Ahh speaking of which... this came out yesterday... should I order it? Amazon are doing a deal here for Lady and Bambi - (buy together save £s)

I've never seen either of them... should I get them? WIll I like them?

I started buying up all the dvds when they came out as I've missed quite a few - last year I got Mulan and Pocahontas... not really impressed...

I LOVE Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid though...

Cinderella was ok.

Should I buy them? Even just to say I've seen them... they are classics after all...

I adore Lady and the Tramp. I think it's such a darling love story. My girls are really into it, lately too. As for Bambi, is it the original, or the new Bambi 2? I love the original, even though it's so sad. I haven't seen the new Bambi one. Don't know how it is.

I have one more file to do before 5pm. It will probably only take me about 30 minutes so I am taking my time.

I am doing final rewrites on items that are printed on Thursday. I will also have to do a couple more little things. But it is 3 hours before quitting time....hmmm....one of these days I am going to be caught on DIS and have to wait until I get home to stay caught up. :teeth:

I am fixin' to leave work and will be gone for a few hours. Since my DH has to work I am treating my two boys to Applebee's and a movie. They want to see The Pink Panther. I haven't heard great things about it but I guess I will suffer thru it with my two little valentine boys.

Bye for now.....I will try and check back with ya'll later.

No plans yet to go..............We are going out of town over spring break. My Saturdays are busy with basketball slightly overlapping with baseball starting up. If we don't have enough time for the aquarium maybe we could just meet one Saturday afternoon with our kids and have lunch. My DH works at Home Depot so he works alot of Saturdays.

Lynn

My DH should work at HD or should I say he should have shares there!!! I know some people at HD head office and they all love it.
We have baseball starting tomorrow night DS is on the white sox this year and luckily it is about 3 minutes from the house.
Besides Baseball Saturdays are fine with me.

I took my 4 guys our for a Valentine's Dinner at Friendly's last night. While waiting for our meal I mentioned that I planned to record HSM. My ds10 and ds8 said "oh, that's a good movie, you'll like it". I asked them how they knew and they matter of factly told me that they had already watched it at Grammy's. Wouldn't you know it, they beat me again.

Deb

My kids love Friendly's we don't have one here but when we go to MB we have to go there.
Will have to watch it from start to finish without being up making dinner and the like.

I love the original Bambi, we used to watch it when DD was small and then when we used to drive by the cemetary she would tell me that is where Bambi's mommie is, I used to drive out of my way to not pass one.

I worked from home today so had some time to catch up on the board, I try to stay off them at the office else I will become addicted and get nothing else done.
DS has gone with DH to look at a house he is building and get some stuff at the store. DD called from school to say she is staying late for talent show practice so I'm waiting for her to call to go pick her up.

Enjoy your Valentine dates!!!

Ok, everyone, since it's been kind of quiet around here today, I think I might try stirring things up a bit. I have been assigned to write a paper on the pros and cons of censorship in public and school libraries. I'd like to include some opinions from people I respect along with the research that I have done. So, if you feel like you can, would you mind PM'ing me with your thought on the matter? I know I'm probably opening a can of worms with this topic, and that's why I'm asking for PM's. That way, I can keep everything private, and away from our carefree board.

Thanks in advance to everyone who responds. :)

Tia have a fun trip with your daughter and enjoy that sun for us. :sunny:

:lmao: :lmao: (not at you eeyorecln, just at the weather) Okay it was sunny. However, the temperature on Sunday and Mondays were highs of about 50 and lows of 30. It was CRAZY!!! I guess it was better than the 18 inches of snow that fell at home that day.

BTW - Hi everyone! We're back and I'm working on catching up. :) Despite the fact that we froze watching Wishes on Sunday night and couldn't find mittens in any store, we had a great time. After watching Jammin' Jungle Parade yesterday I reminded Terra that we needed to head back to the hotel to leave. She told me that we could do that "in a few days" because we needed to ride Tea Cups and Small World again and...(the list went on and one). I felt the same way.

Oops, I've got to get someone some cake...I'll finish catching up tonight or tomorrow with some pics and a quick trip report.

Welcome home!!! Sounds like you had fun, even though it was kind of cold! Can't wait to hear all about it! Hope your DH had some good de-stressing time as well.

I wanted to let everyone know that Bill's dad died late last night. Even though we knew it was coming, it was still a shock. Bill being the only child is having a tough time.

Thanks for the kind words.

Kristine

I hope that Bill is doing okay. My sympathis to you all for your loss.

Now at least you have your priorities right!!

Hi, everyone. Well, the meeting with the lawyer was a mixed bag. He thinks we have a case, but isn't sure going to court is our best option. He wants us to consider just reapplying, but the application process is about a year's wait. I don't think we want to take that chance. So, DH and I are talking about going to court. It's extremely expensive which is also a consideration. It's been a rough day emotionally going over all of Rees' issues. So, DH took me and the kids out to dinner for Valentine's Day. During dinner they dimmed the lights, and Rees freaked out (dark enclosed place like the scary rides at Disney). Took all of dinner to calm him down. Was just another reminder of what we're fighting for. I held it together until after they went to bed, and then I lost it. I am so drained. He's not doing well at school, he's "off" at home. I am so emotionally spent. Thanks for listening and for the prayers.
