One set is of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Another is of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, and Goofy holding Christmas presents.

Another is of three princesses.

I bought 5 sets of Snow White. I figured since all of the sets are the same price I would buy the one with the most pins! I also got a set with 6 pins because somebody stole 2. They marked them down 25% for me. They recently moved them into a corner whre I am sure they will lose most of them to theft so I am not very hopeful about any being around to go on clearance.

This had me giggling! I say, if for no other reason that letting Joe order room service, you should book that Park 'n' Fly!

Made the reservation today! Couldn't pass up the great AAA rate and it really will make it so much easier on me. I didn't do the Park 'n' Fly as that was $150 more and my friend who's going with me in Nov said she'd drive us & pick us up when we get home. But now I don't have to worry as much about the weather-at least I'll already be at the airport and I won't have to leave the house at 5:15am.

I'm thinking Joe would LOVE to swim in the pool too but I don't know if I'm up for bringing a wet swim suit to FL. He's never been in an indoor pool and he would think it was the coolest thing to swim in MA in January.

So my daughter is pumped beyond belief .....the kids came in 3rd in regionals and scored 11 pts higher than Saturday and 4 pts higher than their best this year.


If the scores hold true from last year the kids get to miss the first round of finals We won't know until Friday when all of the regionals have been completed.

I have good news (in addition to football ) When we were out tongiht, my brother told me he got my birthday present and had to tell me tonight but i wasnt allowed to freak out since we were at a bar/restaruant..so i said okay and he told me i have like 10th row seats to the Maroon 5 concert THIS SATURDAY!!! Now, thats alyssa's band--he got the tickets from the lead singer and i wanted to go SO bad!!! He didnt have extra tickets but now he has to work so hes giving them to me--HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

Now, i have to find out if my mom or dad want to go, since they knew alyssa..and if not, i need to find someone..i cant believe he is letting me go!

I noticed yesterday that my neice and nephew don't have rain jacket so I'm debating whether I should give them rain coats or rain ponchos in their Disney Kits. I could pick up WDW ponchos for all 4 of them while we are there or I could even order Nascar ones which they would probably use more. Of course LL Bean rain jackets are more practical as they would wear them around here and they do fold compactly, but they are also considerably more expensive. Decisions, Decisions.

I suppose that I should sit down today and make a list of items that I need to pick up while at WDW.

Are you thinking of these for Disney? I would go with the ponchos. I cannot imagine wearing a rain jacket at Disney in July. A poncho is bad enough in the summer.

No coffee pots in the values. I don't know if there is a coffee pot "swap" like there are fridge swaps. You might want to check the Budget Board, if you're concerned about it. Or, it seems like Bernadette might have posted about something she takes along when she goes to Pop. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I didn't pay too close of attention.

I haven't brought a coffee pot but I did lend my 4 cup coffee pot to a coworker to bring to a value. She loved it. It has a stainless steel carrafe (sp?) instead of glass. I cannot drink the coffee at Pop and at home I usually just use the coffee bags at home so it is not like I'm a coffee snob. I get my cafine with the frozen cokes when I'm at Pop.

Well, my Tuesday started out feeling like a Monday - go to leave the house this morning, and our garage door is broken. It took just about all of mine and Jonathan's combined strength to get the door raised manually, so there's something really wrong. And of course, Jonathan leaves town today, so I get to deal with this while he's gone. I don't mind dealing with home repairs, but I feel like repairmen inherently take advantage of the lack of knowledge on my part during times like this. He's coming through our home warranty, though, so we'll see what happens. Thankfully, this happened this week, and not last week, and happened today, and not tomorrow. I'd still be stuck in the house by myself otherwise!!!

Well they had to bring a machine to the hospital to adjust grandmas defilibrator yesterday.

Sometime yesterday I think after they adjusted the defilibrator it shocked her again.

They are talking about needing to do some procedure where they go thru the groin and do something to the top part of her heart. The NP said if they don't do this she could have a major stroke that would leave her incompaticated.

My grandma was not sure what the procedure was called so I need to try to get to work early and see if I can get the nurse to tell me the name of the procedure.

Today I had my follow up othropedist appt for my back. I told him I am still having pain even with the PT 2x a week. He says I should continue the PT & get an MRI to see whats going on. It was very bad last week but yesterday & today it has subsided so hopefully my pt is working. So anyway I asked him for a script for a refill of my pain meds since I am going to be in Disney & want to have them just in case. So he says "Do you have to go to Disney?" I'm like "yah" (said in my best Crush voice). Then he says "Well do you have to go to the parks?" I'm like "yah" again. He just shook his head...
Hey, if I am well enough to work, I am well enough to go to Disney dang it!

So after that fun, I headed over to the Disney store..nope can't keep me outta that place! I got Sophie the fushia Jasmine costume & crown. She was going to wear Katies old witch costume but she has wanted to be Jasmine since last year & she has always worn Katies hand-me-downs so I wanted to surprise her with it. (she has been so helpful in the house, setting the table, putting her clothes away without being asked among other good chores) With my cast member discount & the fact that it was 25% off already I couldn't pass it up. So I pull it out of the bag when she got home from school, & she went crazy. She kept saying thank you & its so beautiful! It looked so cute on her. She didn't want to take it off.

Katie got a 95 on a algebra test.

Daniel went to TaeKwonDo & received his stars for uniform. You earn the stars for school work, work in the TKD class, & for behavior at home.

I am babysitting my neighbors 3 year old twins tomorrow afternoon so that should be fun!

Still not packed!!!!!

I for one have always hated shots but with the problems I have had the past few months. Elbow, shoulder and now heel. Shots are my friend

Take a 1 gallon ziplock bag with you and put the suit in it when he is done swimming! Put it in your suitcase and dry it when you get to FL! Let the kid have some fun!!
