I am wondering if my DDA friends could send pixie dust and prayers my way tonight. Bethie (the 2 yr old that is 20 lbs on a good day fully dressed and soaking wet) has some kind of bug. A few days ago she had a fever, I gave her Tylenol and off to bed she went. The next day she was her normal turn my hair gray / give mommy a heart attack self.

So if you would send prayers and pixie dust my way tonight that my little crazy baby girl gets rid of this bug soon, I would appreciate it.

Poor baby!! I hope she is better soon! And I second Kate's no dairy when sick.....all Abi wanted when we had food poisoning a month ago was a string cheese....we paid for it!!

I guess I am a real designer now and not just an addict! (Ok maybe not a designer, but a design modifier... ;) ) Here is the one I did inspired by Kevin's wonderful new Mickey head design. I altered it a tad to fit our trip. What do you all think?

Did you miss me? :rotfl: I had a wonderful, fantastic, awesome trip. The weather was in the 70's and sunny all week. A little windy but I'll take that over the 6" of snow that have already fallen this morning. We visited all 4 theme parks several times each, played at both water parks, enjoyed shopping at Downtown Disney, relaxed at our resort and caught a performance of LaNouba.

I love the epcot picture in your signature. Very nice shot.

Still no news on grandpa. Would call, but my mom flew in from NV yesterday, and it's still 5:30am to her.

My cousin, Sabrina, is FINALLY getting married (07/07/07!) after 11 years of dating. I got THE call yesterday. I had set her up with my best friend from high school, and last July he finally asked her. She's already picked out the bridesmaids dresses, with a lovely tea rose (aka mauve) strapless dress. I really don't want to buy a dress for 07, but I'm afraid that it will be discontinued before the end of this year! Maybe I'll be joining the Weight Loss Accountability Thread...
Should be an interesting wedding with height issues! :teeth: ...the groom is 5'3", the bride 5'7"; best man 6'2 and I'm 5'4". :teeth: I'll be a blast though! If anyone is interested here's the dress. (The color she picked is the second from the last.)

I hope everyone's day is wonderful!

11 YEARS!!! Oh good golly!! :rotfl2: and then another year before the wedding!! What a pretty dress!!

And to think my hubby and I didn't even make it a year from our first date to our wedding! We did know of each other (same circle of friends) for two years and hung out together for about 3 months in that circle before our first date.

Really shows you that everyone is different! It is cool that you introduced them. And since they'll be together for 12 years before the wedding, they can't ever blame it on you!!!! :rotfl2:

No time to catch up now (899 posts in 60 pages). I have to catch up for work first. I'll be on later to see how my DDA friends are doing. I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone. Take care. Vicki

Welcome home Vicki :)

I rode this for the 1st time in Jan. & I loved it! I am not a roller coaster person at all & the thought of going upside down terrified me. I made a last minute descion to try it & I am so glad I did. I can't wait to go back & ride this with my ds(they were surprised to hear I got on it & actually as soon as I got off the ride I called to tell them what I had just done lol). Now TOT, never!

How old would you guys want your child to be before Rock N Roller Coaster? I'm thinking of telling her she's too short. I think she'll LOVE Everest though. I don't like the idea of her (OK of me) going upside down. Can't a few more years (months anyways) before I HAVE to do this one?

It's good to see you again, Clare. I'll send you tons of PD for your assignment, if you'll do the same thing. I'm in the same boat, out of school for years and years, and now trying to start up again. It's tough!

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: Sending you some back Glynis, it's funny what happens to your brain when you don't use it, I need to excercise mine more often!

Prayers & :wizard:

On a different note, my grandfather isn't doing to good. His prostate cancer is flaring up, and causing a backup of fluids which is basically poisoning his blood system and causing him to be dilusional (sp?). He had surgery yesterday, which didn't help since he was taken to the ER this morning. Still waiting on the call to see how he's doing from today. Hopefully his second surgery (laser) will be rescheduled from the 24th to tomorrow or the day after. Send prayers and pixiedust: his way!

OH, I wore this one last summer in a wedding. She picked Apple. I'm a redhead and wasn't Thrilled about it but it is a very beautiful dress and the color turned out good too. You can't really see all of the detail on the top, but it is gorgeous!
I left it big so you could see the detail on the top of the dress.

That looks gorgeous on all of you.

Since I just read that you got your assignment turned in, does that mean you'll be watching High School Musical tonight? :rotfl:

:rotfl: The plan was to watch it today as it's my day off but I've been busy making chocolate brownies (yum) and catching up on Desperate Housewives... and the DIS!

We made it a year and a half from first time I remember meeting hubby(he says we met earlier in the week!) before we got married....it really is a case of different strokes for different folks. But I wish for all to have healthy, happy marriages!!

Sending you :wizard: Good luck!

Guess what you can order online now - the Photopass CD - here is a link to the site for anyone kicking themselves!!!!

http://www.register123.com/event/profile/form/index.cfm?PKformID=0x177271abcd

This must be something new since February 22 because I missed my Magical Express bus back to the airport because I was getting the CD. :rotfl: We made the next bus out and still had to sit at the airport for 2+ hours because of a delay in our flight.

If you notice buying online does not include any extras and the extras are what really makes the photos special The guy went through each of our pics and fixed them and added borders, dates, character sigs, tink and so on. It took at least 30 minutes or more to do this but well worth it. They have several additions they can add and he said they are adding new things every day. You get to pic and choose what you want added. I would highly recommend buying the CD there if you want it so as to get the extras added on. You can go throughout your visit and update the pics and then have them burned to a CD on your last day. This way it would not take as long to do as it would if you had them done at one time.
