Here's an article I received on another group about our favorite musical...

There's going to be a sequel!! Yeah!! Plans are in the works for more tween projects...as the mother of 2 of these (we call em twinkies in our house) I am thrilled!!

Yeah! I have only one "twinkie," but I'm all for more of these types of shows. My 6 year old ds enjoyed the movie, too, though not as much as 12 year old dd. Almost 15 year old ds couldn't be bothered to watch it, of course.

HAPPY VALENTINE"S DAY

:wave2: :cheer2: :woohoo: :p :lovestruc  :wave2:

Abi told me last night she was never getting married because kissing somebody would be gross. Though she will have roommates because she needs to have somebody use the knives for her.

I hope I don't get kicked off the DDA for this, but......Kaelyn recorded High School Musical last night and I accidentally deleted it off the DVR this morning. :scared:

I did set it up to record it the next time it's on though. ;)

I think you're safe as long as you record it next time. :rotfl: And you don't make any disparaging remarks about it.

They thought that it was pretty cool to be putting on their Pj's tonight and being able to get up in the morning and just wear them to school.

Ahh speaking of which... this came out yesterday... should I order it? Amazon are doing a deal here for Lady and Bambi - (buy together save £s)

I've never seen either of them... should I get them? WIll I like them?

I started buying up all the dvds when they came out as I've missed quite a few - last year I got Mulan and Pocahontas... not really impressed...

I LOVE Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid though...

Cinderella was ok.

Should I buy them? Even just to say I've seen them... they are classics after all...

They are good and if you ever plan on having kids you will have them all already.

No plans yet to go..............We are going out of town over spring break. My Saturdays are busy with basketball slightly overlapping with baseball starting up. If we don't have enough time for the aquarium maybe we could just meet one Saturday afternoon with our kids and have lunch. My DH works at Home Depot so he works alot of Saturdays.

I want to thank all the wonderful designers for helping me to get my shirts ready for my trip. Everything is packed and I am ready to go. Actually I have to work a few more hours today. :confused3

I will definitely try to post pictures of our shirts when I get home.

THANK YOU!!!!

Have a great trip. Judging by the weather channel you may need some warmer clothes :cold: But at least you'll be a Disney :goodvibes . If you get cold you can have a hot chocolate for me.

Has anyone seen?
Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy?
Ramiro & I watched it last night.
We are so confused. :confused3
What is the story line & or the plot?
Did we both miss something?
We are so glad we rented rather than purchased.
Or is this for Sci-Fi fans or what?
Nothing against Sci-Fi, just didn't get it.
????????????????????????????

Hey, Jo - I think you really have to be a fan of the book in order for the movie to work. I didn't really like the book and I thought the movie was kind of stupid. No offense to anyone who really liked the book and movie. That kind of sci-fi genre is not my thing.

So I am getting my me time, but not in a manner I would like. I went to work Sunday, luckily the roads weren't that bad. I got home about 6pm. While I was at work I got called and asked if I wanted to go in early. So instead of working from midnight to 8am, I ended up working from 10:30pm to 6:45am. Although I was supposed to stay until 8am.

At about midnight I started to feel nauseous and sick to my stomach. About 1am the vomitting began. I don't think I have ever thrown up so much in my life. I can't even count how many times I have thrown up. My whole body hurts so bad, plus my blood vessels under my eyes have all broken. I feel horrible.

I called on call about 3am to get someone to come in and finish out my shift. It was 6:45am til someone arrived so I could leave. I spent all day in bed. I tried to get a shower so I could go to my other job at 3pm and just about past out. I called in sick. I just got up a little while ago. I still feel horrible and nauseuos and stiff all over.

This definitely is not the type of me time I wanted or needed. When I woke up I thought it was Tuesday morning, this has definitely been my longest day ever.

In better news my grandfather is out of the hospital.

Becky

Becky - I'm so sorry that you are ill. I'm just hoping that it is like my son's flu bug; it was gone in 24 hours. I hope that you will feel better soon!
:wizard: for you and a great big :grouphug:

I took my 4 guys our for a Valentine's Dinner at Friendly's last night. While waiting for our meal I mentioned that I planned to record HSM. My ds10 and ds8 said "oh, that's a good movie, you'll like it". I asked them how they knew and they matter of factly told me that they had already watched it at Grammy's. Wouldn't you know it, they beat me again.
