My bosses have a mail slot. I am going to nail it shut one of these days.
Princess was kind of fussing, but she was going back to sleep. UNTIL the mailman came by and dumped all the mail through the slot! Now she is awake and she is GROUCHY. 
It is almost 2:30 and I haven't heard anything else from DH. I wonder what he is doing? He usually calls when he is leaving the warehouse to head home. Odd. Maybe he is filling out paperwork for his specialist application.

Whew! Finally caught up! We are having a good time.
Phil, Terra and I ate at Goofy's Kitchen on Monday night after we arrived. It was a lot of fun and the characters were wonderful! It was the first time Phil had ever done anything like that and he seemed to enjoy it (a lot more than I thought that he would too!). Terra was loving it. We didn't have it planned, but when Phil picked us up after Super Shuttle dropped us off, he asked if we could go to dinner someplace nice. That's not really "nice", I know, but it's priced the same and I knew that Terra would love it. As soon as we approached the area she got SOOO excited.
Tuesday we just hung out all morning, then ran some errands, including a stop at the Disney Warehouse Outlet. Terra got a cute shirt and I got some of the character cars for her stocking. After lunch, we tagged along to a cultural dance class the boys are taking this month. They made some ankle bracelet and learned an Eastern Indian dance. I was impressed with how well she was staying involved and remembering the moves.
Yesterday was Disneyland!! Yippee!! When we first arrived, Nemo was well over an hour wait (must have been early entry day) so we made the decision to possible sacrifice that from our list. In the end we did 20 things between both parks, including Terra's first ride on Space Mountain!! (It is 40" in DL as the cars are different.) She wasn't all that thrilled with it for now, but was proud of herself for going. She also agreed to go on Pirates and Haunted Mansion and loved them both. For some reason, for the last year or so she has been refusing to do those two. Pirates = hills, Mansion = scary apparently. I got her to go though and now I think we're passed those fears. I couldn't talk her into Splash Mountain, but got really close. I think by the next visit she'll be all over it! I really think she'll love it as soon as she tries. By the end of the night we hit Nemo with only a 30 minute wait and it was pretty cool. I like the combination of old submarine ride aspects and the Nemo aspects. I was afraid that it might be just the Epcot ride in a submarine. Terra LOVED it though and thought the sub was too cool.
Not much else on the plans for the rest of our trip. Phil was able to finally get some afternoon time off today so he'll get to see Terra without her falling asleep before we can get anywhere. I'm not sure what we're doing when he gets here, but we'll figure something out. Tomorrow is playgroup reunion with our old friends and then dinner with the inlaws. Saturday we're having breakfast at Rainforest Cafe and then heading home. Hopefully someone will be there to pick us up since they can't seem to figure out how to work it out, even though I asked everyone before booking. Oh well.
Hope that everyone is doing well! I'll try to keep caught up, but at least we'll be home soon.

Oh yeah, I read this on an email from Southwest this morning and thought some of you might be interested. It sounds like a decent idea to me. Now the early check in people still get the benefit of the A pass, but young families can still get seats together easily.

Currently in San Antonio, TX and beginning October 2 in all other Southwest cities, an adult traveling with a child four years old or younger will board between the “A” and “B” boarding groups. If you have an “A” boarding pass, please feel free to board with that boarding group. With an all-jet fleet outfitted with comfortable, leather seats, our families with small children are easily accommodated together.

I gave in a job application to the Disney Store today. Tomorrow I meet with the manager. It's not big bucks or anything but it would help out alittle. Maybe even pay for our April trip for 4 days after the cruise.
Sorry I haven't been able to keep up with personal notes, but I am so behind. RL is very hectic & doesn't allow my Dis'ing as much as I would like.

Hi, Jen! I'm glad you're back! We want you to know that we're happy to have you here, even if you are sad. You can always tell us how you are feeling! There isn't really anything any of us can do or say to make the situation better, but you should know that we are here to listen and care!
I finally heard from DH. He was in talking to the Business manager. Just like I suspected, his supervisor wasn't able to change anybody's mind about taking his route away. He did get some good news, though.
They are making him a specialist. I guess he will start that on Oct. 14. So at least he won't be stuck with a horrible, low-paying route that he would have to try to bid out of. The vacation situation isn't as bleak as I thought, either. The weeks are Sun-Sat, 2 days off each week. So whatever week he gets he'll have 5 vacation days and 2 days off for a MINIMUM of 7 consecutive days off. Now, IF IF IF he could manage to finagle it he could have Fri & Sat off the week before his vacation and Sun & Mon off the week after for a total of 11 consecutive days. That's even BETTER than the 10 days he gets now. But I don't know how likely that is, and I don't know if they would agree to it in advance so we could actually book for that amount of time. At any rate, he'll have at least 7 days for WDW.
Now the next hurdle is the vacation bid. If he can't get a week in August I'll be scrambling to figure out some other time we can go. I don't get more vacation time until June 25, so we have to go after June 25 and be back by August 24 so DS can start school. Our APs expire August 16, so going after that would be far less cost effective than going while the APs are still valid. And I would prefer NOT to go in July. So we'll see what happens. He will be bidding against the guys who run the convenience store routes instead of the grocery routes so he has no clue how many guys are ahead of him.
So now we wait for vacation bid and see how it plays out.

When Stephanie and I went in 2005, we wore khaki pants with matching Disney shirts and noticed others were wearing disney shirts. I know we will be wearing matching shirts, just do not know which ones yet. I will wear capri pants.
