Just an FYI... (especially for Glynis)

Kristin was just cast as "Viola" in a production of "Twelfth Night" at VCU!
How exciting, for you and for her!

Hi all...

Checking in. Can't believe we will be in WDW in 7 days!:banana:I sure hope I can get ready.

Still settling in Bill's mother to nursing home life....not easy!

The kids & I made a Mickey Mouse Halloween wreath

LOVE it! I wish real life were easier for you right now, but I know you will be ready to go to WDW. After all, what could you possibly need? A few clothes, passes and money! ;)

October DDA'ers - my countdown is beginning to scare me a little! I feel so unprepared, I think my main unease is that I don't personally have any ADR's I need to double-check. Such a weird feeling - like those dreams where you walk out of your house without your pants on or something! :rotfl2:
Ok, Lindsay, this has me worried. PLEASE doublecheck your suitcase and make sure you packed your pants. :rotfl:

Staying at the airport would get us closer and Joe could do room service. He was asking me if we could do it at Pop.:rotfl: He saw it on some TV show.

This had me giggling! I say, if for no other reason that letting Joe order room service, you should book that Park 'n' Fly!

Evening everyone!

Can I ask a favor please? :teeth: Lindsay's post made me think of this actually...
Would everyone mind posting a few things for the October trip?

Who made what reservations?
How many seats you reserved?
Which reservations your scheduled to join everyone at?

This way whomever made the reservation can make sure that there are enough seats and we know what the ADR name is under in case someone arrives late.

(Forgive me if I'm stepping on anyone's toes!)
I don't mind, but I'm too tired to do it now. Remind me tomorrow when I'm fresh. ;)

I'm as caught up as I'm going to be. I can't wait to sleep in my own bed, which is where I am now heading. Talk to you all tomorrow. Good night!

Very cute, Kristine! Hope Bill's mom is settling in soon. In case I don't see you before then...enjoy your trip!!!

Yes, Viola is THE leading female role! She will have so much fun!!! Viola is shipwrecked and has to dress as a boy to be able to travel safely in a strange land. She gets hired as a "page" to Count Orsino, hired to take love letters to Olivia. However, Viola falls in love with Orsino, Olivia falls in love with the "page", and it's comic genius!!!! Viola is really a plum role for a woman.

Thanks for the cliff notes. It sounds like a premo role.

I love the wreath. I think we all need a break and WDW will be so nice.

Thanks, Aunties! And for Deb, as well as others who may not have read the play (which I hadn't done in DECADES!)...

Viola, twin sister to Sebastian. She is later called Cesario
Viola is a young woman of aristocratic birth from Messaline, and the play's primary protagonist. She spends the entire play, after the early shipwreck scene, disguised as a young man, "Cesario".

This is the part she has been DYING to play onstage!
:cool1: :cool1:

I'm home! Thanks for the update,Glynis. :wizard: all around.

Tom, Abi and Theresa - I hope you all are feeling better!

Tia - Terra is beautiful and I'm so happy that Phil will be joining you on your next vacation! How exciting!

Elizabeth - Happy Bday to DH.

Welcome Home!!!

Chris and I will be doing breakfast at Cape May and Breakfast at Kona.

Who made what reservations? I think all I have is reservations for Terry and Steffy at the Cape May breakfast with my family. Someone else has the rest of you.

How many seats you reserved? Their 2 plus my 6

Which reservations your scheduled to join everyone at? I don't think I am included in any other ADRs with you all.

This way whomever made the reservation can make sure that there are enough seats and we know what the ADR name is under in case someone arrives late.

(Forgive me if I'm stepping on anyone's toes!)

Hopefully the red info above answers anything I can for you, Chanon.

I agree, the perfect job!

THAT's what I want to do... make everyone happy every single day at WDW! Thanks for the link, Janet. I am sitting here with tears rolling down my cheeks. What wonderful stories that they all had to tell! :goodvibes

Well, things are getting really slow and a certain little one is acting as if she needs some sleep, so I'm going to head out. Good night all!

:wizard: :wizard: Hopefully he will be able to make it through school. :wizard: That they can get appointments set up quickly and move things along. He has already suffered so much.

I can't believe you found those. I have googled everything I could think of and couldn't find any 10 lbs pooh balls. I did find a Pluto one and ordered it this morning. Now I guess that I should have waited :sad2: Oh well, I'm sure that he will be happy with Pluto as that is his second favorite character.
Maybe you could call and cancel if they haven't shipped yet. John said I should find a job where all I do is Google stuff. ;)

Thanks, ladies! You explained the role much better than Wikipedia did, Glynis. :rotfl:

And that was the reader's digest condensed version. I didn't even get into any of the subplots of Sir Andrew, Sir Toby, and Malvolio. Suffice it to say, it is one of the best comedies that Shakespeare wrote. It was also the last comedy he wrote. After finishing Twelfth Night, his only son died, and he was plunged into his "black" period, writing Hamlet, Macbeth, King Lear, and Othello.
