OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!!

Would you like to see a grown woman crying?!?!? I can't even beleive this:

today in the mail there was a large envelope from WDW for me - I had no idea what it could be - inside was an envelope that said "for Julia" and inside that envelope was a picture of Belle in her gold dress - signed; a collage that I had made of Julia and Belle and given to Belle the last time we rode the tea cups with her which she had also signed and a handwritten letter to Julia from Belle - here is the text of the letter:

okay - I think I might stop crying sometime today - Julia is on cloud 9!!

All caught up & done with my posting party :teeth: Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend & those not feeling well get better soon :wizard: Prayers for those in trying times right now :grouphug:

Ok, DVC members....

Two specific questions from Kyle ( :thumbsup2 )

1) How long a term is the financing through DVC?
2) How much of a down payment did you make if you financed? I guess more specifically those of you who bought recently (Deb, Tammi, Steffy, Lindsay, etc).

Thanks :goodvibes

Yellowfish78 - Sorry for your loss... :grouphug:

Denise - Hope you & the kids are recovering well & things are doing better today.

Kate - Cute story!!

Hope everyone is doing well here on the DIS.

Living & Dining Room.
Paint all wall ceiling.
Clean & paint fireplace, screen, tools.
New blinds.

Kitchen.
Paint the front of stove & dishwasher.
Caulk.

I'm working with XDH this weekend.
I hate it.
I'm up & going.
He needs coffee, tv time to wake up.

He was to get the paint.
Has he done it.
H*** no.

Knowing him he will run around all day, get nothing done.
Than we will have to do everything Sunday.

I need some rest sometime. :furious:
I had to take this Monday off, I was so exhausted. :furious:

Holy Cow, Woman! Do you ever rest?!? Your house is going to be so gorgeous by the time you are done! How does your son like his new room?

We really like the chicken ceasar too!! and that's how we eat it(I should say that's how I eat it!) another Chik Fil A addict....welcome!!

It was yummy! However, I really want to try some of the sandwiches and stuff. However, I'll have to wait until September or August. Hopefully I will have lost all the weight by then and will be able to add carbs back in slowly. Then I can try the breakfast stuff, too. Can't wait!!!!!

I cried that he thought of me this way. I know he loves me and thinks I do a good job at work, but I didn’t know he thought I was at the level he does.

I just wanted to share.

Thank you.

Sometimes it's wonderful to have our significant others recognize our efforts on our behalf. Congrats to you for having a hubby that appreciates you and what you do for him. You should be very happy!

All right you all I am trying something in my house today....I don't know if any of you with older kids have gone through this. I sat my family(hubby included) down last night and took them to task for not doing their chores even though these are the ones they all agreed upon. I don't expect my house to be spit spot but I was getting tired of nagging my Saturdays away while doing laundry for 4 people!! So I told them I would not nag them today and in fact after I get off the computer I am not even going to be in the house.....need to leave the house because they keep coming in to ask me what they need to do next!! But if chores weren't done there would be consequences....help me on that part!!!

Good luck to you! My SIL went on strike this last week. Her teenage daughter was being horrid and asking her what she actually did around the house, so SIL decided to show her. She did nothing for a week. The dishes didn't get done, the laundry piled up, the food did not get cooked. Her hubby supported her 100%. They sat down last night, and talked it all out, and I think her daughter now has a better understanding of the work it takes a WHOLE FAMILY in order to keep a house running. I just don't know if I could stand not doing anything for a week. After a day, I'd be itching to load the dishwasher, or run some laundry. I'm afraid I'd have to leave for a week.

Good luck and let me know how it goes.

That is the coolest thing I've heard! You should be crying for joy that others recognize the wonderful job you are doing with your kids. Julia deserves to be on cloud 9!

Oh this sounds yummy!

I'm happy to share the recipes with anyone who wants them. I'm going out in a few minutes to see if I can find any leftover corned beef to put in the freezer for later in the year. Yummy!

Way to leave us hanging....

WOW, Kate! That is all I can say. Julia is one lucky little girl to have her very own princess and then a Mommy that helps to make magical things happen!

When I was in college, I worked in an embroidery store. It was my favorite job EVER!! I designed shirts and embroidered them. I have always wanted to open my own embroidery shop.

The machines that do that are so expensive though! I don't think I could talk my DH into that!!!

Use your 40% off at michaels - they probably have machines!

I think you can pick - but the longest one is 10 years

I am not sure what the down payment is -

okay - I am no help on your questions - but I do have this to say

DO IT BEFORE YOU HAVE KIDS!!!!

I know Steve would have never agreed to this after we had Julia - we would have thought about how nice it would have been to have that extra money - but now we don't even notice it coming out of our account
