--a) send it to hong kong to get fixed b) get 50% of price back c) pay 50 dollars and keep the one we have, and get a new one

Mom chose choice C---we are going to g ive the one we have to my grandparenst and keep the new one!

So in Jan. I weighed 177lbs In Feb. I got pregnant. So with being pregnant I was supposed to gain weight, well the first 4 months I lost due to morning sickness got down to 170lbs. months 5-7 I gained got up to 187lbs. Became a Gestational Diabetic at the end of my 7th month. Started losing weight again on 10/18 I had Drs. appt. I weighed 180lbs. Had the baby on 10/21 she weighed 7lbs 4oz when I weighed myself Tues. morning I was 169 lbs that is less then what I weighed before I got pregnant

That's not good.
They had a dance at DS's school but he refused to go. I don't know if any of his friends went or not. I just don't think he "gets" the whole middle school thing.

This is "spirit week" or something like that. Yesteray was crazy hats, but he either forgot or didn't think he wanted to do it. He ended up wearing one of those stretcy bookcovers on his head. Today was crazy neckties - he wore a strand of paperclips. Tomorrow is crazy socks, and Friday is spirit jerseys. He doesn't have any crazy socks - all of his socks are white. I bought him a Dallas Stars hockey jersey today so at least he has that. I know the other kids must think he is a complete spaz, but he doesn't like to do things like the other kids.

Tammi your pictures turned out well! I will agree with everyone else, I think as soon as Bob see's his dd's face he will see it differently!

I certainly hope so. She does have him wrapped around his finger. Maybe if we can get some of that sprinkled upon us like so many did this week, that might help my cause as well.

This is what the lady posted on the Codes & Rates board. It is code CDR. I don't know what would happen if you called and tried to get them to give you the deal since you have checked out, but it's worth the price of a phone call!
