Hi, everyone. Prayers and PD to all who need it. :grouphug: pixiedust: Good luck today to Jennifer and Kyle!:cheer2: :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Kids are sick, so I'm off to the doctor with them.

Trying to decide whether to switch to the CR for our Dec trip. Kids love the monorail and CM (and I secretly have always longed to stay there!). Having our agent check it now. :santa:

Oh, the kids got tested for Kindergarten Readiness and we had the meeting with the teachers yesterday. Davis and BK were way above average (yea!) and ready to go. Rees had trouble with the test (lots of fine motor skills on it), but is ready otherwise. Guess I'm sending my "babies" off into the real world this fall... :scared1:

Oh, and I love TURTLES, Amy! :teeth: And, Marti, I had Chick Fil A for lunch yesterday (they had it CATERED at school) and I'm taking the kids for lunch today. Oh, and I'm having it Saturday for breakfast! ::yes::  :woohoo: :cool1: :p
Hi Denise. Good to see you again. Hope the kids get some med that makes them feel better.

Your heart will break the first day they get on that school bus and wave goodbye to you.

Keep me posted on how the boys do at karate.

Denise, hope the kids are feeling better soon!

We have Chick Fil A for lunch every Wednesday after Christopher's OT appts, but BREAKFAST is the absolute best! Marti I'm so sorry that you can't experience the joys of Chick Fil A breakfast any time you want :teeth:

Marti if it makes you feel better I have never eaten at Chick Fil A. I had never even heard of this place till reading about it here.

Karate has actually been postponed until April 13 as the instructor is builiding a new facility and the opening has been delayed. They are very excited about it!

I got a note from Nicholas' kindy teacher yesterday. There is a confirmed case of chicken pox in his classroom. Half of me hopes he gets them, just to get it done with and out of the way, the other half doesn't want to go through that. Hopefully that vaccination will either keep them away, or a lot milder than I remember mine being!

I hope he gets em now too!! Although if he has had the vaccination it should be mild. When Cassidy got the chicken pox two days before her appt. for the vaccination, in the middle of summer don't reccomend that :furious: , the ped. said Abi would either get a mild case or it would be a booster...thankfully it was a booster shot!! Two kids in the middle of the hottest part of summer with the chicken pox....YUCK!!

Well I have to say - it is really good. I think I like breakfast better than lunch, but I have decided that if I could have it all the time, I don't think I would like it as much. But since the closest one around here is nearly 10 hours away, I don't see much Chick A Lick in my future!

Oooh! I know who Carnac the Magnificent is! But we already knew I was part of the "old" crowd.

Beth

Beth - Thank God for the old crowd, we can't let these young whipper snappers rule the world - or there would be Chick Fil-A anarchy!!

I had to edit my spelling before professor Amy came on board.

Oh sure - you come along to stir up trouble and then you claim to be an angel? What's up with that? :teeth:
Well, if it's any comfort to you the picture of the Chick Fil A breakfast is killing me!

At least you didn't call me a ***** this time :smooth:

Update on Grandpa-He had his surgery today. Well, sort of. They checked him out and decided that closing him back up right away would be the best decision. He's being admitted into hospice today. I'll be finding flights from San Diego for my aunt and uncle, I think they've decided on coming in this Saturday. I haven't been to the hospital yet (still debating on seeing him like this or remembering him sitting in his Lazy Boy chair eating his chocolate without nuts). From the family that is there now, he's ready to see his late wife and comfortable with the decisions that had to be made. Thanks for the prayers everyone! (It's odd knowing that this thread, only finding it a month ago, makes me feel better  The kindness of strangers is awesome!)

But see once you find us we're not strangers anymore!!

I am so sorry about your grandpa. I would like to suggest that you go see him as he is now as it won't really affect how you remember him. When DH's grandfather had a heart attack and was not expected to live (went on to live 8 more years) I made him go to the hospital...we had to go to see the new babies first but he did see him. He was upset with his family for not letting him know when Grandpa was close to passing finally so that he could see him.

Your grandpa and your family will be in my prayers!!

When we go today, I'll take a picture of the 4 of us for you! And, no, they are watching Disney DVD's (what else?). But I do have to get ready to go to the doc. Be back later after Chick-a-lick!

What did I call you last time that had to be starred out?? My memory isn't what it used to be - must be a sign of old age.

Tell the kids to smile big - if you can't beat 'em - join em...

I was planning on having some in the airport as soon as that airplane touches down. Just how many do you think I can get "to go"???
